Hello everyone, I have a question about garment colors: When I watched the videos on Khalsa TV, many of the Sikhs were dressed in garments that were blue and gold/orange.Do the colors blue and gold/orange have special religious significance? Thank you elenaD

Hello everyone. I would like your help in locating Indian films on DVD that have what you believe to be accurate Sikh characters, as well as any Indian/Punjabi films about the Sikh religion, or good stories concerning Sikhs. Many of the previous posts on this site indicate to me that there is little in the way of good Sikh characters in the majority of Bollywood films.Indeed although I am not a Sikh, nor Indian,I have seen many Bollywood films, and the few I have seen that have had Sikh characters seem to have made them the subject of jokes. I enjoy watching some Indian films, and order DVD's from the internet.I have noticed that many stores have a section with Punjabi language films, and a few of them list some Sikh religious movies, as well as some historical movies. Also, I know you have probably discussed this topic many times before, so please feel free to let me know your recomendations by PM, or e-mail. Thank you in advance for your help. elena
