Vah 100% right this is my last post on this forum. Back when I first joined a few years ago I was amazed at the knowledge of some users E.g (kam1825, namstang etc.) and learnt a lot from the huge variety of interesting topics. If there is a device that aids one in doing more parchar I can't see how its bad. This is a matter or opiion of course so lets leave it at this : The red light as superficial and stupid as it may be enables a person to get though traffic quickly. For a Sant whose sole purpose and duty is to travel around from place to place to join people with Guru Sahib and do parchar you can see how this device may be useful. Faster travel cuts down time wasted = more parchar. Simple maths. I have stayed with them in India it is literally non stop on the roads 14 hours a day. So its not for show as you subtly suggested it has a purpose.

Jealousy is without a doubt the reason why Babbu Mann made some of the comments in the song. Jealousy is also the reason why many other moorakhs are jumping on the bandwagon. People don't like to see others in chardikala its a sad but true fact.

There are loads of business men and other people who do it though is what I mean. I don't mean its allowed by law beacause we all the law doesn't reallly matter in India. Just to clear something up red lights on cars aren't just for politicians they're for anyone important who needs to get somewhere fast. If you think a mahan parcharak of the panth isn't important then you're deluded. There is no one more important or who should be respected more. When you're doing 3 divaans a day because you want to do as much good as possible you need to get around quickly. Treating sants like kings/vips is nothing new pick up book read Baba Nand Singhs Jeevan, read Baba Attar Singhs jeevan he once rode on an elephant in a procession of rajeh when king george the 5th visited. I'm not going to argue with you because nothing will be gained. I actually agree your translations of the shabad are better than those used, but shabads can have more than one meaning. But that doesn't change the fact that Siri Harmandir Sahib is the holiest most awe inspiring place on earth and the amrit there makes amazing things happen. If you can't see that or don't believe it then so be it. If you don't want to have an ishnaan there then don't.
