the sardars were obviosly attacked I saw it happen with my own eyes. I was there when it happened. no one was wanting a fight, but when the guy with the red ramal pulled off anather guys turban THATS when the fight started. the sardars were outnumbered but they still beat the other guys asses. in the video u can c them hit the turban guy and ran off to hide.

Excellent, I'm glad the Sardar brothers gave them a good bashing. It's quite clear that these other morons were the trouble makers.

I just can't believe another Sikh would even contemplate touching someone's turban in a hostile manner. Such filth are not even worthy of being called Sikh. :angry2:

  2. Whatever the reason might be, fighting in gurdwaras, infront of sri guru granth sahib ji and not respect laws of country abroad are more than enough reasons to deport these people back to wherever they come from.

Paa jee, the most enthusiastic ones had North American accents.....The problem goes much deeper.

  3. When asked, however, how many injuries have actually been linked to turbans Frot replied that the association doesn’t have money to commission studies. There have been no injuries, as far as she’s aware, she said.

This just goes to show how stupid she is. She stands behind the ban in the name of safety and yet cannot even bring up a single incident where a patka/pug or any headdress for that matter has been dangerous for the individual. This whole ban reeks of racism and it's clear they don't want brown skinned types wearing a turban playing football.

  4. This forum has more posts concerned with Islam and Muslim domination than anything to do with our own community now....

Truthfully speaking just how much of this is a problem for Sikhs? Yes we had some issues with gangs here in the UK, which I might add is not a problem in Canada or the US, but on the whole it is a mute point. The Pakistanis went their own way back in 1947 and have had nothing do with us since.

In the same time we have seen the most brutal oppression launched on our community by the Indian state, with the Hindu majority either agreeing with it or silently spectating. We are barley a majority in our own ancestral land and we have now actually become the minority in major urban population areas such as Jalandhar and Chandigarh. The next time if an event on the scale of 84 happens, I fear our community could be literally wiped out. Look at our sex ratios! We have lost thousands of girls to abortions with this disgusting notion that a female will be a burden. Has anyone been back lately? I was shocked at how few young girls were running around playing in the streets. These girls are our future, future mothers, nation builders and more importantly will give birth to future Sikh generations. We have side issues of the fast depleting water table in Punjab, making our land one of the most deprive for water and with agricultural based economy you know what that means. Now think to yourself in he course of the next couple of decades (well within our lifetime) is our community even going to be around?

Brothers we are literally heading into the abyss, it's these issues we need to focus on.

  5. I have heard of several brothers telling me they have been looked at in a insulting manner, and the odd silly person shouting out an obscenity whilst driving past (how brave), but nothing serious, yet.

Walk tall, walk proud Sikhs, our masters have told us to defend righteousness. Your mere stride and confidence says a great deal about you and can ward off any potential attack.

  6. It's best to stand along the sidelines and care about our own. There is no need for any alliance with such types, regardless of their overtures to us. The whole thing is a deja vu of when the BNP were doing the same thing a decade ago . These guys need numbers and more importantly other minorities, in order to win credibility amongst the general population. Why do think the charity "Help for Heroes" turned their nose at them today?

As for racism and hate amongst them, it is rampant amongst them and not some conspiracy theory that people are out to spoil their name. Many of these guys came from groups such as C18, BNP, racist football firms largely due to the fact that the EDL is the new fad. There are people among them that are not hate inclined but they are a minority. Their Facebook page has a violent post every minute, although most it is directed at Muslims. One of them I believe is being charged for inciting a crowd to firebomb a mosque.

This enemy of our enemy is should not be our friend.

  7. With a general election coming up in a few years, expect opinions like these from the likes of Labour and even the Tories to fall conspicuously quiet, lest they offend potential voters from these communities.

It is sad how the average Pakistani who isn't up to any of this nonsense is tarred with the same brush. But it is kind of weird to expect such decent folk to go around policing their fellow countrymen.

You're right, in the sense that when these gangs have been up to their crimes they have been doing it in private e.g. hotel rooms, safe houses etc. Their families would have no idea and that's pretty much the case with any criminal i.e. they hide what they do from their loved ones and in this case the community.

But anyway I guess there is a silver lining in this that people will be more aware and anyone who potentially could commit a crime like this will now think very carefully about it.

  8. I understand the whole thing about educating people about Sikhs but as has been clearly stated this guy was in military intelligence! He clearly knew about Islam, probably had in-depth understanding of Sunni/Shia, as he served in Iraq. This could not have been mistaken identity.

He belonged to a hate group that considers anyone non-white subhuman. Maybe the Gurdwara was a softer target?

  9. Waheguru bless our shaheed who fell. I feel proud of the fact that our brother Satwant Singh (president) tackled the man and gave his life to save others.

It seems this savage belonged to a hate group who hated everyone. What's interesting is that this man was in involved with US military intelligence and had served in Iraq.

    More on the story.

  10. “They went inside the temple, locked the doors and switched the security cameras off.

“We had a caterer in charge of the breakfast. They ate all the food and then told him ‘go or we’ll kill you’.

    LOL!!!!!!! That is funny.

Anyhow not too fond of the tactics and the press story sound alarmist at best. But at least there is noise being made about these "mixed marriages".

  11. The brother just saw his little sister get married and now he has been killed! Waheguru bless his soul. I had tears run down my eyes as I heard his father talk about how loving his son was and how he promised to retire his father, as he was old now. He owned a garage and was well liked in the community.

As for what Genie said he is right. From the riots to daily street violence. The black community, in particular the Afro-Caribbean community the has failed to control their youth and sadly they literally run wild in many cities and are responsible for much of the street crime. The level of violence they are prepared to use is chilling and our community should be prepared. The brother even gave his key to them and yet they stabbed them.

THE wife of a Leicester man stabbed to death at his takeaway after a row over chicken has spoken of her devastation at losing her husband following the conviction of a 28-year-old man.

Sharn Devan Farrell stabbed father of one Jagjit Singh, 43, outside the Sea Salt Fish Bar, on Saffron Lane in November last year following a row over chicken.

Farrell, 28, was jailed for 25 years at Leicester Crown Court for the ‘premeditated attack’.

Jagjit’s grieving wife Lakbinder Sandhu said Farrell’s actions had robbed her family of a “loving husband and father.”

“In November 2010, my life was shattered when Jagjit was killed,” she said in a statement. “I felt devastated and my whole life was taken away from me. Jagjit was a loving husband and father. He was killed at our own business and this meant that everyday until I could sell the business it was a constant reminder that Jagjit was killed there. I had to sell the business at a loss, which does not bother me, what does is the loss of Jagjit that hits me every day.

“I could go on forever about what effect Jagjit being taken from me early has had but nothing can bring him back or change what has happened. I will now have to live without him for the rest of my life.”

The court was told Jagjit had been working at the Sea Salt Fish Bar, on Saffron Lane on the night of November 1st 2010 when Farrell entered the store with a young boy.

An argument ensued between Farrell and Jagjit over the amount of chicken he was served, and the argument spread onto the street.

Farrell left the scene with the child and returned to a house in Clifton Road, where he picked up a knife, before returning to the chip shop, along with the chid.

Once back at the scene Farrell continued the argument with Jagjit and stabbed him in the left side of his shoulder. The knife travelled through his lungs and heart chamber. Farrell then kicked and stamped on the victim, before leaving the scene.

Jagjit was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary, where he died from his injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Castle, who led the investigation team, described the killing as “premeditated” saying Farrell showed “intent” by returning to the Sea Salt Fish Bar with a knife.

“This whole incident was witnessed by a young child and the defendant clearly showed intent by returning to get a weapon and then going back to the scene to continue the argument. This was clearly a premeditated attack and the sentence clearly reflects that,” he said.

“Jagjit’s wife and son have been needlessly robbed of any kind of future with him. Although I know the verdict cannot compensate for what they have been through over the past nine months, and what they continue to go through each day, I hope in some small way it will offer them some closure and help them to move forward.

“I would like to thank Jagjit’s family for the help they have given us throughout the investigation. I would also like to thank members of the local community who came forward after the incident to tell us what they had seen. Without their help, the conviction may not have been possible.”

  13. People love to paint the EDL with the same brush as the BNP but this is incorrect.

The EDL having nothing against coloured people or even moderate muslims, they are VEHEMENTLY opposed to extremist Islam, just like many Hindus, Jews and Christians are.

Gurmit Singh, Amrit Singh, Elderly chap called Rajinder SIngh and a MUSLIM guy called Abdul from Scotland are ALL proud members of EDL.

There are more mosques in the UK than churches, the system is being bled dry by gross over population PREDOMINANTLY MUSLIM and these muslim communities having 10 kids and claiming benefits whilst not working, read last weeks Times whcih listed that 80 per cent of ALL the SOMALIS in UK live on HOUSING benefits, 49 per cent Turks and 43 per cent of all Pakistanis on HOUSING benefit

Can u BLAME the EDL, when the Muslims are bleeding the NHS and benefit system DRY whilst bombing and threatening and swearing at the indigenous people of this great country?

Dude I read the actual survey and you have some numbers wrong. I can tell you proudly that Sikhs have the highest rate of home ownership, then white british and then Pakistanis. The Pakis along with Indians, Sri Lankan's are the least likely to be on housing benefit.

    Here is the actual survey;

    http://www.migration...er/document/236

Indians at 14% and Pakis at 15%. But your assertion about the state of the other Muslim communities is true. Lol@ Somalians.....

  14. BritishPakistani I do applaud your courage for coming on here and representing your community. I'm sorry that you had to endure insults on here i.e. your prophet being called a nazi, your community is inbred.

As for the issues that have been discussed there are some real concerns that some of my brothers have put across well. However I do feel that some will never listen and hate your community. To be honest warm ties are possible but there has to be some clear boundaries and issues out in the open. By the way I know there are many decent people amongst your community, of which you are one. My father journeyed to Pakistan and encountered nothing but love and respect.
