  1. Here is a gurbani tuk from bhai gurdas ji's varan, Bhai sahib is clear on the subject of gold in terms of do we really, as gurus students need it?

    Pauri 11 (Sone da drisatant)

    Suniara suina gharai gahane savare.

    Pipal vatare valia tanaure tare.

Vesari nathi vakhaniai kanth mala dhare.

    Tikati mani motisar gajare pasare.

Dur bahuta gol chhap kari bahu parakare.

    Ape api varatada gurmukh vichare.

    Pauri 11 (Example of Gold)

The goldsmith creates bauetiful ornaments out of gold. Among them many arelike pipal leaf for adornment of ears and many are made of gold wire. From gold, nose rings and necklaces are also worked into their shape. Ornmanets for the forehead (tikka), jewel studded necklace, pearl garlands are mad. Variegated wrist chains and round rings are prepared from gold. The gurmukh feels that like gold. He is the basis of each and every thing.

  4. pheena, frm what i noticed in forums soo far is that whenever you comment its always against others, never agreeable comment. If youre like that your whole life then i don knowwhat youl do friend, remember in sikhi learning and patience is not only a great virtue but also a sign that youre a sikh. learner, fateh ji :TH:

  5. no.gif vaheguru. pajee the first video was jus shocking and i thought as a singhni i had problems. here in uk i do get stared at wherever i go but not taunted like that. although once as i was serving a customer recently after london attacks, he threatened totake my turban off. This guy w huge and i don htink he realised i was a girl, veen if he did he was so fumed up he woul have tried it outside. I basically said (moving a small step back)'i'd lke o see you try, say anything to me donteven speak outla line bout my sikhi, my turban'. THis guy was angry frmhome and wanted me to get intotrouble, but luckly our weakling security guard camedown and moved him out

cheers paaj for sharing those videos :TH:
