in this case the obligation from akal takhat is right,

Hazur Sahib has a different Amrit Ceremony, called "Kirpan da Amrit"

its maryada itself came from punjab , puratan bibi jis never took amrit , they only took chula , only a few took amrit

no one was called sikh until they took chula

it hazur sahib , you only get married after taking amrit

it is also said, that akal purakh himself recited waheguru at hazur sahib for many yugs
