The Lord is One and He can be attained through the grace of the true Guru.

च्क्र चिहन अरु बरन जाति अरु पाति नहिन जिह ॥
He who is without mark or sign, He who is without caste or line.

ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਅਰੁ ਰੇਖ ਭੇਖ ਕੋਊ ਕਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਤਿ ਕਿਹ ॥
रूप रंग अरु रेख भेख कोऊ कहि न सकति किह ॥
He who is without colour or form, and without any distinctive norm.

ਅਚਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਨਭਉ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ਅਮਿਤੋਜਿ ਕਹਿਜੈ ॥
अचल मूरति अनभउ प्रकास अमितोजि कहिजै ॥
He who is without limit and motion, All effulgence, non-descript Ocean.

ਕੋਟਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਸਾਹੁ ਸਾਹਾਣਿ ਗਣਿਜੈ ॥
कोटि इंद्र इंद्राणि साहु साहाणि गणिजै ॥
The Lord of millions of Indras and kings, the Master of all worlds and beings.

ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਮਹੀਪ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਅਸੁਰ ਨੇਤਿ ਨੇਤਿ ਬਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਕਹਤ ॥
त्रिभवण महीप सुर नर असुर नेति नेति बन त्रिण कहत ॥
Each twig of the foliage proclaims: "Not this Thou art.

ਤ੍ਵ ਸਰਬ ਨਾਮ ਕਥੈ ਕਵਨ ਕਰਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਰਣਤ ਸੁਮਤਿ ॥੧॥
त्व सरब नाम कथै कवन करम नाम बरणत सुमति ॥१॥
All Thy Names cannot be told. One doth impart Thy Action-Name with benign heart.1

and guru gobind singh ji is not at all violent listen to the complete katha total 6 parts each vaguely 9mints a total of 60 mints

The following is an old maryada of doing paath of bhram kavach baani

1. Time: 3 hours before sunrise (excluding the time of brush,kesi ishnaan. ...)

Wear clean clothes, sit on floor with carpet or any sheet on it.

2. Requirement: a.Keep pure water in a clean sarabloh container (baata),

b. Dhoof.

c. Pure desi ghee di jot ( diva).

3. Process : a. After kesi ishnaan, arrange the things of requirement (dhoof, batti)

b.do nitnem of 5 baanis

c. ardas of 5 baanis

d. 32 paaths

e. Ardass of 32 paaths

Dont forget that shaheed sings are present when you do this paath and water in sarabloh container is for shaheed singhs

veerjee rest all understood except 32 paath please enlighten me what are these 32 paath and where can i get them veerjee kirpa hovegi if i could get those 32 paath sahib

and veerjee an odd question when we do paath do we get an essense of shaheed singhs being present over with us

Does a moneh or trimm singh have the right to ask questions or talk about sikhi? I see people shutdown moneh and trimm singhs all the time on various social networking sites such as twitter, facebook, other sikh forums who reveal themselves to be a moneh.

People tell them to shut their mouth and go keep kesh and that they have no right to even talk about sikhi until they do that. What about for he who is without sin cast the first stone? Shouldn't we be non judgemental of moneh aren't we demonising, alienating, and pushing them away if we do so.

Should we step in and stop someone doing that or is it good we push moneh like that since the gurus rigorously tested singhs as did older singhs to really step up to it. Perhaps if we were more respectful to moneh they would hijack sikhi and start their own manmat things like go on gurdwara stages and promote nightclubbing events.

How about with Sikhs who don't follow our version of Sikhi who might drink a bit of wine time to time to get over depression or eat meat perhaps they suffer from health issues and need extra protein and don't get enough from all the vegetarian sources. Do they deserved to be shut down and told to keep quiet about sikhi? Should they be told not to preach it or get on stages to talk about sikhi? Is sikhi only for men in saintly guises? I remember hearing about nihangs in nanded hazoor sahib refusing to give prasad to people who trimm their beard or their hair, the prasad is only for keshdharis.

this is what happens if u give stage to somebody who is not sikh be it a mona or dhadhi cut claiming that he follows sikhi but inside even he or she knows that he himself is ignorant to the path of baba nanaks sikhi

i am amritdhari and as you all amritdhari singh singhnees know we have to maintain sucham in every aspect we do in daily life except we can take jootha from our khalsai brothers those who took amrit paan together with us

now the problem is i have friends from other religions especially abrahmic like christians and muslims which do not have and so not understand the concept of jooth & soocham and try to eat from my plate

i tried explaining the concept of guru ka langar and maintaining sucham but nothing fell on deaf ears all response i get is you are a racist as we are whites and blacks and from other religion

i went on searching in dictionaries and on internet if there is a specific word that could translate the word jooth in english but couldnt find any word in particular thats the reason of this topic i want to know if there is a precise word for jooth in english

i hope ill get a specific answer here

just type into google Pritpal Singh Bindra and Charitropakhyan and her has translated it in two parts whaich can be found in pdf on the net. The translation is very poor and does not really make sense without commentary as for the reason the individual charittar was cited but it is the only english translation so far.

108 with a brahmgeyani means that over 100 of his students gain brhamgeyan actually even today most sadhu sants dont even know 108 but they use it with a name ... but 108 113 1008 and so on were kind of degrees in old days in sadhu sants rishi munis ... sant baba karam singh ji hoti mardan walle were 108 sant karam singh ji as they produced brhamgeyanis like sant baba isher singh ji etc ...

i have seen many sants using 108 after there name or may be ppl call them i have seen this written on many dera entrances after name of some sant or mahapurakh
