  1. Justin Trudeau is too liberal for my liking; however, he's at least a respectful human being; as right-wing as I may be; I'd prefer him being president over Donald John Trump, (he's better than the actual Canadian running for president of the U.S.)

He respects all minorities alike including Sikhs which is why ' Sikhs' like him.

-Anyone who doesn't like this person, can't be a Sikh for sure.

  2. If someone has a different opinion to what the leftist liberals have, call them racist, bigot, misogynist, a islamophobe, a anti-sikh, accuse them being a sikhiphobe. Or on a forum claim they are attacking you and then call for them to be banned.

Liberals although claim to be tolerant are anything but. They are only tolerant if you hold their same views. Quantavius is not being disrespectful but does not hold the same progressive views as jacfsing2 may and other like minded liberals.

This forum is not your safe space, its a place to share ideas, discuss things relating with sikhi. If you get hurt from differing opinions that you dont like then god help you in the real world. These very same progressives have probably never taken a belna hit from their mothers. Stop being a mommy's booy

At times there will be views you may not like but have the decency to "agree to disagree".

I am still not sure your purpose of joining SikhSangat. Let us know your mission statement.

  3. That is not the same as 'feeling things'. Plants don't register emotions, or pain (the things that are meant by feelings), they just react to stimuli. It is so distant a comparison, and so basic a process (comparatively), that it does not merit nehkeval's original comparison to animals.

    Read previous comment above

  4. I don't think that's specific to kids, although kids do need to be 'taught' things. But everyone would be vegetarian if they 'thought' about where their food comes from.

Trouble is, people like to create a distance between the source and how their food (meat) ended up on the supermarket shelf and ultimately their dinner plate. They like to imagine Walmart has this wonderfully clean state of the art laboratory where meat is magically manufactured and packaged ready to be shipped off to the supermarket shelf. In truth though they know where it actually comes from but because they don't like to think about it they like to create a massive distance whereby someone else does the killing and butchering....out of sight, out of mind. You have to question then, the value in eating something that makes one feel so uncomfortable that you need someone else to get their hands dirty on your behalf in order to source it for you...out of sight, out of mind.

But, the reality is that 30 years from now our children will be having this exact same discussion about the way we (their mothers and fathers) drank milk. i.e the way we closed our eyes and pretended we just didn't see or know about the extreme cruelty involved in sourcing that milk. As everyone knows, the animals such as the one in the picture above, that get slaughtered, are the lucky ones. The ones that have to suffer endless perpetual cruelty (no doubt wishing they would be slaughtered and their suffering ended) are the ones that have to provide you with that glass of milk.

The post was specifically in accordance to the pic in the op. Generally, small kids are more compassionate in comparison to kids in older ages such teenage.

  5. Thats your opinion and I think i am being attacked just because I have a different minority opinion. and when i drop truth bombs some of you dont like it.

Some of you need to eat less daal and more saag with makki di roti. Daals have high phytoestrogens, look it up

You can't get away with your attacks.

Why do you think I was describing you when I was mentioning non-sikh intriguing actions.

  6. I never thought I would agree with you on something. Moslims need to stop getting hurt when someone suggest their religion is a fascist cult of hate. Criticism of islam should be allowed. This is the very thing moslims are trying to get banned in western nations by moslim group pressure. Silencing people who have converns about islam is a banning the first amendment.

I think there are a bunch of coward sikhs, that have never been to a gym, learnt martial arts. that are too coward to face a bunch of angry white man that might hit them. You have got to learn to fight back instead of being insecure.

    oops too much multi quote

I think you are asking yourself to be banned from this site. You are personally attacking everyone behind the mask.

  7. Nobody hates Muslims, criticizing the ideology doesn't mean you criticize the people, I have openly criticized the ideology of Christianity on this forum, yet I don't hate Christians as a people. (Let's stop stereotypes that every Muslim or Christian truly follows all the crazy stuff that's in their Qur'an and Bible).

I think we should acknowledge the fact that there are bunch who fiercely throw their pov while pretending to be Sikhs - which is disgusting tbh.

  8. He said he is for supporting minority rights clearly in video. Like I said previously only victim mentality and self hate is making punjabis think Trump and right is against them. Salute to Lt Murphy.

It's the hippy "Sikh" orgs that always bend to islamist apologist propaganda that spread fearmongering and victim mentality. Saying that I'm still pretty liberal myself but I would like to think I'm independent in my thinking.

If Hillary is the nominee I am actually probably going to change my vote to Trump unless it's Bernie.

No he did not. He said (after he was reminded the other part of the question towards the end) he would like to?? but this (banning certain sect into the country) needs to be done first and is more important.

You are free to vote whoever you want to but I need to warn you to mind your words 'Mister'.

Even a child can conclude from the video that he did not intend to answer the simple question put forward by the brave police officer.
