This Nagar Kirtan will be starting at 10am, those interested in doing stewarding Seva, must attend the stewards meeting at Gurdwara Baba Sang Ji Smethwick on Saturday 21st April at 6pm. For those who do not normally tie a dastar but wish to do so will be provided with Dastaaran and helped to tie them on Sunday morning from Gurdwara Baba Sang Ji Smethwick. Please note: This Nagar Kirtan usually leaves from Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick, but this year the committee at GNG refused to participate in the Nagar Kirtan in any way or form, they have refused to give the items for the Nagar Kirtan and even refused to give the Choley for the 5 Piare and 5 Nishaan Sahib wale Singhs. Therefore Gurdwara Baba Sang Ji Smethwick has struggled at the last minute to get all the items together, but with Guru Ji's kirpa have still managed to do so. Please help out as much as you can. The main issue is, that this is a Anti Panthic committee, from 21 members 20 of them are *deleted*. The so called angel Stage Sec *deleted*. why? Because they have no fear of Guru Ji, if they were so intelligent in the Sikh Religion, and proud Sikh Sevadaars, they would take Amrit and understand the spirit Guru Sahibs Amrit fills you with. But only a Vapaari of Amrit can understand its value. Today Leamington, tomorrow some other Gurdwara, the issue Khalsa Ji, is not the Gurdwara Sahib, it is the masand's who run it. In the 1900's the issue was not Nanakana Sahib nor Sri Darbar Sahib, it was the Msanads that had taken control, it is the same in this issue weather it be leamington, london, vancouver, etc etc.... I urge the Sikh Sangat, to ensure we hold Shaheedi programmes and talk about their mission weather it was for Khalistan or punishing a tyrant for what they had done, for the Shaheeds that spilt their blood for us, never forget them, what ever Gurdwara is local to you, put their banners up, put their photos up and promote them and their message to the Sikh Nation and the world. UK Gurdwara committee insults the Panth’s Shaheeds “The UK Sikh community is urged to attend the Akhand Paath bhog at Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara on 13th November and support the local Sangat’s cause in remembering the Sikh nation’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Guru and the Panth, despite an anti-Sikh stance from the communist gurdwara committee. The bhog will take place at 10am will be followed by Dhadi Vaars.” Leamington (November 9, 2011)–In further evidence of the on going deterioration of our Sikh institutions, disturbing anti-Sikh ideology of the recently new management committee of Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara Sahib in UK has come to public light. The Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara has been under the public spotlight since 2006 when they were exposed for celebrating Bandi Chhor Divas with a meat and alcohol party in the Gurdwara complex. Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara is now under the spotlight for insulting the Sikh nation’s martyrs, venerating the evil tyrants who attacked the Sikh nation in 1984 and bullying the local Sangat. Every year the Leamington and Warwick Sangat hold an Akhand Paath remembrance programme in memory of all the Sikh nation’s shahids (martyrs). This year, after the bhog of the Akhand Paath, Dhadis are going to sing Vaars in tribute to Shahid Bhai Beant Singh, Shahid Bhai Satwant Singh, Shahid Bhai Kehar Singh, Shahid Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Shahid Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha. Two weeks ago, a senior member of the Gurdwara management committee was approached about putting the poster for the event on the Gurdwara notice board. The committee member replied that the poster cannot be put up as some people have complained that the photos of those who have killed Indira Gandhi have been displayed. The Sangat explained to the committee member that the people on the poster are the Sikh nation’s great martyrs who have been honoured by Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The committee member replied that if we allow this Akhand Paath then someone could argue that it is okay to do an Akhand for Indira Gandhi as she is a ‘Shahid’ also. The Sangat approached some committee members again one week ago about putting up the poster on the notice board. The committee members replied disgracefully that “We only accept those as Shahids who are included in the Ardas. We do not accept anyone else as a Shahid and this poster cannot be put up.” That Sunday, the Stage Secretary made an announcement on the Gurdwara stage that, “an Akhand Paath will be held next week by a small section of the Sangat because the whole Sangat does not consider those people Shahid. Some call them ‘terrorists’ and others ‘shahid.’ The Committee only accepts those as Shahids who are mentioned in the Ardas. For this reason the poster with these photos will not be allowed to be displayed in the Gurdwara. Only Guru Nanak’s Bani can be preached here, no other thing is allowed here.” The whole incident highlights how our Gurdwaras have fallen back in the hands of corrupt individuals. The new breed of Masands seem to be power hungry individuals who lack intelligence and capabilities of gaining power in local politics or control of their own homes and families, so instead they wield their force in the local Sangat and do the utmost to gain a power hold of the local Gurdwaras. The booze drinking ‘custodians’ of the Gurdwara have turned their backs on the Sikh nation’s heroes who defended their honour and respect of the Sikh nation by delivering justice to those that dared attack the heart of the Sikh community. If Shahid Beant Singh and Shahid Satwant Singh are terrorists, then would Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara committee consider Bhai Mehtab Singh and Bhai Sukha Singh as 18th century terrorists because they assassinated Massa Rangar? Khalsa Ji, As you can see through this thread many questions were asked, of which the committee or their representitives have been unable to answer. After the Bhog of the Sri Akhand Path Sahib today the Stage Secretary had no intention of mentioning Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh Ji, Bhai Satwant Singh Ji or any other shaheed. Khalsa Ji, it was *deleted* the Assistant General Secretary of the Gurdwara Sahib who is non - amritdhari and a *deleted* (remember in the Gurdwara you do not have to be Amritdhari to become a committee member) who stated that we can hold the Akhand Path Sahib of Indira Ghandi too if one is held for the Shaheed Singhs who assasinated her, The Stage Sec (Also a non-Amritdhari) stated that there is no way that we will allow anyone to speak about ANYTHING other than the Sikh Gurus - Now please dont lie about this because those were his words. Then the Sikh Fed Chief Amrik Singh Gill went on stage and clarified that he does not understand why people do not understand the concept of MIRI PIRI Sidaant in the Gurdwara Sahib. He totally thrashed the Stage Secretary after Amrik Singh Gill the stage secretary went on stage and defended himself. Then Kulwant Singh Dhesi, Tarsem Singh Deol, Kuldeep Singh Chaheru, Charan Singh all spoke, in favour of the Shaheed Singhs, and if you listened carefully, the old men sat on the back benches were moaning their heads off, but due to the amount of Panthic Singhs present, they kept their mouths shut. It is with no doubt, that if the amount Singhs that turned up at the Gurdwara Sahib today, did not come, there was NO WAY the names of SHAHEED BHAI BEANT SINGH, BHAI SATWANT SINGH and other shaheed Singhs would have been mentioned. Its not an issue against the Gurdwara Sahib, the issue is the ANTI - Panthic committee, today if those Singhs never came and this committee never allowed the names of those Singhs to be mentioned on stage this disease would have spread to other Gurdwara's, and therefore other so called 'moderate' Gurdwaras would have banned the use of the names of Shaheed Singhs at their Gurdwaras too..... look at it in the long run. The Stage secretary, UNTIL provoked from the Sangat DID NOT mention any Shaheed Singhs name, and also stated Sangat Ji, we have so many million pounds outstanding on our loan, if we go into these issues it will divide the Sangat therefore the revenue will drop. NOW ANSWER ME.... will mentioning the names of those who gave up everything for you really divide the Sangat? I stand firm all the alligations made are 100% true, unless the sharaabi committee proves them wrong. I also stand firm with the belief that Sri Akal Takhat Sahib should pass a resolution stating that ALL GURDWARA PARBANDHAK'S MUST BE AMRITDHARI. Khalsa Ji, whether or not 1 member from this forum believes me, or whether no body does, look at what these committee wale, whether or not Leamington or anywhere else, becareful, these old men, will bring on the downfall of the movement, just like the old guard Shiromani Akali Dal did during 84 and after.

Did or did not the committee state on stage that if today a minority of Sangat hold a Akhand Path in memory of these 'terrorists' then we can hold a Akhand Path for Indira Ghandi too as people consider her a Shaheed too? Bhai Sahib Ji, those issues be it X, Y or Z are still issues, they become issues because they are issues. Why dont you answer all of the questions asked to the committee instead of the selective ones? And providing justification for the Sharaabi committee. Bhai Sahib Ji, i have NOTHING against our Gurdwara Sahib, the arguement is against the Anti- Panthic committee, please try and understand this. What I am surprised at is if our beloved Parbandhak Committee is so milk washed why they cannot issue a simple statement on letterheaded paper? I'm not asking for a letter of reference because i want to apply for a job, this is a PANTHIC issue. What is holding the committee back in issuing this statement? Why can't they take a stance? Will the Committee members tomorrow say anything on stage in favour of Shaheed Singhs? We will see. This is so strange? Suddenly, not 1, not 2, not 3 at least 4 newbies' have started posting on Sikh Sangat in favour of the managing committee, doesnt the Sikh Sangat find anything strange about this? What have the committee got to hide? Why isit that the committee could not change the constitution to say only a Amritdhari can become a member of the committee or to say atleast 50% have to be Amritdhari or AT LEAST have to have their Dhari Kesh INTACT, instead of changing it to plant themselves in power of the Gurdwara Management forever? 20 of the 21 committee members are Non-Amritdhari, what does that say? 20 of the 21 are sharaabi's, if the sangat doesnt not believe, come along to a committee meeting you will be surprised. Bhai Sahib Ji, it seems obviously that you take the side of the managing committee. Or that it might stop Mr. Mota Singh and friends attending parties with the Consulate General of India? Bhai Sahib ji, you and i know very well what the committee is capable of, what they did during the Sangat's General Ajlaas (meeting) when the older generation rushed the stage and took the mic off the Ex General Secretary making his resign. We know what the older generation did during the election, shouting that who are these people, we made this Gurdwara etc etc, swearing in Guru Sahib's hazoori. Then the plot to change names of the OLD Gurdwara building to the Cultural society to open a hall to serve meat and sharaab. Changing the consitution, to suit the current committee. I ask why how many member of the committee that was selected in April 2011, are actually in the committee?? 5? 6? when the commiittee consists of 25? Why? Its SHAMBLES. The committee doesnt want to listen to the Youth try talking to them, they dont want to know. Please do not side line the Sangat. Bhai Sahib this is not an attack on the Gurdwara Sahib, but on the congressi/communist managing committee.
