Why is our community so un-intellectual? There can be many replies from different points of views, but frankly speaking, I do not think we are so un-intellectual. Of course there are exceptions as usual, but on the whole, we are not, though it may appear so. Let us see, why? Because in comaprison with the rest of the world, we are more spiritual minded. It is by great Guru Jee´s grace, that we are spiritual minded. After all, what is it to be intellectual? Is it not to use the intellect in the right way to get benefits, goodness, being fair and just? Then how intellectual are others, who seem to be so, but in the end, loose their souls in the well of the cycle of 84? It is by utter grace of Guru and Gurbani, that we mould our lives to their Hukum, do not complain, and live with contentment. There is nothing more intellectual, to be and do right, and become one with the Highest, everything else is manmat = unintellectual Stay blessed. Sat sree Akal.

When I reached office, I got a call from my wife..."what is the date today?" .. ?????? I was wondering..then told her 28th June. call disconnected... I was wondering ( rather FRIGHTENED... ???)... her birthday?....... No ...mine............ No...(???) ......anniversary.......... no ....... son's birthday .......... no in laws' bday/anniversary.... no gas booking........ done utility payments........done Then?! Why date??? Lunch and evening tea went with spinning questions...????? reached home... Junior was playing in car park... Asked him.... how is the weather in kitchen? Tornado... tsunami??? Boy told " all normal. Why?" " your mom asked me..what is the date today in the morning?" Boy smiled and told me... "I tore some sheets from the calendar in the morning... she was confused.." ?????????? Being husband is a tough job. Dedicated to all husbands in the world!! ??

Verily true So brother as you say, Naam jap will free us from the 84 lacs, is just because, Nam Jap merges our surtee in Him, becoming one with Him, and just as He is beyond birth and death = Akal and ajoone, so do we become also, through His kirpa.. Sat Sree Akal.
