  1. vjkkvjkf pajee,

Bachittr Natak is by our master Than Than Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj....

panjabi version i read was steek (translation) by J.P Sangat Singh

english version (The Wondorous Play) text and translation by Dr Jodh Singh

Both equally amazing and helped meunderstand the magnificent phenomenom that is the Bachttr Natak.....it tells mission of guru gobind singh ji maharaj and it felt almost as if you can see what thoughts maharaj ji has and had.....his visions.

    Recommended for everyone.

    chardikala ji, deep kaur x

  3. i thought it was harmless humour at first but eyebrows became more and more closer as i read on until they looked alot like this  .lol.

agreed withh sscom, no place for it on a skihi realted site, needs to be banned.

  4. Jaspual pajee guru ji doesnt have hatred for anyone..you know that. Patka or any turban, if you need to in a certain situation its fine in my opinion, as long as its not replaing the pagh full time, which obviously it wont......distaar, dumaalla, paghri....RULE ALL THE WAY.

    deep x

  5. in agreement with heera pajee, and i myself have always believed that what colour a gursikh chooses to wear has nothing to do with anybody...guru ji is not looking at colours. Guru ji cares that when you walk into darbar sahib, any darbar shaib ur wearing responsible clothing, that doesnt distarct sangats attention thas all...colours thas just ur choice.

    chardikala, deep kaur x

  6. Pajee dont worry about it ,if she stil doesnt stop i agree action suggested by post above. No ofence to do elder ladies, but some have got nothing bettter to do with their time and just want some action..... , so rise above this like a true soldier and be there for comforting your mum if she needs it, understand how this may be hurting her, when this insult is said in the company of her children....that old lady needs a lesson in acting her age......

Chardikala pajee to you and your family....good luck....Vaheguru

    deep kaur x

  7. ive known people who do kesri ishnaan everyday.....saw this at camp. Me personally at least have kesri ishnaan 3 times a week, after 2 days hair does become greasy and its not nice to keep kesh in that state under distaar not to mention, this everyone has probably experienced the itch one gets when removing the distaar......lol.

so yeah the more the better. Once a week may be leaving it abit too long.

  8. my cousin told me there were film crew, hindu type guys smelling of cigrettes waling about gurdvara as if it was a film set, toher actresses walking about like theyre not in a holy place, im thinking a masjid would never allow this type of thing to happen, why are we sleeping....the elders are sleeping so now we are expected to put woll over our eyes too...the commitee meber said to my couisn...naa beta koi beadbi nai hundi. yeh right.

  9. btw..it happened in maharaj jis hazoori in the divaan hall and actor and actress were taking prasad.....shots being done again again inside gurdvara sahib. All sangat was disturbed and started watching film shooting while in guru jis hazoori,, all standing up!!!!!

And the paathis and commitess memebrs were enjoying shooting too.

  10. Sri guru singh sabhba gurdwaw, havelock road, filming just took place. I found out from my bro who was down there, he phoned up my cousin both apporached guy in charge who said he has permission from the commitee. If the commitees allow such things what can be done. Nothing it seems. I hope they realise that what they are allowing doesnt seem right to me.....what do you guys think?

  11. vjkkvjkkf,

i took amrit this vaisakhi, occasionally feel like im not worth the glorious nectar when one of the vices comes around. But youve got to learn to be strong and think to yourself why did i take the amrit in the first place, what bought me so near to guru ji that i wanted the sweet sweet amrit. Ask yourself, retrace your steps and go back to the beginning and mayb you may find the answer.

Alternatively do as much vaheguru simran as possible, stay in gurmukh sangat and go to gurdwara sahib to increase your sangat, and pyar with guru ji.

    goodluck rolleyes.gif

  12. hahhaaaaa..........llol, had to laugh

Once i was talking to soemone from kings college, and heres what i said durin jabji shaib...

so dhar tera keha so ghar unhunmm....kings college!!!!...zzz...jit bhe sarb sumalleh!

LOL....when i said that i snapped open my eyes and thought what, where did i get tht from??......was guilty though and made sure not to let it occur again, its tiredness usualy when we feel like that, so cure....sleep like a baby till amrit vela, and not be on the net half the nite. :umm: , umm any confessions people?....lol

    takecare, vjkkhalsavjkfateh x
