  1. .. or maybe not coz he threw his head into the harimandir sahib complex.. a memorial place is made where the head landed.

Let us not underestimate the power of NAAM.

Sukhmani sahib says, that with simran of waheguru, u can even live without breath..

    :)

Akal Purakh made us, that's the biggest miracle ever! How nature is sooo perfectly constructed, yet if something disagrees with our intelect we dont beleve it happened

    wacko.gif not good

  2. Your view that “...beacuse the other faiths prevalent at the time were completely devoid of the divine path” would be quite perplexing from a Sikh’s point of view. As per your view, Guru Tegh Baahadur died unnecessarily for Kashmiri Pundits who represented persecuted Hindus! Why didn’t Guru Tegh Bahadur simply told them the truth about Hinduism. Instead, He decided to risk and ultimately die, for a religion, that is useless! Why would he die protecting a religion, which was completely devoid of the divine path?

quite vvalid point, but you dont understand that GUru Ji would've died for ANY religion if it was inthe same situation as Hinduism was. The fact is, Guru Ji sacrificed his body for the freedom to practise their religion.

Guru Gobind Singh sacrificed his entire family in the course of a battle, not for the sins of the world. Soldiers, and the likes, all over the world, sacrifice their lives for country and their families. Martyrs are found in all societies and religions, but they do not remove and cannot forgive anyone’s sins.

We didnt say it does, its your christian brothers and sister that claim that when they talk about Jesus.

Jesus came to die for the sins of the world not to write a book
Yup there u go :) So Christians are allwed to commit sins? grin.gif So it implies that you dont HAVE to be good.. jsut be bad and wait for Jesus!

    Anywasy thats anotehr story..

Battle for what? Battle for Justice.. Freedom of DHARAM. They fought for DHARAM. not their own, not anyone else, jsut DHARAM.

PS: OO just foudna post mr. rajs made to back my post up!

The fundamental difference is that Jesus died for my sins to redeem me, rather than giving out instruction to, “kirat karo, wand chako and, naam jaapo.”

YUP ITS EVIL!!! HOW CAN WE BE GOOD!! NO WE SHOULD SIN!!!HOW DARE WE CARE FOR HUMANITY no.gif God save meeeeee :'(

    :@ @

  3. Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

    Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

I may expose my ignorance in this, but from what I remember, Guru Gobind Singh was always a separate jot from Guru Nanak. Now also what I know is what you said, that the Jot of Guru Nanak passed on from one Guru to the next until Guru Gobind Singh, who then blessed Guru Granth Sahib with it.

Well, you know how when we attain enligtenment, we are supposed to "merge" with the Jot of Waheguroo? It might be similar, in that the Jots of the Gurus merged together...

    Waheguroo jee ka Khalsa!

    Waheguroo jee kee Fateh!

In Bachitar Natak it also says that only the righteous people can see no difference between all the 10 Gurus...

As candle passes its fire to another candle, the jyot was passed on From 1 body to another.

  4. Still waiting to hear form rajs...

anyways, Christianity mentioned the WORD, so did Islam and other religions. But they FAILED.. yup FAILED to spread this word.

SIkhi is the only religion (maybe sikhi not even that) that was SUCCESSFUL in its mission.. in spreading NAAM, the WORD.

Ask a Christian, what is YAHWEH? No1 knows!! Yet bible mentions them.

    interesting..

Ask a Sikh about WAHEGURU.. even NON-Sikhs know!!!

:) Jesus tried, Guru Nanak Dev Ji succeeded

  5. PRABH KA SIMRAN SABH TE OOCHA

Simran is the highest deed.. From Guru Granth Sahib Ji

SABH SIKHAN KOH HUKAM HAI GURU MANIYO GRANTH

Every Sikh's ORDER to see Guru Granth Sahib Ji as a GURU, TEACHER... Guru Gobind Singh Ji

Now, tell me, y did u ask the question agen?

  6. Sri Guru Granth Sahib.  Only holy scripure to be written by it's founders(Sikh gurus).  All the other scriptures' followers are the ones who should be curious.  peace.

  7. Once agen.. comparing sikhi with other relgiions. Those hapened 2000+ years ago.. no more proof left.

300 years since Guru Gobind Singh Ji's existance.. thats NOTHING.

WE got all the proof.. just chek it out! All the places. wenever u feel doubt chek out shaheeds of 84 (only 20 yrs ago)

If Sikhi was a made up thing.. how could these Singhs be SO STRONG?!

It is time to use common sense and logic :)
