  1. WAHEGURUJIKAKHALSAWAHEGURUJIKIFATEH

i think that it is a combination of both 'W' and 'V'.  Its sort of like 'Wvaheguru'.  Its not a sharp 'V' sound, but sort of begins with a W and V sound together. I may be wrong, so i apologize before hand.

    makes sense

  2. o w8.. if sikhs were meatn to "back up" the hindus, why did we fight MOST of our batles against Hindu raja's During guru Ji's times?? grin.gif

and wot abt the frendship between bahadur shah and Guru ji, i hear that hindus stirred stuff between them.

if sikhs protected hindus why did a HINDU wazeer speak against the sahibzaade?? "the son of a snake is a snake".. he sed, i beleve.

and wot abt 84 - now. is that a "thank you" present for helping u lot?

SO either that teacher is lying or hindus r ungrateful pieces of (not alowed 2 swear blush.gif )

One more thing.. if hindus r same as sikhs, y dont the hindus becum amritdhari?? makes sense to turn towards the "newer version" of hinduism, hence being more modern. makes sense. but w8, they wont convert.. y?!

    maybe coz sikhs ARNT HINDUS!!!!

  3. hmm the last paragraph sorted it out tho grin.gif

Mr Singh, of Wellesley Road, Ilford, said while supporting the right of Muslim and Jewish communities to demand halal and kosher food for their children, he also expects children of other faiths to be given a choice based on religious needs.

  4. Compare combing your hair (or someone else's hair) with a plastic comb and a wooden kangha....

I remember when I started to keep rehat before I took amrit, i started using wooden kangha. I would like when my mum combed her hair with a plastic comb.

Her hair would become static and also looked weaker. She used wooden kangha after I gave her one after I took Amrit - she notice the difference. Hair looks healthier.

  6. Recently, the high court ruled that Sikhi and otehr minorly populatesd relgions (such as janism) is part of hinduism, therefore are under the Hindu mariage-walking-around-fire-wid-bhramin's-pockets-full-of-money-act.

But wait.. we dont do it around fire. wacko.gif Its funny how the judge was hindu as well.

  9. The Indian media has done a wonderful to make Indian people, both Sikhs and non-Sikhs believe that operation bluestar was right. To know the truth, read the following account by Ram Narayan Kumar (a south Indian Tamil Brahmin), an eminent social activist and journalist who (I heard this) is banned from entering India because he exposed the truth behind operation bluestar.

Anyways, here is the page: http://www.sikhreview.org/june2000/chronicle.htm

pure democracy  freedom of speech eh

  10. no.gif the story of typicals... In my opinion, they ave NO identity. Let me explain:

Sikh is someone who follows the Guru - Oh wait you cut your hair dance like a mad man/woman at parties

Punjabi is one who is punjabi - speaks punjabi for example. eg 1:"YEAH menu pata tusi WINDOW nahi OPEN keeta" .. eg 2: "MOM! me apne FRENDS naal OUTING tel challi!"

English - You WANT to be a gorri/gorra but hmmm w8 look at your skin colour. No matter how much distorted eng-punjabi u can speak doesnt make u a bleti.. u born from Punjab, yet you forgot ur background!

So, u'r not sikh, nor Punjabi (your origins) nitehr r u english (obviously).. SO WAT R U?! :umm: @

Yet these kdina people shout the loudest "PROUD TO BE PUNAJBI/SIKH" yet in their hearts they say "OO LETS PARTY LYK THE GORRE DO"

I pity them, they lost their past, messed up their present, and worse in the future..

    There ARE exceptions tho
