  3. David McGuinness, the manager of the Patterdale Youth Hostel where the group was staying, said: "I saw them walking down the road before the tragedy happened. They looked so happy and full of the joys of life.

"It was a last-minute booking and the party seemed to be in a holiday mood. They were a fantastic sight walking through the village in full dress. They were all real gentlemen. This is such a terrible tragedy."

just got back from visiting Harvinder Singh's family

His Father is a very much chardi kalla person who is giving great aasra and haunsla to his family; he told his wife, Harvinder Singh's Mata ji, why are you upset, don't be upset, you gave birth to such a great son, who died in seva of saving his friend, he said he has gone back to Guru ji, he talked about the 3 lads and the piaar between them, true soul brothers, his mom talked of how Harvinder Singh would always listen to vaars, 24/7, she said even when he slept he would have his mp3 player on his pillow, never tiring of listening.

    Dhan Gur Piareh d_oh.gif

sangat ji please continue your ardassa for the families and their beloved sons. pray.gif

  5. I knew Harvinder Singh, the youngest of them all, really well. He was a close cousin of mine and this day has just been the hardest we've ever had. Personally, ive never lost someone as close as him, in my life.

Harvinder Singh was such an amazing kid. There was so much pyaar there. Even when i was down, he'd know how to lift my spirits back up. He didnt care about what anyone thought of him, he always loved people no matter what.

These were three of the most outgoing, lively, honest decent kids that would never ever wish ill on anyone else. They used to talk of being "immortal" - inspired from Immortal Productions albums -... well now Singho, your spirits will forever be immortal...

I love you Hev. :'( God Bless.

    Vaheguru

Nama Singh i was trying to get in touch to pass my condolences to your family, hopefully we will come tomorrow, i agree with everything you said about Harvinder Singh, whenever he was asked for seva, kaddi nehi naa kitti, gosh i can just see him smiling, so full of piaar, i remember talking about a seva we planned to set up in wolverhampton for the youth and Harvinder Singh's name was one to go down on the list as one of the mukh sevadaars even though he was a lot younger than the rest

and Satvir Singh gosh had so much josh and piaar, Vaheguru d_oh.gif

    Ardaas goes out to the three Gursikhs and their families;

I knew Harvinder Singh aka “Hevvi” quite well, he was like so full of energy and was brilliant at Gatka, he would be at the forefront whenever there was seva to be done, it’s a sad loss

    And also Satvir Singh

The 1st and last time I saw him but can’t forget it, we drove to a local smagam together a few weeks ago, he had just received Amrit a couple of days beforehand, he was soooo boosted, literally vibrating, I could feel his new found love, it was so overwhelming, it brought tears to my eyes and left me tingling with goosebumps, such as amazing soul. The way he talked about youth and what he would like to see change and how his peers perceived him etc was just amazing to hear

While it is a sad loss to the panth and especially the sangat of Wolverhampton, because there is no doubt in my mind that these guys would have gone on to reach greater heights in terms of seva etc, we have to accept Hukam, they came, they did what they were here to achieve, and now they have left us, let's pray that they are united with God, where they deserve to be. d_oh.gif

  7. A murder investigation has begun after an 18-year-old man died following a gang attack.

The victim died in hospital on Monday after being assaulted by a group of up to 15 youths in Windmill Lane, Smethwick on Saturday.

Two men aged 17 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of wounding. The 17-year-old has been released on police bail, but the 20-year-old remains in custody.

West Midlands Police said the victim was kicked and punched by the gang.

The victim was with a friend when attack took place just before 2300 BST.

Any one heard about it?? the boys name was gurpreet maann or sumink ???

i'm sure it was gurdip? the news guys showed a photograph as well, mona dude, people are "speculating" it was a gang of either pakistani muslims or people from african/carribbean descent.
