  1. I thought everything was made of atoms. I tried searching for this on the internet but I couldn't find any answers. If the number is used so much, then it must have some significance? Or maybe it was just Guru ji's favorite number?
  2. SSA, In Sikhism, we have 5 kakaars, 5 takhts, 5 gunas, 5 banis, and 5 pyaare. Why is this number used so much? Does it have any significance? I thought it might have something to do with Punjab being the land of 5 rivers, or maybe because we have 5 digits on our hands and feet, and 5 senses. Therefore, it is a unique number in regards to our placement in the animal kingdom. Anybody have any ideas?
  3. A vote for Akali Dal is a vote for BJP. They are best friends.
  4. Open the topic of bhang, I heard it was used by Sikhs when they were living in the jungles because it helps to digest rough foods. Also, it was given to Sikhs as prashaad before battle, so it would make them frenzied and they wouldn't feel pain. That's why the nihangs of hazoor sahib still make bhang prashaad. They say it is because they are always reay for battle.
  5. Can somebody PLEASE put a bullet in Badal's head already. It's long overdue.
  6. Some posters have stated that Badal should not be blamed, but rather the dirty Indian political system. Don't hate the player, hate the game? If this is the case, then we shouldn't award such titles to any politician. We cannot excuse wrongdoings just because it is the nature of a person's work. That doesn't make it okay. Doesn't anyone remember how Badal rigged the SGPC elections? How he registered moneh, and non-Sikhs from his villiage to vote? That is the highest form of sacrilege. Also, he is too cozy with the BJP. Remember how they made the Akal Takht change the Nanakshahi calender to fit with the Hindu Vedic calender? He even invited Advani, who praised Operation Bluestar, to Amritsar to hold a rally. When Sikhs protested, they were beaten and their turbans removed. Does this entitle him to Fakhr-e-Quam?
