There's quite a bit of crazy stuff written on this forum, this is probably why this site is down sometimes.
But I agree the OP, the future is not looking good at the moment

It's not even about religion anymore. Most of us are trying to survive out here in the West.
Myself dont care for Sikhi as much as I use to. Everything is in waheguru ji's hand whether or we will survive in the coming years.

Throughout history we have been tested and tried. We remained steadfast and resiliant. The events that took place in Punjab and outside of Punjab in the past years made it quite clear we are big players in the game which kept the world powers on edge. It started off with the drug pandemic in Punjab, to the uproar by Bhai Amritpal Singh to the Farmer's protest.
Outside of Punjab the deaths of Avtar Singh Khanda (UK) and Hardeep Singh Nijjar (Canada) created a stir within our community. This was probably our first real opportunity to establish something but how quickly members of our own community forget history. We have been a threat to civilization in the past and this is probably what the world powers are concerned about. However, may we continue grow and learn through Gurbani and like Jaswant Singh Khalra said: 'May the spirit of equal rights Punjab continue to kindle'.

If a kps gill or brar or a swarn ghotna didn't step forward, the state can use a non sikh face to its bidding. They just prefer to put a sikh face to their genocide. The power is behind the mask. The mask is powerless in itself.
Interesting. Putting your faith first in todays world is not the easiest thing to do. Scary sometimes when you look what our own people did in the 80's (i.e. torture, kidnappings).
But me personally I don't think our own people are capable of seeing their own kind get tortured. We are bigger than that.
$h*T got out of control when other communities got involved during the 80's. That's all I'm going to say.

The Western rule is all based on lies. At least the muslims have the guts to make a noise but still stupid if you ask me.
For example, what did Hamas expect from launching rockets to a power house country like Israel?
Sometimes you question Khalsa Raj. Our own people are in on this rule full of lies-with the Brits being the victors.

This may be off topic but look what has happened here in Canada. We had all these Khalistan posters everywhere and when Bhai Hardeep S. Nijjar got shot everybody is quiet.
Our people that were advocating for this got even more quiet when the Canadian Government got involved.
To me this is an agenda with our people working with Indian officials to keep ppl like myself quiet/confused.
And why would they do this? Ranjeet01 explained it pretty well in this topic.

Overall Idk i dont support neither Islamism nor Jews (they are no saints) used to admire Jews (credit how they achieved after holocaust Sikhs could learn) but the way they victimise themselves play holocaust card. Too much geopolitics
There are too many misconceptions when it comes to WW2. I wouldn't believe 100% what they wrote in the history books. Infact, I don't even think they teach WW2 history in school.

Look what's going on right now. India supporting Israel? Is this b/c majority Hindu-India don't get along with the Muslims?
Wasn't the Gaddar party comprised of Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs? Wasn't this is solidarity for all the British did?

The real issue here is India. The Indian regime could have fallen through diplomacy.
They sponsored agents on foreign soil to take out a Canadian citizen. There may be points to concur Hardeep Singh's legitimacy but a democratic government hiring agents for an assassination is absurd.
You can say India got kind lucky by the media attention being diverted to this Israel-Gaza conflict.

So your saying all the Punjabis that stood up in the 80's (in Punjab) refrained from alcohol, meat and nashay?

So we find out who killed Hardeep Singh Nijjar. What we are going to do about it?
Me personally I try to avoid the whole Khalistan fiasco since religion and politics get mixed. That's a messy situation to be in.

I firmly believe that one quote in regards to cannabis is not written by Guru Nanak Dev Ji (O'lord the fear of thee). B/c nasha is nasha. But cannabis is a bit a different since it was used for medicinal purposes in India also.

i know i understand this sentiment but at the same time this mentality just because others have it worse so I cant be depressed is wrong.
What if you grew up in difficult surrounding/family. What if you were abused/hurt/betrayed ? You lose faith have little hope can go into downward spiral because you thought by praying everything will disappear. All problems will be solved it doesn't.
You have to have some self will too. Praying doesn't simply solve your problems.
Our Guru's gifted us with Naam for support. Now it's up to us on how we are going to use it as support.
In my opinion I don't think any ordinary person can conquer their minds. We try to be perfect but at the same time we tend to forget we are human.
And of course letting go of the past in not easy. But remember this is the challenge-to remain in the present.
So do your thing. No pressure.

I think regardless gender there are women who take their lives while having families, new-borns etc. I've been there.. its a black hole..
But you make a point for Singhs /males in general ...
i think every soul is dukhi one way or another
Being true to yourself and who you are will always be difficult. We have our Guru to lead us the way.
Your correct every soul is dukhi but we tend forget we are blessed.

This is quite sad and my condolences to his family.
What I'm trying to say is the woman tend to overlook/judge very easily when it comes to the males, especially the Singh's.
Holding it down in the world is not easy. The females don't seem to appreciate it and are probably confused as to why would someone still want to represent himself as a Singh when he is struggling in life. That's all I'm going to tell you.

Being a proper gentlemen is not an easy task in today's society especially when have females that are acting up/out of hand these days.

Yeah. Totally.
I mean, to the average lurker on this board, it usually just seems like "Oh, there's Dally complaining again about some random 'landlord' who dissed him 10 years ago."
And yet this excerpt from Panth Prakash vindicates a lot of what you have been saying: Sikhs have small minds. They would rather fight about the dividing line of their 5 acres of land and the neighbor's 5 acres rather than getting a few square miles elsewhere.
It also portrays the fact that the Sikhs are stupid and they don't do what Guru ji wants. And they refuse to accept the blessings Guru ji wants to bestow.
The small-minded ones are the chamche.
Most of the rest living outside of India are living with crushed hope and dreams...frankly.

Don't think twice that everyone is mentally sound in today's day and age. We are a little crazy. Psychosis is just a word to describe a person's mental well being.
Some are fortunate than others while others will have to struggle. Its Waheguru Ji's hukam you can say.
Be thankful you found someone to settle down with. Learn from that person and you will probably be surprised.

Who knows what the future brings...for 1000s of years the jews didn't have a land in the middle east..they left the area..then along comes a Austrian bloke with a moustache, persecutes loads of them and then they end up with a homeland in the middle east.
Kaljug is over 100k years. The depletion of sikhi from the Panjab has only accelerated since partition <100yrs . There's still plenty of time for a homeland and sikhi to thrive again in those parts or globally
There's controversy surrounding this subject. Some say he was warning the world when it came to some Jews which ended up in him getting the 'blame' in killing Jews. While majority of us say he was responsible for the holocaust.
Both Britain and Germany were involved in Indian affairs when it came WW2.
But history is history. I just hate the fact that some European countries cover <banned word filter activated> up. Guess its true the winners always have the last say.

The current conflict (w/ Iran getting involved) is being orchestrated by a 3rd party in my opinion. We all are going to blame the Jewish community (how they run the banks, how they are brutal and etc.) but they have a point in this conflict.
As soon as people start finding about the truth that's when the real movement will begin.
