  1. OK so i have download iKeyEx keyboard thing for the itouch. Then i went and searched up the punjabi font on rock. It downloaded and everything. When I go to settings and click on iKeyEx to do that punjabi is not their. I just jailbroke my itouch so i wanted to get something cool like that. I have a 8GB 3rd Gen. Anyone else have this problem. Punjabi is not there with all the other languages. I tried redownloading at least 10 times and still I have the same problem. Can anybody help out?
  2. Yeah, try telling that to my parents. They said if i married a "non-jatt" they would never accept her. Well, I'm still young and have a long time to think about it.
  3. I'm sorry. I know Ragi Darshan Singh got excommunicated. I just wanted to know if anything like this is happening anywhere else. I go to Bedford Gurdwara. I am sorry for the link also. I just wanted people to know who I was talking about. I am terribly sorry for this. Also, Thank You for the link of Jeonwala getting thrashed. I showed it to my dad and he got a kick out of it. Again, I'm Sorry
  4. Ok I got this. I got his name right. Here's how he looks like. I'm telling you this is so Anti-Dasam Granth I asked him if he took Amrit and he said NO!
  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fathey! We have this problem at our gurdwara. There is this guy who is anti-dasam granth. One day at gurdwara he was distributing CD's. I come to see what he is passing out. It was CD's of Ragi Darshan. I asked him why are you distributing this at gurdwara and he said that dasam granth has many problems with it. I left because i didn't want to listen to him. I told my cousin who told the committee. The committee told the dude to stop doing that stuff. 2 weeks later he brings in this guy from Canada who's name was something like Gurcharan Singh Jeonwala. All i remember is the last name of the dude from Canada was Jeonwala. He was an anti-dasam granth person. The committee had a meeting and they let the guy talk, but not about Dasam Granth. A lot of the youth there were with this guy. It's been about 3 weeks since I haven't been to gurdwara since the closest one is preety far away. So, next time when I meet this guy who distributes CD's what should I do? The committee is not going to do anything at all I'll tell you that. Also, this guy who distributes the CD's claims to know so much, but when he's at a party he usually gets drunk and 2 times his pagg got knocked off(Eye-Witnessed).
  6. I feel so terribly sorry for that person. She should take the time and talk about to somebody thats not a relative. If she doesn't talk about it will haunt her for the rest of her life. Whenever people get problems talking about it makes it much easier on yourself. I suggest that she should listen to bani more and hopefully that will make her stronger mentally.
  7. Right on. I mean I am a "jatt" but i never think that it's a sense of pride or something. I don't believe in the caste system at all. I hate when people discriminate others. It makes me sick.
  8. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fathey! I have faced some problems as well. Some people right after 9/11 started to look at me differently. I was 5 or 6 years old and remember the looks I got when we went back to school. It's really hard growing up as an only Sikh in the school and also being that the rest of the school is white. It took a while, but everything turned back to normal. If somebody ask's you why you keep your hair explain to them what sacrifices other Sikhs made and how they became Shaheed for us to be where we are and who we are today.
  9. That's the problem. The Sangat here in Cleveland does not help at all. There are very few amrithari Sikhs here. I don't think he knows what happened in 84. Any other option. He had problems at his old school too. So, my cousin, Navtej Singh, went there and talked about Sikhi and why it is so important to keep his hair. After that, nobody in his school bothered him. I still don't get why he does it? Especially when he has no problems here. Well, I'll hope for the best and hope that Waheguru take him on the right path. Thanks.
  10. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fathey! To all the brother and sisters here I need a little help. I grew up in a all white middle class community. All my friends know about Sikhi and everything because i've gone to school here and that all my friends are cool. Well, my friend moved into my city. He was a devout Sikh. He used to do Kirtan and everything. Since he was new, i decided to help him out by letting him sit at my table so that it dosen't look like we as Sikhs are weak. I've noticed that he has been doing some really wrong stuff. At first, i noticed that he started shaving off his sideburns. I'm a freshman at high school and i have long sideburns and nobody cares, and he barley had a couple of hairs and then he shaved it off. Next, I noticed that he started to hang around with the drug dealers in the school. Now, since he is doing that stuff and I'm getting pressured into doing that. I tell my friends No because i know the reason why i keep my hair. I just wanted to ask anyone for suggestions on how to get my friend on the right path. Now, his parents are ashamed to go to Gurudwara because you know people talk. Please respond. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fathey!
