fateh ji all u pajis are true but what we can do is that slowly take little bits of the gurdwara over as we know the men in the committee are very old we need to know where and how we are going to get the simple thigns like projecters and stuff. but before all this we do need to tell and ask the committe if we can a few evenings or mornings where the sikh children can come in and tell us thier ideas! fateh ji

fateh ji yes there is a great one being built it is costing millions it is in bulding stage should take two years but not to scale and there is one gurdwara in the town but it does not have enough facilites and space as the sikh of the town need it is costing in the region of millions!

fateh ji I have a very very very big respect for nihungs i know some of them and they are so chardi kala and thier way of life is amazing! the nihungs did help jathedhar baba Santa singh of the nihungs actually re-built the Akal Takhat but skhs knocked it down and built the Akal takhat agian with toilet tiles! so who ever says not to respect the nihungs i am agianst you totally the way in which the jathedar built the Akal Takhat was of which was in the Gurus times with phresco paintings and it was knocked down to make it built with toilet tiles! i can't belive it! the nihungs helped as much as they could they are in chardi kala and will stay in chardi kala! the beutifull Dassam Granth Writtenn by Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj u should read it! its great then listen to it sung in raags it is wikid bir rass! Youth Simran Program 6pm - 8pm Every Wednesday Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Showell Green Lane, Sparkhill (Old Site was Stratford Rd ) South Birmingham Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Aim: to bring the youth of Birmingham together to explore and develop their spirituality. The program has been running for over a year and a great number of people have benefitted from attending and doing sewa. Its an inspiring site to see so many youngsters outnumbering older generations at the Gurdwara...they are the future and this is a great opportunity to get involved in sewa and simran. If you're interested please come along and give the others support. Standard program: Kirtan class - 5-6pm Rehraas Sahib - 6-6.30pm Simran - 6.30-8pm Langar served throughout. This is a program organised by the youth for the youth. Try it...you never know it may provide great insight just being in sangat with people who are walking on the Guru's path. Its an opportunity not only to develop spiritually, but to create links with other youth around the Midlands and just get to know a little more about your roots.
