Closed conditioned mind driven by ideology, concept, personality, group worship unfortunately unable to see infinite ocean wisdom of Guru maharaj as its not open and receptive towards it. It's life is just like frog being conditioned to only well. Good news is its only psychological not biological limitations and super good news is that closed conditioned mind is one step away from full embrace from Guru sahib all it had to do is drop its conditioning and go back to its innocence of open and receptivity to eternal endless possibilities. 

Somebody bought up interesting spin on this topic-  maryada in this particular seva. I can't help but to think where was maryada and the fight -righteous cause for it when all non amritdhari from punjabi background were doing seva and still doing seva at darbar sahib. Right off course, we all conveniently forgot about it now, totally ignore it and carry on.

Lets see whats happening here, let me may be help deconstruct pathological ego conditioning which is always looking for conflicts/always finding dirt and looking for weak soft targets to project itself on and control.

Ego will never look for conflicts where it knows other opponent has huge bigger numbers or look for conflicts where it feels comfortable, it will always ignore that cause (which might be just as important) but rather pick on someone who is weak, use some righteous cause (namely- maryada in this case) use that as focus point and hide behind it. It knows any righteous cause is very emotional, polarizing issue for masses, it will hide behind it to simply a)gain more followers- more egos to feel control and good b) latch on resistance as it know it thrives on resistance as resistance is oxygen to ego.

Off course we all have egos but there is difference between tranquilized ego which is tranquilized by naam simran, seeing gun(good qualities) in all, feeling ultimate non dual(One in all, all in one) gurmat reality hoping it can surrender themselves fully to Guru maharaj than mobilized fanatic ego which functions so unconsciously and subtly that one does not even realize how unconscious their words and actions are.

Wake up from this silly egoistical game and feel essence of Gurbani. Its so evident that its hilarious and pathetic at the same time.
 

I am also against colonized ways/anglo saxon underlining agenda (we know whats best for you people) or any attempt to see eastern dharam or spirituality from victorian anglican simplistic lens . But in this particular case, perhaps we all fall victim of misguided passion and jumped the gun on a mere sight which is another extreme of itself in exclusiveness which inadvertently will push lot of people away than being inclusiveness aligned with Gurmat sidhant. The real shameful event is not the one above if people want to really play semantics or get too technical but rather shameless event of two fanatic pendu arbitrary sikh groups fighting in the past and destroying sanctity of their father place-darbar sahib which was broad casted live on BBC. 

Fully sehaj balanced natural response should have been- good karma for them, all innocent until proven guilty while also working on limiting on balance of tourism so everything could be upheld in balanced fashion.

I thought they are already fighting them in syria and else where with their f35 jets,  bombing the hell out of them, systematic destroying their network. This is war so back and forth is expected. Context and case by case circumstances are everything so we cannot apply blanket rules from misal times all across the board as history shows different level of engagement with opposition from Guru sahib (ie- dealing with aurenzeb).

In this particular incident she shouldn't have killed as a) we failed to investigate further b) asses her mental state c) give her chance to speak- why she did this heinous crime. d) turn this tragedy to positive help her rise from mental/anger issues have her do sehaj patt of same dhan dhan dhan sri guru granth sahib that she did beadhi off and ask her where is the enemy? Show the world, set that as precedence how trans-formative dialogue can be, direct interaction with Guru sahib be.

Anyone can kill enemy straight especially helpless yet grossly misguided woman, it does not show much bravery but rather it shows ones fear, impatience, being slave to anger, self righteous mixed with ego (this gives ego cocaine type high boast), hyper tension/paranoia. Two things have to happen in order to defeat terrorism in france. This has to be done meticulously and methodically

- France must address social and economic disparity between francophone citizens and muslim immigrant population from arab countries which are often demonized and vilified. They need to close this vulnerability loop hole.

- France must spend more efforts to tackle islamic wah abi fascist radicals/ideology both online and there in france who is preying on those under- represented vulnerable youths who has been vilified by wider society in france and has been deprived from equality. They prey on these kinda individuals who is already at critical point in their life, in total despair, all of sudden radical ideology gives their tranquilized state of being/ego wrong kinda hope, power hope/high by providing them "righteous cause", "religious cause" and viola, its perfect recipe for disaster.

Egos which are high on religious/righteous cause driven by ideology are most hardest ones to be reason with and detoxify , high ego gets on righteous religious cause/ism/ideology/particular righteous cause is un-imaginable and very high drug like, to be in contrast its like one is getting 10 shots of cocaine drug right in their veins all in once..!!!!

Your logic is absolutely flawed.

Its not possible nor important to have people agree on appointment of jathedars but rather more important matter in hand should be - let jathedars actions speak for itself and win hearts of many by their actions- let them make a road way to fix many under lining issues.

Those who dont agree with appointments (I for one for my own set of reasons) should be atleast neutral should not cause road blocks in their way, stay out of their way and let them prove their worth of jathedar by their actions.

Sikhi emphasis on great statement which bhagat kabir in gurbani talks about- die before you die (let mind go back to its source in jot saroop and realize there is no death). Our identification with transient body and mind is real death but identification with ONE non dual inner universal spirit unchanging (Eka jot, ekangkar- pure awake awareness aware of itself) is real immortality and amrit.

Only way to reconcile those statements of gurbani together is to contemplate on them in quiet meditation and look at them cognitively -away from conditioned mind. Gurbani is giving tat(essence) updesh of ( "Know that God dwells in all souls, And so become as the dust of the feet of all.") to us.

That has to be realized which is exist in all or atleast felt first which is totally unconditioned/unmanifested potential - jot (aware non dual being) in all because when that is realized and felt - life becomes effortless, all the spontaneous right action (pure righteous action against injustice -dya/dharam/ himmat/mokham/sahib, sat, santokh, bir ras without personality/self ego) flows directly from the source without ego trying to figure out how to respond to fight/stand up against individuals / oppression or ego try to assert itself when responding- diluted with its own vested interest.

I see absolutely no conflicts in above gurbani statements. Connect to the source one soul in all once ego is removed even temporary phases out witness it simply out - how spontaneous right actions - pure jot(awake awareness) functions operates right from your center or core being- there wont be interpretations of that state i can give you- just pure action flowing lucid spontaneous effortlessly flow- whole infinite ocean will flow from for at any required time or circumstances..!!!..All you have to be be aware of aware being -abide in your true being to connect to shabad life force current that sustaining, creating, changing world.

There is nothing any of you guys can do. Dhumma will remain as the taksals Jathedar period. Y'all can whine and moan but nobody is gonna do anything about anything.

We just have to show his chelas how their personality worship has gone total bananas and has deprived of them of thinking straight to the point their inability to abide in first simple teaching of dharam which is dya. My sincere question is whether you believe there is a high probability, given the facts surrounding Dhumma, that there are groups involved behind wants going on with Dhumma and his chelas that wish the Sikh panth ill and/or they are trying to do it for the groups own gain.

its hard to say but i wont be surprised if there is immense interest of outside forces trying to play or influence the whole situation as back drop. One thing we have to realize, outside forces need not to be actually involved physically involved or have any association with those involved in order to influence game, they strategize in a way that end results works out in their favor... they just have to provide fire to the fuel thats it they can control fire storm, wind directions etc as bibek (internal pure cognition) is mostly missing from our panth, everyone, every group is ought to get someone within in intolerance, agitation, fear, parnioa, hate, anakh dividing on many things ..these are back door for outsider to take advantage of us. I commend bhai ranjit singh ji for not giving into these tactics after repeated test by outside influence, he seems to be amaze me so far. He is taking very sensible steps so far to down play enough to prevent further agitation and others to take advantage but enough steady and determination to take it up to CBI to bring those who did this to justice.

Now that becomes a very slippery slope. Off course i can put a stock into sam dristhi argument same goes with sakhi of baba bir singh ji nurangabad feeding langar to dogra sikhs who came to kill him and fauj. But i dont think this argument should fly in mainstream as it opens pandora box with others. In general, Akaal takth sahib should have proper frame work to address - saintly figures association, endorsement, feeding etc to calm controversies and future controversies no that what they have done is wrong but rather small mind cannot understand this gestures...make it mandatory for all including bhramgyanis to stay within frame work of maryada of khalsa panth. Off course if they wishes to express their sam dristhi, they can express it via astral body- sukhsham- awaken jot(surat)

It just goes out to show couple of things on human egoic conditioning influenced by extreme religious beleifs without spiritual (direct experience) under pinning-

Idea or belief (devoid of any direct experience with inner spirit-consciouness) is more important than innocent human life/animal life, this could be widely applied on all right wing religious nuts and left wing nuts bar

And history has shown this attachment -ego thrill fixation on idea and beleif have caused destruction of many innocent lives.

Sikhi is unique and true path no doubt, so called sikhs and community problem these days- they are just petty as everyone else out there. I really hope our sikh collective community consciousness can wake up to real tat non dual gurmat path enshrined in gurbani.

Good question, but we all know the reality of sampardas, groups and its hierarchy deep rooted in traditions- anything or anyone coming up anything out of norm -traditions met with lot of resistance all in the name of keeping up "maryada" so to speak. These days sadly traditions in samparda or groups trumps all including gurbani non dual essence message and exceptions.
