Vast majority of khalsa would get crushed by even buzdil brahmin sena and bandar shiv sena alone these days. Buddhists have their own sena's that are now even attacking muslim minorities in burma and sri lanka. Atheists and Christians have the Vatican and various soldiers in western governmental armies.

Sikhs first need to establish a proper sena of their own like back in the days when they had akali sena and various other para-military outfits. Without a vanguard of modern military trained Sikhs then the kaum are sitting target for the enemy present and future.

One thing we can take out of this conflict is the way the Iraqi Kurdish people played their cards. They remained neutral between the Sunni and Shia. When ISIS attacked, the Kurds also made their move and increased their territory by 40% and even regaining their historic capital Kirkuk.

Similarly if India also gets into situation where there is a major conflict between Hindus and Muslims, the Sikhs should remain neutral as our people did during the 3rd battle of Panipat. There are 800 million hindus in india. The bahman leadership is scared of the masses of lower castes below them converting to other religions. So there are alot of issues in pakistan that need addressing but there are more bigger issues in India that need sorting first. Indian establishment has been the main aggressor against Sikhs since 1947 and that is were our energies should be concentrated against.

To be fair buddhists and hindus are bottom of the barrell when coverage of media is concerned they hardly have any. The thing I noticed with BBC is that it isnt impartial we know this for years, but for default it will give most coverage to atheists and their issues then christians then muslims then jews and then Sikhs and then hindus and then buddhists

In terms of favorable reporting is concerned it will follow what the british government and establishments line is because thats where it gets its money. BBC is a state owned media and so will spout out state propaganda. This way we can gage how the UK govt feels about British sikhs and their issues, and judging from what we have learned so far we can see they dont really care for Sikh interests.

Technically I dont think the word hindu comes up in vedas or bhagadvita gita. I remember see a hindu pundit swami explaing the word hindu came from the Persians in which it means "black theif".

I think the real lesson to be learned here is how blunt our kirpans are.

Last year we had 4 UK Sikhs trying to cut the throat of Gen. Brar with a kirpan that turned out to be as blunt as a children's toy sword.

Now we have dozens of people visibly hacking away at each other's body parts with long swords resulting in relatively minor injuries.
