So i was wandering is it really that bad to cut your facial hair. i mean keep the turban and everything but just some so girls dont find you as a super hairy guy. and i mean cut some like diljit http://www.diljit.net/images/wallpapers/diljit1024w7.jpg like that. i am sure it isnt that bad. SO is it okay? but besides that your a good person who does gurbani and stuff.

So me and my friends might be going in chardi kala camp and my question is will it be fun? like will it be all Sikhi or will we get to play sports and get free time and things like that. also are there any other camps new new york

Hi guys i am a 15 year old Sikh Boy Living in New York and i have a question about girls and hair.

So you guys might know modern girls dont find guys with hair and turban attractive.

So my questions is How will i ever find love if this goes on and on and even more.

I mean sure there are sardarnia's here But they are barely any. I know even Some SIkh Girls says they dont like a guy with a turban and hair.

Thats a big blow up in face. So How can i find any love? even if there was a sardarni that liked me

what are chances of me thinking she is beutful or me liking her back

This one thing makes me feel like shaving my facial hair but i wont it just makes me feel like doing it.

So can you guys please help me

Wearing a turban in america post 9/11 is not bad as it sounds, if you are educated about Sikhi and your turban. I have recently started to wear a turban and I love it when people come in and ask if I am muslim or often if I hurt my head. That gives me a chance to explain sikhism to them and spread the message of Sikhi. Did you know now majority of my customers (i work at 7/11 type of store) get mad at me if they see me without turban because now they know what it means.

All my veers and bhens around the world please don't cut your hair, educate yourself on Sikhism, learn to be calm when made fun of, wait till the other person stops laughing and then take their joke to explain to them what sikhi is. If you can do that, you can not only find acceptance for yourself in your community, help others around you that go through same issues and most importantly spread khalsa raj.

Yea That was a really good explanation and well Now on i will tell them what Sikhi is because i just noticed by reading this. all of my friends that know what sikhi is treat me equally and even protect me when some other people try to make fun of me.

Well that made me feel better. SO we are warriors people who have turbans and have the courage to have a turban and mustache, beard. Which many people dont. But... What about other Religions they dont have to keep their hair. I am confused on that part or is SIkhism the only real religion. i am confused on that part.

So i am Sikh and 14 well i have a turban i wear. and i have Mustache Which i secretly shave without my parents finding out.I am starting to have a beard and i dont want to have it. while my parents are religious there amrit shaika. I want to cut my hair and shave. I want to shave now i am scared to tell this to my parents. I really want to shave its not that i dont believe in the religion. I have a lot of trust in this religion i have soul for it,i am a vegeterian even i dont mind that i do path everything. But Having hair is just a real pain. Its really unconformable,girls dont find it attractive at all, You spend so much time doing it and stuff, People find it weird and make fun of you and there are more i dont feel like listing. but you got the point. I mean how can i convince to cut my hair. please be nice and have a good reply
