  1. vaheguru! Ishwar, Inderaj, ekta...kaur/singh...
  2. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh! This morning i woke up and one thing that i remembered from while i was sleeping was that in my dream the words "dham dham sadha samalda" kept being repeated over and over again. I know that they are words from a shabad and I'v tried looking up on sikhi to the max for a translation, but i can't get it for some reason. I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the translation. Thanx. Gurfateh!
  3. Vaheguru! Yeh, there's some panjabi school classrooms near the upstairs divan hall, so u cld probs rest in there, I suppose, that way u cld still listen to the kirtan coz that's gonna be upstairs too :umm: vaheguru
  4. Vaheguru! All sounds good :umm: For me "dream" kirtani are usually people who aren't so well known, not always, but there are so many people out there, who many peeps have never heard n may never hear, but their kirtan is so inspiring n full of love I think everyone has the potential to do kirtan n simran whether accompanied with an instrument or not, whether they can sing or not, as long as they put their heart n soul into it  Vaheguru
  5. Vaheguru!! Sounds good, do u know who's coming to do kirtan at the mo? I think it's great that there's gonna be 24 hours of kirtan and simran :TH: , and on top of that not only is money being raised for a well deserved cause, but also we get 24 whole hrs of food for the soul :umm: wow!! C y'all there! Gur fateh!
  6. Vaheguru!! Aww...soz bhaji! No offence intended lol!! U sounded so, hmm, knowledgeable about it, just assumed...my mistake. Pure compliment tho :umm: Vaheguru
  7. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh!! With guru ji's kirpa i became a gursikh when i was 10 coz the time felt rite, so in a way I'v dealt with a lot of the probs gursikh girls face from an early age. To tell the truth tho i think if u become a gursikh later in life it is probably harder because there's so many things that u may hav done such as cut ur hair, drink alcohol etc, and i hav so much respect for n e one who can change from such a life towards a completely different, yet more rewarding path. It is v important for one 2 be a strong person within to go against the "trend". There are a few, hmm, lets say challenges (lol) that i do face occasionally at uni n everyday life - n i agree with the bhenji who mentioned hair - but in that case u just hav to think this is how vaheguru made me - i am who i am - and n e 1 who tells u different isn't worth knowing. I can guarantee that u n probably many others, incl me, will face many challenges as a gursikh, but the reward will be more sweeter :umm: Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh!
