Gobind Gita is a great composition found in some old Dasam Granth Sarups. It is present in an old Dasam Granth Sarup at Patna Sahib whose scribe was Baba Deep Singh ji. To do katha of Gobind gita is not a single person's job. It needs a team. Some persons in the team shud be trained in gurmat and some to be trained in krishan's gita like nirmalas are. Pingalwara are also doing natural farming in punjab successfully. They say that only 10% of organisms are harmful to crop. Rest 90% of organisms are actually helpfull. But when we use pesticides we kill even helpful organisms and disturb natural biological processes.

Our sikh boys don't read much Punjabi literature. Even I didn't read much Punjabi literature. Only after coming into sikhi, I read Punjabi sikhi literature. Everyone in Punjab want their kids to study in big schools and learn English.

I don't want to name the jatha and samparda here as I don't want to create troubles between Singhs. But I was told by a bazurg Singh that they are secretly storing weapons somewhere. There is lots of distrust between organizations.

Veerji Very nice information. From what I hv talked with jaats, they were really impressed by medical facilities they received at kisan andolan. May be diaspora Sikhs can fund a mobile medical team which can go to villages in haryana and help people with medical treatment, medical tests and medicines. This will bring affection in the hearts of jaats for Sikhs. Affection is a very strong tool to win people to your side. Ideally, this medical team shud be of practicinh knowledgeable Sikhs who also believe in 'sarab rog ka aukhad NAAM". We don't need fuddu leftist doctors who say that religion is secondary and it's more important to be a good human being. Medical facilities in rural India are terribly bad. We can send these mobile medical teams of practicing Sikhs not just in haryana but whole of india. Its a mode of sikhi parchar as well as helping humanity.

This is the problem with vegetarian Sikhs of today. If you show them some evidence that meat was touched or even eaten by Singhs in the past, they will totally ignore it and even try to do some insult of the person showing evidence. With such an attitude for fellow Sikhs, no doubt we might physically attack each other in future. I see it coming. I hv been told by a Singh of a jatha that they are secretly storing weapons for a future clash with another samparda.

Just to add 1 more thing. In the area around my farm,Punjabis of which many are vegetarian are quite prosperous and hv electric wire fence or sharp wire fence around their farm to stop animals from spoiling their crop. This wire hurts many animals. So vegetarians being compassionate to animals is a myth. Vegetarian farmers do so much spray on their crop and kill not only pests but billions of Non harmful organisms. If vegetarian farmers are given freedom, they will cut whatever forest they see and increase their agricultural land and become big sardaars. Cutting a forest results in death of millions of organisms and animals and for many animals it's a terrible death.

Horse is herbivorous and is most kaami. Lion is carnivorous and is least kaami.

We hv almost zero forest cover in punjab. Our future generations will pay the price for it. Even Rajasthan a desert has more forest cover. Had Sikhs been doing shikaar, we would have had much greater forest cover in punjab. Plus Sikhs would hv been much better trained in using guns and weapons and would not hv been beaten up by shiv Sena gundaas or ram rahim chellaas.

Nice points! McDonald's and KFC is terrible. There is another dimension to hunting animals. Western Sikhs haven't experienced hunger and poverty. I live in punjab but hv my agricultural farm in UP near Nepal border. There is a lot of forest area there. Poor Hindus and Muslims there struggle for 2 meals a day. Muslims do hunting to provide adequate food for their family. Even vegetarian Hindus hv started to hunt and their kids get good food and are healthier and stronger. Its easy for vegetarian Sikhs to sit in a comfortable house and talk about vegetarianism. Real world is different. Hunger is still a big issue for millions and millions of people.
