  1. Baba Ramdev dev anilom vanilom, I haven't tried it but have heard

another tip I heard from some desi doctor on tv that every morning put your own saliva on the eye-line like "surma", it might take some years depending on for how long you had glasses on, haven't tried either.

  2. WJKK WJKF

Daas is amritdhari and at work we are having many events at pubs for christmas get together. I am getting much pressure to attend these events as my work says they are for professional development to spend time with coworkers. I don't want to single myself and make a big deal why I can't go, but i am also wondering if it is wrong for me to go? It doesn't feel right to go...

I go to restaurants all the time, but pub seems like its more dedicated to alcohol/beer...

Any input in how to deal with these situations...

same situation, I never attend.....I went once long time ago, that was just watching others drink and drunken dancing..food mostly non-veg.....then they ask you to dance with them......too much to take..........just tell them you are not a party goer....

  3. I was reading "Harmander Darshan" by Dr. Saroop Singh Alag, where he beautifully explained in couple of lines, why "Harmander Sahib" is called "Harmander Sahib". He says, where there is hanuman moorti/idol, it's called Hanuman Mander, if they have shiv moorti, it's called Shiv mander, so and so. But Sri Harmander Sahib is the house of Hari - hareya hoeya, saareyan nu hareya karan wala, har tha vasan wala, har-ik di paalna/daya karan wala, har-ik de layi khula, thats why its called "Harmander Sahib".

The writer has also shared real-life stories of the sikhs and non-sikhs having amazing spiritual experiences in Harmander Sahib. I'll try to post them in short as I read along.

  4. 1. Apart from Hindu caste, Vashno also means vegetarian in punjabi. e.g. some people say "ansi vashno vyaah karna", means totally vegetarian wedding.

    2. I don't think eating no meat can effect the growth. Our Guru sahiban, singh shaehehs, mahapurkhs, gursikh, sikh-sangat never eat meat. It's just you have to take special care of your veg-diet, takiing all the required nutrients and vitamins that body needs.

    3. Egg is not allowed because it is further to give birth to a chicken, and by not giving that opportunity, its like killing it. It's like an abortion. Apart from this, eggs has many side-effects, google it. Hope this makes sense.

  5. Would he still think the same if all these blessings come to an end, what if his wife dies, children get loss in business or personal life, he himself get some desease, coz once he has used up all his "punns", he's bound to come back and pay for not remembering God?

  6. This is from priceless japji sahib steek my freind has, this steek is written by sant kartar singh bhindranwale as taught by sant gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale. This is rare steek written 1967, japji sahib itself is close to whopping 800 pages long.

Here sri man sant gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale gives two meaning of Gurparsad both- nirgun and sargun, please see attachment-

waheguru ji, is it possible to do sewa and get it available online to download, as it seems to be very beautifully, simply, yet deeply put togeher and easy to understand?

  7. Mukhti is broken into of five types.. four are sargun mukhti listed in gurbani tukhs below.
chaar mukath chaarai sidhh mil kai dhooleh prabh kee saran pariou ||
I have obtained the four kinds of liberation, and the four miraculous spiritual powers, in the Sanctuary of God, my Husband Lord.
mukath bhaeiou chouhoo(n) jug jaaniou jas keerath maathhai shhathra dhhariou ||1||
I am liberated, and famous throughout the four ages; the canopy of praise and fame waves over my head. ||1|| Ang- 1105
1.Salokya Mukhti- in which the devotee gains a place in the realm of your ishatdev or attainment of the salok given by our ishatdev as you mentioned.
    2. Sarupya Mukhti – in which devotee obtains heaven and same bodily qualities as Sargun Vahiguroo (avtar , isher or deity roop)
    3. Samipya Mukhti- leads not only to divine virtues but a god (isher/sargun) god like form.
    4. Saujya mukhti- There is unity through immersion without losing one's own identity -Fish(Bhagat) in a ocean.
Bhramgyan/Kaival Mukhti- No distinction as there is no perception of individuality of being-fish/bhagat in a ocean or even a ocean itself, for understanding purposes- its actually only ocean - Supreme Consciousness Awarenes - bhramgyan- self realization of real self/nirgun saroop. nothing else.!!
For more information- Listen to Sant gyani gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale katha of gurbani.
There is no difference between kaival mukhti and jevan mukhti/bedah mukhti in terms of avastha, avastha is same only difference - jevan mukht is bhramgyani who retains the body for benefit the human kind-turiya avastha and bedah mukht who goes in full maha smaadhi (turiya atit avastha) leave the body, becomes bedah because body cannot retain fully maha samadhi body gives up naturally. There are stories of mahapursh whose followers were forcefully feeding mahapursh who has gone in turiya atith avastha just to keep the body alive for darshan, they know there is no coming back to normal conscious but to have followers darshan of body for couple of months.

Waheguru ji, could you please share the stories you mentioned?
