At its third national convention, expected to be attended by 10,000 Sikhs, the Sikh Federation, which was established in 2003, called for Britain to stand true to its "moral and historic responsibility to help Sikhs regain their lost sovereignty" . Sikh Federation officials told TOI that they expected to share the limelight with cabinet office minister Pat McFadden, Rob Marris Labour Party MP for the heavily Sikh-dominant Wolverhampton South-West constituency and Sayeeda Warsi, the vice-chair of Conservative Party. The convention is described as the largest political gathering of Sikhs in the UK. The federation, which has run a high-pitched and concerted campaign for Sikh rights across Europe admitted

  8. Oh Sikho, look at what those Singhs did for your Shaaan!!?? The least you can do is attend your local vigil, you have no excuse, as it is in NEARLY EVERY TOWN/CITY around the world. Khalsa Ji, those Singhs are in jail awaiting the day that the tyrant indian government will pass a sentance to have them hanged till DEATH, but Khalsa Ji they also away, the day that our chains of SLAVERY will BREAK open and their VAARIS (us) will achieve their dream their goal of Khalistan. Sikho the least we can do AND THIS IS THE LEAST we can attend programmes that Sevadaars have organised, in cities around the world and near you, those Singhs never went to jail thinking they've done it for a certain group or person, they did it for the entire Sikh Qaum. So please please please accept this Daas's request in your Sangats feet of attending these events. Thank you in advance and thank you too ALL those sevadaar's who have worked day and night to make these vigils and past programmes a success! Guru Granth Panth Bless you all.
