  1. Theirs to many sardars who have no problem finding girls who take all the excuses away from you guys

and its cause those sardars are true sardars, their ambitous in life which attracts women they take good care of themselves as in eat good and workout and they are very interesting people to be around which also attracts women

  2. Haha this is funny

But on serious side it is wrong.Do you think that cricketer monty Panesar ,despite his limited success had problem in finding a Girl.

Also Cricketer Harbhajan singh who keeps very thin beard but also wear patka is known as playboy of Indian cricket team.Infact once Yuvraj singh( clean shaven jat sikh cricketer) Described him as his love guru .Now Harbhajan is in Relationship with a UK born Hindu girl who is doing modeling ,rumours are their that they will marry next year.Any Girl Sikh, non sikh will love to be his wife irrespective whether he keeps beard or not

I thought Harbhajan girlfriend was sikh geeta basra

  3. This is false.

If Hari Singh Nalwa were alive today, he'd put his picture up on shaadi.com and every morning he'd check his email and read "SH4820702 has declined your interest".

No one would take the time to listen/read about how he got his nickname or what the Pathans think of him. The conversation would end right after it was clear he was a sardar.

lol ahhaah i don't think he would need a dating site to find a girl

but rather then excepting what needs to change sikhs would rather make excuses and take the easy route

  4. Correct me if am wrong but Sikhs who want to join the US army must cut their scalp hair and beard so i think your definitly not going to inspire Keshdarhi sikhs to join the army but you may inspire others.

Nope turbon sikhs are now allowed to serve in the us forces

I will be signing up once i turn 18, i just graduated high school but waiting to turn 18

My goal is to inspire sikhs in the west to join the army in their country's and my goal is to be a green beret by the time im 22 and use that accomplishment to inspire other sikhs

harjit-singh.pngVancouver, BC: Lt.Col. Harjit Singh Sajjan, has become the first Sikh in Canada to take command of a British Columbia regiment. In a historic ceremony, a change of command in the British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught’s Own) took place on September 11, 2011, at the Beatty Street Armoury in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Lt.-Col. Bruce Kadanoff relinquished command of the regiment to Lt.-Col. Harjit Singh Sajjan, who has taken over as Commanding Officer of the Regiment.

Lt.-Col. Harjit Singh joined the British Columbia Regiment as a Trooper in 1989 and was commissioned in the Regiment in 1991. He was promoted to Captain in 1995 and to Major in 2005. He has served in Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as three deployments to Afghanistan.

Established in 1883, the regiment is said to be the oldest military unit in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and has received forty battle honours in its history, and has been a formation of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps since 1942.

Lieutenant-Colonel Harjit Singh was born in Punjab and moved to Canada with his parents at the age of five . Lieutenant-Colonel Harjit Singh’s most recent deployment to Afghanistan was in November 2010 .

In the course of his deployments Lieutenant-Colonel Harjit Singh has been awarded a Mentioned-in-Dispatches, Commander in Chief Commendation, two Chief of Defence Staff Commendations and a US Army Commendation. He is also the recipient of the Deputy Minister’s (National Defence) Award.

Prior to joining army,Lieutenant-Colonel Harjit Singh remained a police officer for 11 years with the Vancouver Police Department. He completed his last assignment as a Detective specializing in organized crime in the Gang Crime Unit. He also spent five years as a certified Technical Search Specialist with Vancouver’s Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Team.

Father of two children,Harjit Singh is married to Kuljit Kaur, a medical physician, and they reside in Vancouver.

World Sikh organisation president who attended the Change of Command ceremony said, “this is a proud moment for all Canadian Sikhs. Lt. Col. Sajjan is an inspiration to young Sikhs and he shows just how much a part of Canada Sikhs are today.”

  6. reason girls look for clean shaving is cause the singh's today would disapoint the singhs 200 years ago

    out of shape

low self esteem complaining about girls only want clean shaven guys

listen why is it their are a few singh's that have women attracted to them and most singh's don't

cause only a few singh's are ambitous in every aspect of their life are in awsome shape and take care of themselves and are fun humble guys to be around and women feel safe around them

theirs a reason women are attracted to soldiers and firefighters, cause they feel safe around them and they see a sence of excitment with them

  7. looking at the history of sikhs theirs so many inspirational stories in how driven they were, but as time goes on their less and less sikhs who can conquere such great feats

as well purpose of this thread is why arn't sikhs fired up like they use to be, it can be in anything, instead sikhs make excuses, if the why and emotional drive is strong enough then people make things happen

also i have a thread up just for this what fires people up http://www.sikhsangat.com/Index.php?/topic/63344-what-are-some-things-that-motivate-you-guys-to-hit-your-goals/

i don't know to much about bhullar and his death sentence but if sikhs could come together with a fire for justice then we would just use democracy to our advantage by threatening politicans in punjab we will vote for who saves bhullar and end the careers of those who don't, but instead like said earlier another problem is sikhs are driven by greed and ego and are so selfish

you got to love how much emphasis is given in this speech about working together and team work
  8. Those arent Sikh countries are they though? Or ruled by Sikhs? Or governed by Sikh principles?

The Cuirassier regiment consisted of about 700 men and they all wore helmets. They were heavy cavalry so they had to wear full armour to protect them in the gritty fighting that they were accustomed too. The Osprey book on the Sikh Army has a very good image of a Khalsa Cuirassier, unforunately I cant find an image online.

those country's are sikh country's and many others countrys, uk canada america are home to sikhs and others hence it is our country along with others

these are country's that provide sikhs freedom and opportunity's

  9. Well I am reading this thread and I don't get your point properly.Sikhs do have motivation to move up and make money that's why we see The biggest craze of going outside India in Punjab.Sikhs all over the world have lot of wealth .The only factor is these days sikhs keep their religion on backburner which they didn't do 200 years ago.

As far sports and army are concerned I agree sikhs don't have spark because sports is very risky ,chance of success is very low

and army is not a well paid job

    to make it clearn

why dont sikhs have the motivation and drive they did 200 years ago

sikhs are extremely successfull economically but generation after generation were losing that motivation, look at punjab and the drug problem their while rest of india is pushing to become superpower

why don't sikhs have the same fire in them and why after each generation are they losing it

uk sikhs get bullied by pakis

america sikhs get bulled after 9/11

sikhs in athletics struggle and its not cause of the risk cause you can do well in school and athletics its all about motivation, but instead sikhs make excuses like its to risky stick to academics which proves their losing that fire

sikhs would run through walls to get what they want, today sikhs are losing that and have bin for couple generations

  10. What im trying to get at with this thread is that most sikhs don't have that fire in them like the sikhs did 200 years ago, were they have this hunger to fight and take torture

today a sikh gets called osama bin laden and they run in the other direction

people say its gurbani but if it were gurbani then why so many cowards today, why so many overweight sikhs

if we had that same fire we did 200 years ago heck we would dominate ever aspect of life military buisness education you name it

we were so highly motivated that we didn't feel pain

even in sports you look at excuses but you look at the fire sikhs had 200 years ago they never made excuses and got what they wanted
