The point i want to make is that is it fair for a secular country whose people sing praises of the diversity of the country to have the national song based on the majority religion of that country. In india "bharat mata" is worshipped as "durga mata" and hence this song. The concept of bharat mata(mother india) in itself is a hindu concept. On one hand the supreme court judges declare that state of india has no religion and sikhs are part of broader hindu faith and on the other hand the same nation's national song is based on the majority religion. Sorry for being harsh,but I very strongly feel that majority of India is not worth ruling an inch and MUSLIM is the only MEDICINE of the majority of India because our gurus have made us toooooooo good to have any form of association with these kind of HYPOCRITICAL people and their PHONEY nation. Sat Sri Akal I learnt punjabi language at school but when I started to read Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj Ji,most of the WORDS were unknown.I feel the punjabi language shud be taught in a way that children are able to understand the WORD of the Guru,otherwise knowing punjabi is of no use. Recently I found that all the jounalists and newspapers around the world used the word 1984 anti sikh riots.Wasnt it a genocide as a riot is when both the parties are involved.Isnt it right that UN termed 84 as a genocide? My dear sikh brothers and sisters waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh Its hurting to find the use of word "Bhapa" at this very good web site.I request Malvai veer to use Urban Sikh instead of Bhapa. I come from a jatt sikh family and was a clean shaven illogical over proud jatt dude some time back.I took amrit 1 month back.Presently the only thing I can associate myself in this world is Khalsa Panth.I have had experiences of living aside both Urban sikhs in delhi and some "typical" jatt dudes in Punjab and abroad. If some sikh(urban,jatt,chinese,black,white whatever...) is lucky to have the grace of his Satguru,his cultural(caste) effect on his personality and way of life doesnt matter at all. I had the honour of knowing a bihari converted Singh Sahib Ji who was one of the most fine and committed KHarrkoo and gave up everything he had for the kaum including his life. But not all sikhs are lucky to achieve that level in their life and their cultural and family upbringing has a significant effect on their life. IMPORTANT:=Caste doesnt effect ones way of life but culture does.So when I use urban sikh,it will mean any sikh(jatt or non jatt) brought up in places like delhi,kanpur etc and when I will use jatt,it will be synonimous to a "typical" Punjabi guy. Jatt guys are more straighforward,honest and higly UNPREDICTABLE.You can make a jatt dude to be General Suhbeg Singh or a clean shaven over proud senseless drinker and smoker.If jatt dudes are shown right sikhi way,they can do great things due to their ability to non-hypocratical,ability to take stand,and love for punjabi and punjab and sikh panth. In case of urban sikhs,its sad to say that they dont have same love for Gurmukhi,many urban sikhs speak hindi at homes too which is sad as 1 or 2 generations back they used to speak punjabi.Many of them are not that straightforward,some of them call themselves hindus, and many of them are non-khalistanis(this thing i really dislike).They are economically one of the most well off and hence sacrifice the need of Panth and compromise. But they have lots of positive points as they do very good seva of guru ghars and maintain them very well.They dont cut hair that easily as jatt dudes do. Exceptions exist in all the cases. well... In my view indian hindu has not only hatred for indian muslim but also fear. Like you have brave Hindu lions calling sikhs as "oye sardar"in an insulting way throughout India.Do the hindus dare to call a muslim "oye mulle" in a sarcastic way. The answer is no because the muslims are not going to tolerate it. Few years back there was a bollywood movie in which word "mustafa" was used.Muslims just told once that we want this word removed and it was removed. Contrary to that,sikhs protested against bole so nihaal througout the country and the police did lathi charge on sikhs and finally a bomb blast resulted in stopping the screening of this movie. Indian hindu dint appreciate the gentle and kind nature of Sikhs and dont have the b**ls to face the indian muslim. So far minorities have been subjugated in India due to hindu mob mentality.The day muslim population gets over 35%,hindus might have to pay for some of the stuff they did to muslims in gujarat,bombay and bihar etc.

You will loose not only Punjab but also many other states and in the remainder portion you will have to confront with about 35-40% muslim brothers as muslim brothers have huge population in states like UP and Gujarat and they are not going to stop reproducing . Even the films which have sikh characters play a "brave" role,there are dirty tricks played by the directors.Example Movie Gaddar 1.Over emphasis of jatt jatt,sikh word never used 2.sunny deol converts to islam for love of muslim girl but becomes mad when he is asked to say hindustan murdabad(what a distortion of sikhism in which 7 and 9 year old sahibzadis gave up the pleasures of this world and did not convert to islam) 3.sunny deol in a fight scene hits a Nihang Sikh and the Nihang sikhs goes flying in the air. Movie Border 1.Non sikhs like akhsay khanna and sunil shetty get major roles(to show hindus always fight along side sikhs against common enemy pakistan) where in reality it was all in all a sikh regiment.THe director acknowledged he had to put these characters for the movie to be popular throughout the country.He had told earlier that he is making a real life story. 2.Sunny deol playing a sardar abusing and bashing muslims(trying to create hatred between sikhs and muslims). Forgiveness is a great virtue.Forgive someone who is asking forgiveness but most of us forgive people or try to forgive in our mind because we cant do anything. Well I very strongly believe that a sikh has full right to use his tongue and his sword against an attack but THE KEY is and I feel that is very very important that during the process a sikh should not get ANGRY OR EMOTIONAL because if you do so you will loose and your enemy will win. In order to control being emotional and angry during defensive fight one has to do lots of naam simran because otherwise a normal wordly person is bound to be afflicted by anger and emotion. One has to subsitute emotion and anger into MOMEMTUM and COURAGE and in the end if you are able to get the better of your opponent a sikh MUST show mercy too.
