  1. There is no such thing as a "love" marriage. The word love has been over used and abused. Ppl saying 'I love you' 'you love me'. This is an utter mockery!!

There is only one true love in the world that can only be between you (soul bride) and waheguru(husband). When people claim to be in love with someone that is a form of moh(attachment). Even when a mother says she "loves" her child that en fact isn't love but a strong form of moh.

    wow, you're so dumb :|

theres a difference between love and attachment

    and love isn't attachmentt

  2. Good sign. I mean it seems like you are really eager to do something about your situation. It's really not that hard you know. Your problem is that you are just really lazy. That's it. No biggie. You are not alone. I can assure you that. What you really need to do is:

CHANGE YOUR LIVING STYLE: THE WAY YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE.

For the time being, whenever you may wake up noon or whatever, start planning your day from there. Maybe this will inspire you to wake up early. First thing though, whenever you wake up, try to picture yourself in the Guru Ghar doing Matha Tek in front of Guru Ji. Just imagine it. It brings peace within.

And try to keep a bottle of cold water with you. Spray yourself with it anytime you think you are not doing what you are really supposed to be doing. Along it sigh out a long thank you to the Lord.

You 'try' to 'listen' to Gurbani. That's great. That's what Guru Naanak Sahib emphasizes in Jap Ji Sahib "Suṇi▫ai". By listening to the Lord's glories, we eventually become him. So that's very good, keep it up.

Nitnem is 'there' so you can practice it daily, 'Nit'(daily). This way you get the hang of it eventually. The important thing is that you are doing it. Through listening. Good again!

You are feeling that you should be listening to more Gurbani. This feeling is an accomplishment in itself. It will inspire you eventually to listen to him more. Give more way to such feelings.

Eating out is not a problem at all. As long as you are eating things meant for humans, i.e. a vegetarian diet, it's fine. Whenever you start chewing on your first bite though, just utter inside of you "Waheguru, thank you". Waheguru does wonders!

See there is no BIG problem at all. All can be easily changed! No worries. Just don't give up. Okay? Waheguru...

woww, your such a cooll person

i really like your personalityy and positive attitude!

    :)

  3. I remember once i was at gurdwara and an 'amritdhari' sikh refused a Singhs fateh and said he didnt say fateh to non amritdhari sikhs. He seemed well ignorant.

One guy did that, so he personally is stupid for that not all Amritdharis. I say Gurfateh to everyone nonAmritdhari or Amritdhari, to me they think since they arent Amritdhari they think Sat Sri Akal is good enough, to me it is an insult to say Sat Sri Akal because GurFateh is what a Sikh should say regardless of Amritchauk or not etc. I think monaey just dont like saying the word KHALSA maybe it makes them feel insecure about their Sikhi????

Ive seen ignorant people on all sides, remember you must keep Gurmat vibe to be a true Amritdhari, meaning no bad attitudes etc or your just as bad as anyone else with a bad attitude.

I dont eat from nonAMritdharis because they think I think Im better than them because I made a commitment to Guru Sahib. They seem to want to break peoples Amrit by throwing in mas or their bad vibes into the food. My wife and I got into an arguement the other day about a minor infraction she did and after I yelled at her she said for me to not make her food until she says ok because she didnt want to eat food made by me even with a vibe out of the NAAM context(and we are both Amritdhari). I thought it was fair and said ok you are right. So if an AMritdhari has a bad vibe we shouldnt eat from them either, so it doesnt just apply to nonAmritdharis.

People love to pull out the "you think your better" card which in most cases is the other way around, I see people think they are better because they found a way to think they dont need Amrit and just love God to understand Sikhi which completely bypasses Guru Gobind Singhs Khanda di Pahul and in this think if they put up a wall of ignorance then they have battled that guilt from their mind and actually fight against the very reason why Guru Sahib made the Sikh take a vow or be on your own with spirituality.

You may place ambrosial nectar before crows and ravens, but they will be satisfied only by eating manure and dung with their mouths.

^ Agree with everything, good points :)

  4. eatting halal meat is one of the 4 sins, not eating meat "jelps" your mind focus withoutn the greedy tongue wanting all sorts of meats, and also meat has lots of fat and rots the body and clogs blood veins/vessels.

Guru Hargobind Ji said not to eat meat and we shouldnt but since you didnt pay attention before you ate it means you need to pay attention to yourself of what you do/say/think and then you will be on a better track and wont make other obvious mistakes.

If you think before you eat something then you wont have these concious guilts you are having. Think "BEFORE" you do/say/think/eat something.

Do 5 JapJi and Ardas, and do some Langar seva (the lowest nitty gritty seva) and then do another Ardas for not thinking before you ate something. You are supposed to remember Vaheguru in every morsel of food and besides not thinking of Vaheguru you werent even thinking about not eating egg product foods etc, and thats the thing you need to do your personal tankhiya seva for.

All the high spirited Sants(not talking about bhangi sadus laugh.gif ) never ate meat, but just because you dont eat meat doesnt make you pure. I personally dont eat meat and I certainly dont encourage people to eat meat but just because you dont eat meat doesnt make you good. having a good mindset is wat makes you good and in my expierience I feel not eating meat "helps" one gain a better understanding of the mind so for that reason I feel is why we shouldnt eat meat. ie how many idiots do you know that wear a turban or a chunni and dont eat meat but still are beyond foolish????????? Follow bibek Sahib.

    That wasn't neccessary...

  5. Waheguru Jee Kaa Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Kee Fatehh!

I know exactly how you feeel, beacuse the day after i took Amrith, i ate chocolate that said it 'may contain eggs"

    & i realized after i ate it

I criedd so much, because i was so scared, since it was my 1st day after the amrit sanchaar, and i felt so careless

but i talked to someone older who i trust a lot, and told him the situation and he said it's not that big of a deal.

I know its wrong to eat meat or eggs, but if it happens by an accident

'or if its something like 'may contain eggs' or its an animal part in a product, its not a big deal

This is really small compared to all the other things that happen in our day-to-day livess

so you knoow what, i'd say - don't worry about it =)

i know others might disagree with me, but i`m just telling you from my experiences with other ppl.

As long as you know you didn't really mean too & Guru Sahib knows, its okaay =)

Waheguru Jee Kaa Khalsa, Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh Jee!

  6. Dear YoungLady jee,

We are sikhs, we stand out. We dont' follow the crowd. We do whats right. What is right or wrong, you can figure it out by just telling your mother. if she says, yeah, go ahead, its right. If she gets all fired up and kicks you out of the house, you know its definitely wrong. Not that I am suggesting to act like a baby and tell your mother before you go to bathroom. But I mean is imagine telling your mom and imagine her reaction for it.

Bakee jo rub nu bhave, tuhanu galat suaadan vich uljhana hai taan rub ne change mande da difference figure out karn dee wisdom nahi deni, je rakhna hai taan He would provide you the wisdom and strength to follow whats right.

    Transforming Sexual Feelings

thank you for that link, is was really great to listen what he explains.

the thing is: i have read most replies and you all make sense to me, really. you are right, when you say that i must trust god.

but then again, what is with all the people around me: some really believe in god, most of them are christians(does not really matter which denomination one has, since we all believe in the same god) and the all do have sex with there boyfriends. are they all sinners?!

i hope i do not offend anyone with this reply,

it is just what i going on in my mind,

    thank you all very much,

    bye

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh !

    waheguru, waheguru, waheguru

I go to a catholic school, and so i learn a lot about catholics and christians

and to answer your questions, your friends who have sex with their boyfriends are sinners

because in the 7 commandments (which you can search up on google)

Jesus has said, commanded "You shall not committ adultery"

    Waheguru!

    - i hope you find the answers to your questions

& may Waheguru himself lead you to the right path
