Eco village can use renewable electricity and can have couple of laptops with a Facebook page. It can also use modern natural farming techniques like permaculture. So eco village doesn't mean you totally ignore modern scientific know how or technology.

In India many poor small farmers still do bull farming. In nihang chaunnis, u will find horses,cows,buffalos, goats and qazi(chicken). I even saw a camel at a nihang gurdwara in Uttar Pradesh.

Nihangs are respected as Guru ki laadli fauj. At some of their places, majbis are given separate amrit. It's very wrong and shud be corrected. But that doesn't mean nihangs are useless.

It's very wrong. Khalsa panth and Akal Takht shud do something about it. As I said before, there are issues within jatt community that shud be resolved.

All sikh communities and castes have caste affinity within them. Non spiritual jatts hv strong caste affinity which is wrong. Simran vale jatts hv lesser caste affinity within them. But do all jatts don't bow their head before Bhagat Kabir ji and Ravidas ji ? Do jatts stop non jatts from getting amrit chakk in the gurdwaras under their control? There are weaknesses in jatt community but to call them evil or useless is a wrong statement.

Yes All one has to do is go to punj pyaare, get True Naam from them, meditate on True Naam, listen to Gurbani and reach Sachkhand.

Lots of bad written about jatts here. Lots of fuddu and gaddaar jatts roaming around, no doubt but such people are in every community. Indian agencies are much more worried about monnaa jatts than kesadhari bhappaas etc. Very poor parchar happening in our pinds. If a true Saint like Sant Bhindranwale comes again, jatts will stop cutting hair and will fight for the panth.

I m from jatt community and from my experience, shehari jatts hv good relations with their pendu relatives. Plus all pinds are not the same. Some are near to tehsils or district towns and enjoy pretty much city lifestyle. I hv pendu relatives who buy Verka etc packaged milk and don't hv any dangars. Their kids study in schools like DPS about 15-20 km from their pind.

I think he is greedy and coward. He is nowhere near a saint. Sikhs have dhur ki Bani. Sikhs don't need yoga for spiritual elevation. Sikhs have given up rehit and simran of the True Naam ie. Waheguru and that's why Sikhs run after much inferior religious schools of thought. Plz note: yoga is not a medicinal school of thought but is a religious school of thought and is one of the 6 shaastras of Hinduism. I respect Nihang Singhs a lot but some of them equate yoga with ayurveda. Ayurveda is medicinal school of thought. Yoga is religious school of thought.

I hv had bad experiences with north Indian religious Hindus. I hv had good experiences with religious hindus from south India. Obviously, that doesn't mean all north Indian Hindus are bad and all south Indian Hindus are good. Relatively, I find south Indians much better than north Indians.

I have not had much interaction with Maratha or Bengalis but just as south Indians are very proud of their mother tongue and culture, same is true for Maratha and Bengalis. My point is that hindus are not that bad as some khalistani brothers show them to be. Striving for khalistan is our right and is a good thing to do but we shud not hate Hindus and we shud do sikhi parchar on them.

We shud not make fun of somebody's way of speaking or eating. South Indians haven't copied the western culture as north Indians have done. North India is full of rapes happening daily. In south India, woman is respected much better. Even in night buses, u will find woman conducters and people will call her 'ammaa' which means mother.

People r using pesticides like crazy. PAU Ludhiana scientists are advising to use less pesticides and after some time even organic or natural farming is possible. A lawyer turned farmer is doing natural farming in punjab successfully. We can take his help to do natural farming in our eco village in punjab. No One gives a damn about climate or environment. In punjab we used to have good winter season which has greatly reduced now.

One of my friends is into solar panel business. They have solar panel system in their house and the punjab govt. buys the extra solar electricity from them. Some people are also using solar geysers. But unfortunately, very few people are taking advantage of the Great potential of solar energy. We can easily have an eco village in punjab run totally on solar energy.
