  1. When I was in high school, I remember this one guy with a Pagh, he would sometimes smoke with his friends. I think most guys who wear a Pagh do it to fit in with the crowd. They do it because they don't want to appear as different from the Monay Sikhs.

  2. I don't know about Freemasonry attack on Sikh Panth is true or not. But attacks on Sikh Panth is happening since 1849.

1.Right after the fall of the Sikh of the Sikh state in 1849, when Sikhi asools were declining amongst the Sikhs, Baba Ram Singh Jee tried to bring Sikhs back to the basics of Gurmat. But the British decided to put a stop to this and finished his real mission and installed a dehdhari Guru to rule over the Namdharis.

    2. Then when Singh Sabha movement happened trying to revive Sikhi asools amongst the Sikhs, the British supported the Sikh Snaatanists as a counter measure to curb the rising influence of the Singh Sabha Lahore. Thankfully Singh Sabha won against the british Backed Snaatanists of Khem Singh Bedi,

3.Then next attack on the Sikhs was through the Mahant Sanaatanist controlled Gurdwaras all over Punjab who were bringing in Bipran asools in place of Sikh asools in addition to also hasasing Sikh women who would go the Gurdwaras and also openly discriminate against the so called low castes. That is when Guru Jee blessed the Panth and started the AKali movement which liberated Gurdwaras all over Punjab against overwhelming opposition of the Mahants who were backed by the British and it's army.

4.When it was time for the British to leave, the once great Shiromoni Akali Dal was infiltrated by traitors who did everything to prevent Sikhs from getting their own independent homeland. After 1947 the list of Sikh traitors and betrayals is so long that you can write books.

    5. But the most recent attack on the Panth is by the Kala Afghanis who are in reality created by the GOI to infiltrate the Panth and create divisions and prevent Sikhs from focusing on the real issues of the Panth like getting justice for 1984 and subsiquent massacres, doing prachar of Gurmat amongst Sikhs and non Sikhs. Just as Sikhs overcame the Snanatanists during the Singh Sabha and Akali movement so shall we triumph over the new threat of the Kala Afghanis.

  3. I have seen another warrior race, the Chechen Sufis, in their zikrs of "Allah" and "La ilaha ell Allah" become totally enveloped and immersed in the Love of the Lord - http://www.youtube.c...h?v=jWj8i65emMY. These Singhs are reciting VaheGuroo and have gone to a next stage of ecstasy. MrSinghs I think there is something sinister in your post, as if you have an axe to grind. Why not put in the time and effort to meditate on VaheGuroo, Allah, Raam, Hari or any mantar to see where it leads you, and you may find yourself a happier and more content soul rather than the bitter and conceited one you are now.

Chechens are one of the fiercest of warrior people in the world. From what I have seen from other Qaums is that the people that get Mast during Bhagti usually get the most violent when push comes to shove.

  4. I know that from the video it look weird. But I have seen similar stuff happening at AKJ smagams, and I'm not against that either. The way I see it is, if a Sikh enter into Sikhi through AKJ, Tarmala group, DDT, Akal Takht, Nanaksar, Nihang it's all good just as long as they beleive in the basics such as Nitnem (7 Banis), Amritvela, 5 Kakkars, Naam Japnaa. But if any group does not beleive in the strict keeping of Nitnem (7 Banis), Amritvela, 5 Kakkars, Naam Japnaa and avoids any of these (must) Sikh principles then that group should be avoided.

  5. No normal person can tell what will happen or what to expect in 50 years. Could Sikhs have thought in 1800 that 50 years from now they would become Ghulams of the British? in 1900 could Sikhs have imagined that in 1947 partition of Punjab would happen evicting 45% of the Sikhs from their lands. In 1947 when Sikh leaders made the mistake of trusting the words of Nehru and Gandhi could they have imagined the betrayal and eventual Sikh bloodshed in 1984?

Best thing is to focus on the present. Do so much Bhagti that you should not have to retake birth again and come back to this sorrowful world. Give your children traditional Sikh values like love for Gurmat, Gurbani, respect for elders and Panth. Teach them to also be pious and chaste having high moral character. If just all the Amritdhari Sikhs were to do this then you will have succeeded in your life.

Also the trend of the last 60 years of the Sikhs having one of the lowest birth rate in India does not help the Panth either. Muslims and Hindus have a higher birth rate then Sikhs. They are increasing in numbers while we are not. I seriously think that Amritdharis and Monas who are genuinely concearned for the well being of the Sikh Panth should think collectively to have a higher birthrate. Atleast 3 children to insure our growth. I for one will do my part and have a large Sikh family.

  6. What is comes down to is that there is really no use blaming the Muslims. We need to come to grips with our own faults first then point the fingers at others. Firstly, if our Sikh girls see nothing wrong with going out with Muslim men, then there is a serious problem with their thinking/mindset which comes from one's upbringing.

All is still not lost. We as a community need to teach indoctrinate or brainwash our children since childhood that marrying out is not an option. Going out with non Sikhs is not an option. Give them traditional values. Traditional values is not doing Bhagra or Giddha and partying as we are mostly doing. Traditional values are promotion of modesty and chastity amongst our girls, respect for elders. Teach them about Gurmat and how Gurmat is the greatest of all religions. Teach them the examples of the mothers, sisters and daughters of the Guru's household as ideal examples of Sikh womanhood.

Look at what Muslims do. They teach there girls to be chaste and modest. They teach them to care about the family and the Umma. They teach them to follow the examples set by the Muslim women relating to Prophet Mohammad. As a result you will mostly see Muslim women being chaste, modest, feminine and religious. Muslim women have the concept of Sharam while Sikh girls do not.

  7. LOL at the Muslim Panthers being interviewed with the lights out, and the sole Panjabi guy staring down the camera in daylight. :lol2:

That may be funny for that time because that was 25 years ago when Sikhs were strong and Muslims were weaker. But look at today, it is Sikhs who will wear masks on you tube videos saying big words and Muslims on the other hand are fearless. They will no longer wear masks or cover their faces. Sikhs again need to become fearless. Sikhs need to be strong (mentally and physically).

  8. I'm not saying either. What I will say though is that muslims are not occupying my land......killing my people. When I have a foreign nation in my land....ruling over my land.....I have no time to pick meaningless quarrels with others that have done no wrong to me. My fight.....and only fight.....is with my slave masters. It is no co-incidence that it is the supporters of my slave masters that try to instigate ill-feeling and conflict between Sikhs and pakistanis. It is in their interest to do so. I play no part in it. I don't dance to my slave masters tune.

Is west Punjab not our land? where was Sikhi born? answer: Nankana Sahib. Where were most of the lands located in the Sikh state of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, answer: in Pakistan. Before partition 45%(that's almost half) of the Sikh population was located in West Punjab, but they were ethnically cleansed permanently. 1947 was ten times more bloody than 1984 in terms of Sikh lives lost. At one place you are saying not all Pakis are bad(which I agree with btw), but at the same time you say all Hindus are bad? does that make sense to you?

  9. on a similar note check this vid of shere punjab

its mad this was going on in the 80s if we done something more than we wouldnt be where we r today.

Also check the so called sikh bibhiyas attitude these are our auntia today VaheGurooo

Interesting video. Lets admit it. Most of our girls have loose moral character. Once we admit to the problem, we can work on the solution. In 1947 our women/girls were jumping in wells to save their honour from being disgraced at the hands of Muslims and now Sikh girls are voluntarily going out with Sullahs and saying "what's wrong with that?".

  10. What is it about Sikhi - or more accurately, what is it about people's perception of Sikhi - that makes even Sikhs not take it seriously? Reading things like this is just depressing.

The common belief amongst most Sikhs have that all religions are equal is exactly the reason why this is happening to our community. No other religious community says that all religions are equals. Only Sikhs say this. As a result this stupid baseless belief has left a deep imprint in our mindset. Think about it logically, If all religions are equal then what is the use of being a Sikh over let's say Muslim, Christian, Hindu or Buddhist?

I for one will be a Sikh who will teach my children that Sikhi is the greatest of all religions and has no equal and that "Sabb te Vadda satgur Nanak"(Guru Nanak is the greatest).

  11. I know a Kala Afghani. We were debating on various subjects. Then he told me that Baba Hari Singh Jee Randhawe wale was to debate with Ragi Darshan Lal. But Baba Hari Singh Jee was so scared that he ran away before the debate could start (his words not mine). To me, that didn't sound right because Baba Hari Singh Jee is a very knowledgeable Sikh where as Ragi Darshan Lal is a fake professor and has repeatedly shown his lack of knowledge of Shree Dasam Granth. So what really happened?

  12. yubacitysingh

    You haven't answered my scenario.

Here it is again incase you have missed it.

You are walking, you are shouted from across the road by some racist thugs. They are challenging you to a fight. You are smart, you will walk away because you see there are 6 of them and you are only 1. Some others walking, see the commotion and they decide to assist you in fighting these racist thugs.

    What do you do?

Can you answer? with your knowledge of boxing and other martial arts.

  13. If you want to learn a martial art that is effective in the real world, then I would suggest you learn Judo, Muay Thai. If you mix both Judo and Muay thai they become a very deadly combination. Plus learn Krav Maga. This is also a very effective martial arts for practical situations. Boxing should also be learned since not everyone knows how to punch properly. A proper punch itself is a highly technical move. I've seen how a boxer kicked(boxed!) this guy's as$ in a real fight.

As for those "dangerous martial arts" like Kali, Ninjutsu etc. If you want to learn them go ahead, but only keep them as far as weapons training. They are not much practical for unarmed combat as Judo, Muay Thai or Krav Maga is.

  14. What I don't understand is, why is Niddar Singh the only person the whole wide world to know his secretive martial art? did his so called teacher not teach anyone else during his whole life?

The truth is, Niddar Singh made up the whole thing. As for the story of the British banning SV/Chatka Gatka, this is the exact story copied from the story of the South Indian martial art known as Kalari.

  15. SV of Niddar is a huge LIE! Niddar used to learn Kung Fu when he was younger. Then he mixed other martial arts that he learned along the way and formed his own style. He came up with a BS story about how the British banned SV. Fistly even the term SV is a recent invention by Niddar. Originally he called it "Jhatka Gatka". But when he realised how dumb that sounded he changed it to Shastar Vidya after he saw Giani Gian Singh mentioning the term in his book. It was easy for him to fool gullible western kids with his mythological harry potter type story. But you can't fool someone with the term SV who has read books in Punjabi and Hindi and knows how common this term is used to describe any form of martial arts. Even modern military training can be classified as "Shastar Vidya".
