What is the sikh ideal on alcohol? I've gathered that our is wrong to drink it, but what about selling? Drinking for medicinal? Making it...for whatever purpose? Being around others who drink? Dining where alcohol is served? Working where alcohol is served/sold?

Well tarantulas aren't poisonous and they get so big in Oklahoma and Texas that they are more like small animals, so I don't usually mess with them, just box themand throw them out since they really mean no harm...but they say that if you have mice in your house to get a tarantula and let it fee in your house and it will be perfectly happy feeding on the mice and won't bother you

no,I don't drain myself I manipulate theirs, just like good and negative bacteria in the body there are good and negative energies. you need both energies, just sometimes they get misplaced, so you have to smooth them into place. Just like magnets energies are draw to one another and so when I merge my energy with the other persons, I can move their positive and negative energies to where they need to be, instead if jumbled and mixed...the feeling you get when this is performed on you is the feeling you get when in a deep meditative state...total relaxation as if you cannot will your self to move or speak But it is work just like any other work and takes time and energy

So I was introduced into Indian Movie making a few months ago and the movies seem pretty cool, I don't really watch movies or tv anyway, but the movies seemed pretty moral and interesting. I hate watching movies that make me blush or cringe...too much cussing, too much sex, too much violence. but I have been noticing that Indian movies are getting braver and braver...scenes that are getting closer to sex scenes, shortage of clothed females, lots of fighting and violence, and why is it that EVERY movie is a love story? I think I have seen one Indian kid's movie that was not a love story...am I watching the wrong movies? is there any historically based Indian movies? And what is the deal with the sexually explicit portrayal of women now? The first few movies I watched I was so happy with because no one even so much as kissed in a movie, now I am seeing ads for new movies and trailers that show women with hardly any clothes on dancing erotically and so on.... Doesn't this irritate anyone? Especially us ladies! We are not toys and none of us, even the actresses in the movies act (or should act) that way in public! Or dress that way... Am I wrong in this? Or am I over reacting? (and in case anyone is thinking this right now, I have stopped watching Hollywood movies, I'd rather watch documentaries)

okay so I believe that every thing has a purpose and I should not interfere with that thing's purpose unless it is directly affecting me. and if it is directly affecting me, then I should try to interfere as least as possible...in nature I mean, not in all matters because obviously if there is injustice then I'm going to try resolve it in some way... so I catch flies and throw them outside....what do you guys think? Do you think it matters? Is it better to catch vs kill or kill vs catch?

why enraged? why even upset? Maybe thankful? for bringing out an issue that needs to be addressed....its not like SHE is making fun, but we ALL know that bullying is a problem...and it happens to everyone. We see how the pic put on fb of the Kaur with the facial hair started out, making fun, but it ended with strength and love...we must first address the issue, then love has a chance to surround the issue and fix it I may be flying off the handle here, but just look at the massacre in 1984, I wasn't born yet, but do you think I ever heard of it here in America? I never even heard of a sikh before about a year ago...I asked why and was told that the Indian government doesn't want people to know what happened or the world might have pity on the Sikhs....don't know if this is right, but it sounds right to me. Sounds like the usual government cover up style conspiracy

I agree but I think the power was directed in the right, but wrong direction...instead of conquering the nation to reclaim their lands, they conquered nature, and caused a HUGE issue with the food supply which eventually killed off so many...but the good thing is, some Native Nations were not hunter/gatherers they were farmers and they are the ones that predominantly survived

Its definitely a point of frustration though, when it's falling, for me anyway, I've got kids so I have so many other things to worry about than trying to keep it on But I was doing some research and was reading that Sikhi women have to cover their shoulders too? Is that right? not sure what you are saying,I don't know the SikhI language yet :-) but maybe something that could help is when I am wearing my hijab loose over my shoulders I usually wrap a thin scarf around my hair because my hair is so soft that the longer scarf ALWAYS falls of, but if it can grip onto a rougher surface, it stays easier, and you can mix and match colors for a cute style too :-)

I have posted about my friends, and yes he is my friend, when I ask them a question,I get different answers from each one. I talk to them all the time but I want more answers and explanations.
