  1. Yeah, intermittent fasting works great because it give your body more time to burn fat, since you will be on an empty stomach for most of the day. It will keep your sugar levels way down and so your body won't have to secrete as much insulin, which leads to fat storage as said earlier. However, you still have to be in a deficit for IF to work. the most popular version of IF is you eat all you calories in a 8 hour window( it can be whatever works best for you, for ex 2-10PM) and you fast for 16 hours/day. It is totally doable since you should be sleeping like 8 hours anyway, so that only leaves 8 hours. I know many people that have done it like that and have lost a bunch of weight fast. That said, you should still refrain from junk food, coke etc as they consist of mostly empty calories and have little nutritional value. Good luck!
  2. You have to consume less calories then you burn to lose weight. It is really that simple. You can google calorie calculator and figure out how many calories you burn each day. Then start tracking your calories intake each day( i recommend using myfitnesspal). If you go into a caloric deficit of like 500 calories/day, you can lose about 1 pound a week( since a pound of fat = 3500 calories). Start with 500 and then you can adjust it according to your goals. You can also exercise and add more cardio so that you burn more calories each day.
  3. It is on Gurmatveechar. the diwan is called jin prem kiyo tin hi prabh paiyo, the one from 2000.Sant ji got darshan of maharaaj in vyapak saroop in sangat. Also i could be wrong but i think that this was Sant ji's last diwaan as they did bairaag about leaving sangat and read the dharna "kite honge sanjogi". you can hear the sangat crying in the background in the end too.
