  1. Seventh day adventist acknowledges Christ as prophet but then says another Christ is due and then believes whatever gobbledygook served up by its founder. Seventh day can be regarded as nothing more than a cult. Apart from the fact that it recognizes Christ, it is more akin to Scientology. Perhaps it is Scientology for the masses, whereas the former is for the elites who have been brainwashed into believing that all religion is false. Similarly I can see Sacha Sauda believing in Guru Gobind Singh (and thus the infamous stunt) but still going a bit further and believing believing whatever its founder says. heretical sects are not stopped in Christianity yet it is growing through various means fair and foul. SImilarly there are Pentecostals and baptists. These are the guys who in India walk around with drums saying "Good News Has Come". lol They are not as heretic or weird as Seventh Day Adventists but they are financially very powerful since they propagate the agenda of baptists in Southern US. they are the guys who go from village to village prosletyzing and converting and offering scooters, televisions and what not. Apparently just recently one such proslytizer known to me was exposed in media as having received $257 million for his activites in India since past 18 years. Mind you this is just a single fellow. There are others too.
  2. Kindly elaborate your thoughts in this matter .. why you think so ? Seventh Day Adventists are similarly weird and the followers beliefs seem to revolve entirely upon the quirks of their self-professed leader. They are supposedly banned from taking blood transfusions and a lot of people of that sect have died as a result of this nonsensical theory. I personally know of a father refused to allow blood-transfusion to his ailing daughter and she died as a result.
  3. Can the conflict between Sikhs and Nirankaris and Sacha Sauda wallas be comapared to differences between Catholicism and Protestants/Orthodox Christianity. there are some Christian sects like Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons who more closely match Sauda like sects.
  4. I have done a lot of study on North India. But what struck me however was when I returned from a long foreign trip and returned to Delhi. It gave me an opportunity to reset my perceptions and look at the place afresh. What I saw shocked me. Not the obvious exterior but for the first time it was like I was able to peer into people's souls and I saw a scarred soul. the whole of North India carries a scarred soul and that is the major problem. It has be healed slowly by balms being applied on those open scars and wounds. People need to be encouraged and empowered .. some take to it quickly and some are more difficult to change. Change is happening .. but pace is different with different people. Also the police that India inherited at freedom was a police that was created and maintained to serve and foreign master. Even during Mughal times the subedars/Kotwal has a different mandate and that culture seems to passed down and seeped through to the present times. Especially when people are allowed to create their 'comfort-zones'. It is then that the civilizational memory gets recharged. Civilizational memories can take time to erase. We can give people all power and responsibility that we can't create self-esteem or self-pride in them. Ofcourse you are right of not tolerating injustice. God helps only those who help themselves. Tolerating injustice is as criminal as perpetrating it.
  5. I have a question. Why doesn't Sikhism tolerate heretics ? Sometimes when I look at Sikhism (as displayed on this forum), Hinduism or even Christianism it seems to mirror Islamist or talibanic/wahabbi tendencies of keeping the religion 'pure'. Are religions unknowingly copying Islamist idelology at the same time while wanting to distinguish itself from them ? No offence intended. peace
  6. I can understand Hindu feelings to certain extent. In my own community our people had bishops with names like Bishop Daud/Dawood (Islamised version of David), Bishop Yakub (Jacob) and Bishop Abdulla ..lol .. what the #$%# Apparently it had happened after the crusades were lost and the turks or Arabs controlled areas around Antioch, Jerusalem etc. So the bishops and clergy and motley crowd of Christians who had stayed on in those areas had to dhimmify themselves and adopt muslim-type names. Later on during Roman period of Caesar they were chased off anyways and that's how they landed up in Iraq, Syria and also India. Now just imagine that event on a much larger scale and you have hindus. If you do not allow a community their dignity they will behave in ways that these hindus are behaving today. If you give someone respect their behaviour will be quite different. this comparison is not entirely relevant here, simply because of how the hindus debating and fighting amongst themselves was totally different from the way invaders from North-West treated them. For instance in Nalanda, which was buddhist centre they got to know the news that a guy named Khilji had defeated the local King and he was arriving in their direction. They buddhist monks were used to fights between local kings and one king defeating the other and they used to praise the new King .. and life went on. Life revolved around dharma and King was supposed to do his dharma and the praja (citizens) had their own dharma. So there was no great dissonance at such changes. So when Khilji came they thought it was business as usual .. hey Khilji is a new King .. just another King who has defeated the local King. SO they all lined up with garlands in their hands to receive this new fellow. As soon as Khilji arrived, he saw these monks standing on both sides of the road with garlands in their hands and he chopped off all their heads without dismounting from his horse.
  7. boss I was not willing to turn your pandit thread into a hindu banging session. I used to pretty much think that hindus were wanting to have their cake and eat it too. But when you look at other countries esp in West you can see that their holy lands are unmolested and unviolated. But here in North India every other place has a muslim name .. at one time in history these used to be very holy places for the Hindus. If you look at South India which was largely unmolested by Mughal rule, in TN, Kerala, South Karnatak etc the hindu places of worship and architecture is still unmolested and South India was always relatively lesser hinduised than north. And then compare it to the barren landscape of the Northern plains devoid of any major symbols, the places of worship have been demolished or belittled, destroyed and made insignificant. Let them make their temples Krishna and Ram's birthplace and let it be cleared of symbols of any other religion. Also Shiv's abode needs unhindered access all through the year. then they will look like hypocrites if they come after other places. this much I can tolerate.
  8. For you I'm a Hindu waving the Indian flag. And I am proud of it.
  9. there is a lot of basis to Ayodhya crap .. Are non-muslims even allowed entrance into Mecca ? If a non-muslim is caught taking the Mecca exit on the highway or in the vicinity of the area demarcated as Mecca city then they are executed by a sharp swish of the sword. What is more any non-muslim caught in Saudi Arabia with non-muslim holy books can be arrested or executed. No temples, Churches are allowed anywhere inside Saudi Arabia. Similarly there are no mosques or temples in Vatican. ahh .. what broadmindedness Why only in case of Hindus such liberties are being taken .. if you ask me no major religion of the world should not have any alien religious symbols polluting its holiest places. If Catholicism or Islam aren't willing to accord such courtesies to other religions then why should Hindus allow this one way traffic ? peace
  10. the brahmins are clever, that I agree. Not to be underestimated .. But if Brahmins are soo clever as is being made out by Sarpanch jee and his like minded friends on the forum, then they would have ensured that Sikhism and Buddhism and no other competition rises against them. Also they would have ensured that area of Punjab which comes under Pakistan and includes lots of small tribes would never have roamed around freely to convert to Islam and aid Mongols and Mughals when they crawled in via North West. Also they would have ensured that Aurangzed and Islam did not create a mosque on top of Ram's temple in Ayodhya and one absolutely obscene looking mosque overlooking Krishna temple in Mathura. Is there any religion in this world that has to face the abomination of having their major Gods being treated like this. Ram Birthplace: Mosque built over so-called Birthplace of Ram Krishna's Birthplace: Ugly mosque overlooks Krishna's birthplace in Mathura. Shiva's abode: In Tibet, but currently occupied by China. If Brahmins were so goddamned clever that Sarpanch jee is making them out to be. They would never have come to such a sorry pass. With all their religious symbols and Gods humiliated in this fashion. And then there are people on this forum ridiculing this already dhimmified and trodden upon group of people.
  11. Common consensus in Indian police circles is that the police in Haryana and Punjab are some of the most corrupted in the country. and there is a reason for this. these places were most affected by British and Mughal rule and thus there was always a strong section in the people here who slaved for whichever tyrant was in power during those days. And this 700 yr old culture has been passed down to the present. It will take time to remove this legacy and generate self-pride in a large section of people in these areas.
  12. With this move they have appropriated India's past since they didn't have a glorious past and have defined it's present in their image. What they say is that they have occupied the place once the so-called Aryans did when they ruled over the 'dark natives'.
  13. I know that you strive to make us better people. No wonder people say that you can take an Indian out of India but you can never taken India out of an Indian. peace
  14. But the topic of this thread is confusing. 'Indian Police exposed' .. this is nothing new when was it ever covered. As far as I can see it was always exposed. There is nothing new that has happened in between to suddenly expose them. As we all know one act of indescretion by any police anywhere suddenly exposes the whole country's police.
  15. mann kaum je, as always its a pleasure to read your unbiased opinion.
  16. Anything is possible. We all know the hindus are out to get the Sikhs and make them gulam. But in this case I was speaking of my opinion and my dreams of the future. If you consider it mumbo jumbo then I can only feel sad that you have decided to express yourself publically that my dreams are mumbo jumbo.
  17. signs of darkest Kalyug. No one trusts anyone, and no one believes anyone
  18. probably he thought India had a Sikh Prime Minister etc and usually no country makes prime ministers out of communities which are not part and parcel of that country.
  19. I am telling you right now .. that whoever this next prophet dude is going to be will ask the world to adopt Sikhism to combat evil forces (Read govts of US, UK. shodowy forces intelligence agencies who operate under cover etc) and he will ask the world to not look upto anyone for support but instead become Sikh and learn to defend themselves. then entire world, especially those who follow this dude will at once convert to Sikhism and adopt full swaroop wherever possible (except far eastern brothers) and become soldiers of the righteous. Finally at the end the evil forces shall be defeated and the whole world will be united in one religion and under one banner.
  20. Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg and CFR are the real policy making bodies of the western elite where they hand down their agenda for the world to their workers on the ground.
  21. Gandhi lived in difficult times .. Gurkhas, and Punjabis in baloch regiment were used for killing Sikhs and Hindus in Jallianwala Bagh. Sikhs were assembled to take revenge on Mughals & muslims in Delhi in 1857. Muslims living in Potohar and Chakwal were targeted to control the hindu populations. So each community was directed against the other. In between all this Gandhi had to find out a way to unite all these errant groups and bring some kind of common base which serve the purpose and give self-respect to those people under colonial rule for well over 5 decades. So he did what he had to do. We will not be able to accurately judge him today. It is not possible .. one has to have lived in that period of darkness. And secondly the purpose of this thread is not to debate gandhi and his views. IIRC it has been discussed some place else in this forum and I had participated in that discussion.
  22. The RAND Corporation is a big think tank in the US. They deal with how social opinion on any subject can be manipulated post an incident has been manufactured. Soldiers of Reason: The RAND Corporation and the Rise of the American Empire by Alex Abella (Author)
  23. This gives a peek into the real nature of the British rule over India. It is surprising that no one has ever researched the opium trade out of India under the Brits, though this was how the Raj was funded for 200 years. The author calls it "white washing" of the past. 'Opium financed British rule in India' http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7460682.stm
  24. As I have seen often on this forum and elsewhere. A lot of Indians who live outside India esp in west are being thoroughly brainwashed about that country. Ofcourse there are warts and all in India and there are genuine grievances. But these are being packaged in the west to spread an anti-establishment seed in the minds of people with a view to destabilize countries who could become competitors to the west under a more nationalist regime sometime in future. this is not only happening in India but is being carried out in numerous other countries in the world under garb of 'free press', 'democracy' and freedom of expression. Upcoming generations in such societies are being asked to believe that their native cultures, something that their ancestors have believed for generations are all negative and discriminatory. There is a major attempt at inducing guilt amongs an entire new generation and thus make them fertile and conducive to receiving 'New World' agenda. Western academia, think tanks and universities play a very important role in this. Reading some articles which have described in detail how these things have been planned.
