I think we should call for a Pragaret's law just like there is a sarah's law and various other laws that have harmed vulnerable people.... the Sikhs of the UK are a vulnerable community because of their highly visble headgear.... as are shop keepers and small business owners they are vulnerable too and need extra protection in legislation.

We should Have full control over creation and dissemination Guru ji Saroop, those who wish to bring a saroops has been fully trained and have done santhiya classes and every Saroop is traceable so beadbhi doesn't happen.Our history should be taught to all our children in a proper manner not a slapdash bedtime stories way. The women should be trained foremost for defending the youth and home when the Men are not around . The kids should be master singers and nitnemis by Preteens.

I opened up with the unfair treatment she gave the website by only showing one person's viewpoint , I asked her to see it from Sikhi point of view if everyone marries out very few people will pass on their faith or culture to the kids so Sikhi would lose out. Then I said that it would be wrong in this day and age of 1 in 2 marriages failing to claim it's all hunky dorey if you marry out , marriage life needs commitment and unlike the past the stigma of a divorce isn't enough incentive for people to work out their problems and stay married, these figures also do't include those who are just common law spouses. That being born Punjabi doesn't make you a Sikh just as being born a Jamaican doesn't make you a Rastafari. To be Sikh ones needs to take amrit and make a commitment to our Guru ji the maximum one could claim is that your family comes from a sikh background. Bus nothing too controversial.

Circumcision was invented and practiced to stop people from engaging in self-gratification. That was the main purpose behind it. It was not done for religious or cultural reasons but a way curing people who were addicted to this act. I have posted articles of why it was done as proof of this.This act is addictive as other drugs. There is for the past 20 years been a huge rise and epidemic in sexual addiction due to the Internet.

When one does this act he gets a huge release of brain chemicals such as dopamine. You get the same high when you take heroin or cocaine. Hence why it is a classed as an addiction in medical terms.

So back to the topic the aim was to remove the most pleasure giving part of the organ the foreskin. The foreskin is the most sensitive part of the organ.

The aim of circumcision?

1) Make organ less sensitive

2) Make act more difficult to do

3) Make sexual release less pleasurable

Was circumcision successful in stopping people from doing self-gratification??

Yes it was very effective, the pleasure from sexual release is greatly reduced and sensitivity is greatly lowered. Now because of this people are less likely to become addicted to it and do it less often. The stronger and more pleasurable an act is the more the person will do this act. This is simple logic .If you make the act less pleasurable people will do it less and you will unlikely to become addicted. Are there any Muslims who still do it excessively. Well yes there are still who do it excessively. But they are the exception the overall majority of them do it less as it is simply a lot less pleasurable activity.

NO it never has been proven ...it has been social mores and cultural/religious hatred of the act that has curbed its rise until the advent of freely available pornography on the internet

So just because something has maybe achieved its purpose does not mean it is the right thing to do. To cure excessive sexual desire/gratification you can’t take any short cuts. You just have to be mentally strong to do it. As I mentioned in my previous post to stop someone sniffing cocaine you don’t just chop his nose off. Yes it will stop him from sniffing the cocaine. But he will have no nose left and a bunch of other problems. Which is what Circumcisions essentially is.
