Science is incredibly important. I love Science (and History). Look at all the good things we've done with science. Eradicated some diseases, reduced the number of babies dying. Sent men to the moon, man made objects are going to leave our solar system.
Regardless of whether you believe in waheguru, you are still a human being, and you deserve to be protected. Aren't we failing in our duty then. It doesn't say "protect the weak and oppressed, but if they are athiests let them be killed".A philosophical question, isn't it the responsibility to protect people persecuted by religious fanatics even if they are atheists? For example people exercising free speech and logic in middle eastern countries, isn't it the duty of the Khalsa to even protect atheists because we don't discriminate at all and see Vaheguru in all.

Jokes aside, why did they only allow turbans now? Congrats on this.

Bhai Gurjant Singh Ji Budh Singh Wala
Is this picture from Pakistan? It looks like Maharaja Ranjit Singh's smadhi and the gurdwara at the back looks like Gurdwara Dera Sahib.

“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticise.” -Voltaire
Well we can see who rules over us. We aren't allowed to criticise Indra Gandhi, the judges or the so-called Indian "heroes" (KP Gill/Sajjan Kumar).
They see their soldiers and Indra who stormed Darbar Sahib as heroes, why can't we have our own hero? Isn't that what a democracy is? Where people are entitled to their own views.

Majority muslims do-
Have extra marital affairs
Dont respect women
Their peers tell them to exploit other religion girls
They marry in their own blood relation
They r source of terriorism...
They kill other people......
They never visit any temple or eat parshad offered to them....
They r biased when it comes to choose between hindu/muslim no matter who is correct or wrong
Girls cant enter in mazzid as they r considered napak.....
They always want to convert people....
What they did to our gurus we know......
If being against all these n hating them is being insane...then I can't do anything......
RELIGION IS NEVER BAD BUT THE PEOPLE R...I NEVER SAID I HATE ISLAM BUT I ALWAYS SAID I HATE MUSALMAAN....
N yup fancybanana g..... If hating those conmunity which practice sin is crime then yes I m criminal.....
GURU TEG BAHADUR G says...if u cant respect other religion u cant respect urs.....I never said islam is bad... But that does not mean that a keshdhari singh will read namaz in mazzid...
Thanks no more discussion on this keep posting some gud pics
Bhenji, some Muslims do these things because ISLAM tells them it is right. It isn't because they are bad people. Your just hating on people because of their beliefs. I had a conversation with someone earlier. This person said he would "beat up gay people". Is that right? He hates gays just because they're gay. It's what you are doing, hating on people just because of what they believe. And what they did to our gurus, yeah, there were dicks who were Muslims. Yet you choose to ignore Sai Mian Mir, Peer Buddhu Shah, Nabi Khan and Ghani Khan. All the points you have said Muslims do, are what lots of other people do. Christians, Hindus and Muslims.
I agree, post some more pictures.
Infact,

- What is the reason for standing and folding hands?
You are standing before a king and asking him things. When you go into a king's court and want to say something you stand up. The folded hands is a a sign of humility.
- After 'sarbat da bhala', who are we kneeling to? Since I have only been part of ardaas at the gurdwara- I have assumed this is matha tek to Guru sahib who is present, is this correct? Or is it like muslims bowing to God during their prayer ritual? When ardaas is performed outside the gurdwara and whenever Guru sahib is not present, does one still do matha thek to the floor?
In a gurdwara you kneel towards Guru Granth Sahib. But when they aren't present matha tek towards a gutka or where ever, God is everywhere/
- Why do we kneel and stand up twice (before and after Fateh)?
I assume that is towards the end. Lots of people don't stand up after the fateh, but I guess they stand up again bcause the ardas isn't finished yet.
- When is 'Sab sikhan ko hukam hain..' to be said? I cannot find this hymn in my gutka sahib.
Some gutkas don't contain this. Try learing all of the "Dohra" bit yourself.

Falling into these traps of hating religions or communities based on acrimonious moments in history is one of the easiest things to fall victim to. I'm as guilty as anyone for such things. We've just got to use our brains in such situations.
Yeah, I guess the good things people do are easy to forget when they do something bad.

― Dale Carnegie
I'm probably more guilty than you, but I'm learning. Isn't that what being a Sikh is all about. :D
Your really are a fancy banana arent you? :excited:

I hate them...n luv my Guru...if Guru wants or if he wil have problem with me regarding hating muslim...then let him make decision.....
I m born Khalsa...I m khalsa...wil die being khalsa..... It was becoz of muslims my Dad suffered....he can forgive them but I can't.... If muslims were not insane...hindu would never did dat.... Hindu ne kasai nu address dasya c bacheya da....but kasai te muslim c......
U r lady right..say thanks to god for making u sikh...if u would have born as muslim...ur life would have been hell.....people who dont respect women....do not deserve to b good...u know in muslim females r considered napak....apavitra....
N ya if following Sikhism n luving only my Guru is a shame then yes shame on me....
N ya I will always comment on those communities who made my Gurus suffer.....I dont care about what people say or think
Well you should hate a lot of communities, because a lot communities made us suffer. Hindu, Muslim, Christians, even our own made us suffer!
The gore took our raaj, fiddled with Sikh affairs. Our own betrayed us and because of that we lost our Sikh raaj. Do you hate us too? Do you hate Hindus who masacared thousands in the alleyways and streets of India, do you hate them because of Gangu and Chandu? I didn't know that Guru Gobind Singh had given a rehit to Sikhs of "hating all Muslims".

Bhul gaye.... Jado Guru de khalseya nu islam kabul karan nu bolde c.....I can tolerate a Gursikh offering prayer in temple n church but in mazzid..... Khoon garam ho janda mera.....
Why can you tolerate a church but not a mosque? Doesn't a Church also make you feel that the person doubts their Guru?
Let me know one muslim who visit Gurdwara n does path....if they r kattar...we should also b....

Let me be clear, would she have non-sikh lady would you show the same attitude.
Answer is no.
The article painted it as attacks on sikhs.
I would. An attack on a woman is wrong. It would still be disgusting.
And it probably was an attack on Sikhs. Have you heard it on the news? Did the rail guards help? Also what was the need for the turbans to be removed and why randomly assault a young girl?
1 -
The issue here has been given religious color.
Article is hate mongering.
How is it? Do you think it really matters if she had been raped or had her clothes ripped off? Really, come on. It isn't hate mongering. Who is it exactly hating on?

It still isn't right if she had been touched, she had her clothes ripped off. Come on Khalsa Ji, that is bang out of order. Who gives a <banned word filter activated> about terminology? Is our honour dead? Here we are arguing about whether she was assaulted or raped.

rare sewa of sri Hemkund Sahib
Sant ji with hindu bibian jo ke madad waste ayian sann
The picture of Sant ji with the Hindu bibyan really does show he wasn't a Hindu hater. Why would he help them if he didn't like Hindus?
The picture of Hemkunt Sahib is amazing, anymore of these?

I personaly don't think we keep hair because it is the "natural form", this form would then include uncut nails and running around naked. We came into this world naked. I believe we keep hair because they are Guru's stamp to show who we belong to and to show we are following a certain path. Also hair helps with spirituality, they are like little ariels.
