  1. I agree with Prabhjot Singh that everyone makes mistake and bhai jaswinder singh probably forgot to put full attention to his duties because of being in rush etc.

    However, looking at his past history since he took the sewa of head granthi, I would say that it was his third strike and from internal sources, I know bhai sahib is very proud of having very close relation with badal and thinks of himself as untouchable by sgpc and co. Having such close relation is probably the reason why bhai sahib still got a good job even after being demoted.

    His first strike was when he did bhangra while holding sri sahib and wearing singh sahib dress and participated in other non-sikhi stuff (haldi,throwing money) at his bhanja's pre-wedding program. Second strike was when he was en route to attend some function locally, his car hit a person on scooter and he looked out and since he was in hurry/late so he left the scene. While coming after program, relatives of scooter person (who died) stopped his car with police beacon and protested.

    Sangat called him twice to resign before chaupai sahib incident and he always reply in harsh tone acting that he is untoubable. I am not against bhai sahib but looking at three strikes in the past, I think it is good decision by SGPC to demote him; even though I don't think he is capable of doing granthi singh sewa but I respect the decision.

    The violation he did recently was asking a PATIT to read Savaiyey during parkash at amrit wela just many days ago in Darbar Sahib. This is a gross violation of Gurmat Maryada.Vaheguroo hinself has removed him if you ask me. This rehraas mistake was meant to be! for him for misusing his head granthi power.

    It cannot be called "Khalsa" raaj if it is devoid of Naam. If Naam is there then it cannot be secular in nature either. Lovingly tolerant-yes. Ranjeet Singh's raaj was where Sikh spiritualism didn't thrived, in materialistic way we did thrive. Not spiritually in that period.

    But Santa being knowledgeable of Gurbani(as you claim) joined hands with Indra churail to re-construct Sri Akal Takht Sahib ?? also the loads of cash he received.

    A blind man falls into a dark pit because of his blindness. But, a man with 2 normal eyes(Santa) with a lighted candle(Gurbani) in his hand still falls into a dark pit?

  5. Thats the first i heard that they never do chaur at patna sahib. I dont really believe u unless u show me evidence. Tbh even if u did i would say they should do chaur sahib there.

    At Hazoor sahib, taksal and nihung singhs chaur sahib is done.

    Im leaving at that and not going to comment further, i know that u dont believe that the same respect shouldnt be given to Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji as is to Sri Guru granth Sahib ji. Its up to the original poster what level of sharda he/she has on Guru Gobind Singhjis Bani to decide how/she should do prakash. He/she has heard from all sides

    The Guru title is only and only for SGGS jee. Baba Gurbachan Singh too only used the title "DASAM GURU" Granth---->Granth of the 10th Guru.

    If you idolize misled people's innovated maryada in Nanded, then perhaps you are also a jhatka lover and marijuana pujari. Then on my behalf it pointless talking to you. At least such manmat in not prevalent in Patna Sahib.

  6. Gurta gaddi wasnt given to Aad Granth Sahib in 1604 but Guru Arjan dev ji still did Chaur sahib, hukanmma was still taken and The Aad Granth Sahib was praksahed where Guru Sahib would have sat and the resting place was guru sahibs own aasan.

    So how is doing chaur sahib on Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji wrong?

    (Guru Dasam = Guru Gobind singh ji)

    To the orginal poster, keep the same satkaar for Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji as you would for Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

    Prakash of Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib ji is in the hazoori of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. The same way Guru Roop Panj Pyare are in the amrit sanchaar.

    Sree Guru Granth Sahib was destined for Gurgadhi. Hence, the respect from Guru Arjan Dev Sahib.

    In Patna Sahib they never do chaur, hence I said what I said.

    No need to churn self innovated controversies here.

  7. AS GURUVAHJI SAID CAN I HAVE SMALLER MANJI SAHIB FOR DASAM GRANTH JI?

    Since, the Hukamnama from Sree Akal Takht only say NOT to keep Sree Dasam Granth at the same level as Sree Guru Granth Sahib. There is no problem of keeping it on Manji Sahib, but you have to make sure Manjee Sahib is very much lower than the one of Sree Guru Granth Sahib...Manji should be enough in size to accomodate the saroop. Neither should chour Sahib seva be done over Sri Dasam Granth Sahib as Gurgadhi was only given to Sree Guru Granth Sahib. But maximum satkaar should also be given to the Sre Dasam granth saroop.

    He is a self radicalized deravaad radical. He HAS, IS, & WILL continue to hate AKJ as long as he exist. He tries to sound very diplomatic in his words, at times his hatefull rhetoric may not even be obvious. But this doesn't mean many Singhs from the Jatha dont know what is in his heart.

    hint:Look out for the word 'Bhasauria' that he indirectly tries to uses to "indirectly" refer to akj at times.

    such people are the reason, I rarely use this forum anymore.

I don't deny that the intentions behind the making of this video might be a concern towards how obsessed we've become with the alliances we've formed with our favorite Jathebandis, which is fine. What I don't get is what was the need to portray the usual chores of a GurSikh in a way thats almost close to mockery? Its almost hypocritical because the same people who have their pants on fire each time a Hindu/Muslim makes fun of a Sardar are actually enjoying all this. Don't get me wrong, I am all for humor, but these kind of videos give me an impression of a person (like myself) who probably isn't at a level where he could actually abide by all the Rehits that he tries to make a joke out of. I read through the Singh's clarification rant as well. Good points, well said, however nothing justifies this kind of video. Not only it gives non-Sikhs encouragement to further shoot videos mocking Sikhs (and now may be even Sikh chores), it puts forward the impression that Sikhs themselves mock their faith, they are probably frustrated with what their religion teaches and so they are venting it out by making such videos. I personally found it offensive towards all the 4 kinds of Sikhs he portrayed, including those missionaries who utter nothing but manure. Rather than responding to the venomous propaganda of the missionaries, why mock them? Doesn't it make us look weak and ignorant to answer their questions? Gives them an excuse as well to further taunt us.

    Why do I say this? Because unlike you guys I was once a non-Sikh, and if I was a non-Sikh today and saw such a video, the first thing I'd probably do is show this to all Sikhs I knew and tell them how their own folks are mocking their faith, and would enjoy the sight of embarrassment on their faces.

    So guys, just a reminder, the Sikhi saroop you carry around with you is not just you, its the representation of the entire Khalsa Panth. Every move you make will be remembered by everyone who sees you. People will forget your face, your name, but will remember what you did and will tell 100 others as to what they saw a Sardar do. Likewise, people will forget this guy's name and face, they will forget all the actions he did and the stuff he said. What they will always remember is they saw a Sikh mock Sikhism, no matter how much you try to justify that it was done in good spirits and light mood.

    Its one thing to laugh at oneself, but something else to become the laughing stock for the world. So please be careful and choose wisely.

    For those who enjoyed it, I respect your opinions as well, so no further arguments from my side. Just remember one thing, next time a Hindu/Muslim makes fun of a Sardar, I will be reminding you your laughter towards this video.

    And I repeat, I am not going to argue with anyone over this. If you enjoyed it, if it made you laugh, I am happy for you. May Guru Sahib always keep you happy, smiling and laughing.

    Nice to know that atleast there is 1 person who still has bibek budhi on this forum.

    with maharaaj kirpa my husband and i are going to take amrit,

    we had a typical punjabi wedding with tha bhangra and stuff, dont even knew that time meaning of anand karaj

    we went to amritdhari weddings and feel like we missed something out during our wedding..

    ive never seen or heard of a couple who is taking anand karaj for second time (same couple)

    is this possible?

    In strict Akhand Kirtani Jatha amrit sinchars, when a couple comes for peshi they are first given amrit then anand karaj is performed. I know that anand Karajs that have been done in Amrit Sinchar mandal itself for couple who were not amritdharee before.

    An Anand Karaj as per gurmat is only valid, when both are accept SGGS as Guroo. This means taking amrit and keeping rehit. This is the reason a Singh and Singhni who are to be married come to the hazoree of SGGS jee to do their anand karaj. To take Guru Sahib(Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee) & sangat as witness to their union.

    By right, 2 people who get married in presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee both can only be amritdharee.

    The rest Guru Sahib knows better.

  12. I've interacted with these sorts of girls many times and they love pakis. They love the badboy image. They love the thug. Surely this is a failure of the community and their parenting?

    Pakistani tend to see girls other communities as s-luts ans sex objects. Even the most "religious" paki boys who says insha'allah and masha'allah throughout the day, can be dangerous sexual predator.

    My cousin sister gets continuous Facebook messages and indecent invites from Pakis...trust me they werent 2-3 ...nearly 87! and she showed them to me herself. Objective was clear...which was sex.

    How about the failure of the Pakistani community and their parenting?

    Something is very wrong with the Pakis and "Islam" is definitely not working in their lives either.
