  1. ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ

"Guru Nanak invented the Gurmukhi script in the form of "Gurmukhi Painti". At the time of Guru Nanak, Punjab had no set language. There were different dialects and scripts, e.g. Sharda Takri (Thakri), Persian and Bhatt Akhri, etc. The 52-letter script was a mixture of several languages.

Guru Nanak Dev ji observed that there were many superfluous letters in that script so he composed Patti, which depicted only 35 letters. He even gave the pronunciation of each letter. He asked Bhai Lehna (Guru Angad Dev Ji) to put all the letters in an alphabet form and in a proper order. Bhai Lehna who was a scholar, and poet, and was also fully conversant with all these scripts readily agreed to accomplish the task. He prepared the alphabet and put the same to his Master who gave his approval. As Bhai Lehna devised the script, the same is known as Gurmukhi - a language devised by a Gurmukh at the instance of the Guru. This script was adopted by all the composers of Bani."

Okay, I was reading the link you gave and the writer came to the same conclusion I did.

The name Gurmukhi is derived from the Old Punjabi term "gurumukhī", meaning "from the mouth of the Guru".

  2. ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ

There appears to be a lot of confusion regarding Punjabi and Gurmukhi.

People make the assumption that there is a language called Punjabi (what we use everyday) and there is the language called Gurmukhi - the language used to write the Guru Granth Sahib.

So are there two languages?? Did the Gurus use different language called Gurmukhi?? The answer is No.

It would be more accurate to say one speak's Punjabi and read's or write's Gurmukhi.

Remember - Punjabi is language (what we speak). Gurmukhi is a script (how we write Punjabi).

(Punjabi is also written using shahmukhi (urdu) and devanagari (hindi) scripts)

    http://www.discoversikhism.com/punjabi/punjabi_gurmukhi.html

Doesn't Gurmukhi mean from the Guru's mouth. Making it only the Guru can write gurmukhi and everyone else writes punjabi?

  3. Waheguru ji, Sikhs have not ritualised the panj kakkar as you suggest, we are required by the panj piaray to keep them on us at all times and they are not just there for the physical reasons, they are also there for spiritual reasons which is why we take kachera of one leg at a time, keep kirpan on in shower, tie keski around waist during kesh ishnaan etc

May you tell me these spiritual reasons?

  4. Patit? Was she ever amritdhari? As you can only be patit if you had Amrit.

Also the movie Char Sahibzaade, have you seen it? Then you will know Who made it? Who financed it, easy as his photo appears at the start? Why only praise the product, and not look at who made it.

Apply same logic here look at the end achievements of this women without criticising her.

A sikh who has not taken amrit also can become patit. Any Sikh who cuts hair is a patit.

Clearly she cuts hair to fit in with the western mindset.

  5. This is an older forum but I am curious if you could have a small kirpan on necklace for showering?

Also the dastaar is not a kakaar??? (limb) so why can't you set it down for showering?

I have heard of people only draping dastaar over head when sleeping and not tying it....is this acceptable?

    Excuse my ignorance

    Ty

Today the sikhs have made Kakkars into rituals. Kirpan is a reminder to stay strong in difficult times and is kept dull from preventing Sikhs from defending themselves and others....backwards beard tying british worshipping Sikhs. The Guru gave the kirpan to defend and told us to keep it on us as ang because you don't know when and where you will be attacked. We live in homes with locks and bathroom doors are locked. The Singhs in the past bathed in rivers and on farms where you are easy target if not armed all the time. Don't worry your parents wont attack you in the comfort of their home. They would rather smack you across the head out in public to show you who is boss.

Kanga is used to keep the hair hygiene up. We keep it on us all the time because we are able to keep hair hygiene even if we get lost in the city with millions of signs directing you back home for days. Let's face it no Singh is taking his nike shocks out in the forest or mountains these days and not coming home for days.....nike will get dirt on them. Singhs in the past were always on the move from one battle to another. They had to be on top if their game. Today Singhs are on top of there battlefield 4 and call of duty.....

Kara is.... i think everyone gets the picture. Hold it in your fist and go punch something. See how effective it is. If its gold throw it in the trash.

Kachera....i love wearing it. Feel so relaxed in it and the agility in it is awesome. So comfortable. One leg at a time and making sure it does not reveal and private area is a good technique if showering at your local river while the white people stare out of their apartment buildings. If you in the comfort of a bathroom and scared that your shadow might see you naked then turn off the light.

Hair the worst kakkar of them all. I can't be Hollywood or bollywood. Cant touch a hair on the body but some Singhs violently comb their hair taking out chunks. Beadbi or stupidity, you be the judge. Jokes aside, Those who cut hair will never be able to accept Guru Gobind Singh hukams or receive his blessing. The uncut hair is our crown. Respect it and keep it clean.

  6. Women should decide themselves if they're comfortable doing seva of Maharaj because not all women are the same. Some have heavier flows whereas others do not. So for some men (and women) to generalize and prohibit other women from doing seva is not the right thing. Each woman to their own. Women know what they can or cannot handle and if someone wants to do seva of Maharaj they certainly should have enough sharda to refrain from doing seva when they know they cannot guarantee suchamta. Otherwise if a woman can guarantee suchamta I don't see why everybody else needs to interfere with her relationship with Maharaj.

Can humans decide to kill themselves without society interfering? Yes, but progressive countries disallow it. What is the logic behind a state law not allowing a human to kill themselves? Why can't a person kill themselves, if they really wanted too? Is there logic or are these progressive countries dictatorships wanting to take over other humans lives for their benefit? What about the possibility of x killing y and y didn't want to die, but x covers it up as a suicide? Is this a good reason for the state to say we should interfere in self killings? What about y does not have the mental capacity to decide whether to live or die? Does the state interfere and disallow it? What if x kills y and says y is crazy and killed himself? Should we turn a blind eye and let x go on his way and kill others in the same way. The country has to put in laws to protect society interest and individual interest and many times the state favors society interest over individual interest. Here is an example that is more closer to home. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji told Sikhs to keep weapons on them. Yet state laws disallow Sikhs from keeping weapons on them all the time. Even the Kirpan is disguised as a ceremony article of faith in law to prevent state security laws from prohibiting Sikhs from carrying a kirpan. Your Guru said to keep weapons, so why don't you go out and keep a modern weapon like a pistol on you as your Guru has told you? Why is your religious freedoms being restricted for security of society? Why can't you a religious free woman wear a kirpan on the plane? Why are state security laws held higher than your individual religious freedoms? Say the state allows not only you, but other religions or person to carry weapons openly and freely without any restrictions other than it cannot be used in a crime. What will happen to society? The crazy people will use these weapons to murder, steal, rape, and loot others. We cannot say who will do it and when they will do it. So what have the progressive countries done? They have completely banned firearms or put on tight restrictions to decrease the possibility of a crazy person to use a firearm in a crime. Weapon related crimes still take place in these countries, but they are margin compared to the cowboy and indian countries who allow a buy one get three firearms free policy.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is no book or poetry just to learn from and feel good about like a normal book. Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is the living Guru. For humans to deal with the living Guru there are guidelines and proper methods to interact with the Guru. Gursikhs have taught a tradition right from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji of how to uphold to the guidlines and proper methods. DamDami Taksal is one of the schools of Sikhi who have continued to teach the Sikh masses of these guidelines. Respect and security of the Guru is held higher for them and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji than individual religious freedom, no matter how crazy it may sound to others. Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji proved this to us by saying Rehat is more dear to me than a Sikh. He held the law and the Khalsa Panth security higher than individual wants and needs, whether their claims were religious or not. When a Singh or Kaur claims, I can do x or y, but Rehat Maryada of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji, not this man made one by SGPC, states it cannot be done. Then it cannot be done by a Sikh of the Guru.

If a Kaur takes all the precautions and does the seva of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji during the cycle period. She should be allowed to do it without any restrictions. In the same manner you should be allowed to carry a firearm on you as your Guru says you should and in the same manner you should be allowed to carry your kirpan on you on the airplane. Yet, how do you control for the crazy non Sikh person who carries a kirpan or knife on the plane and hijacks it to blow up buildings and kill people? Individual religious freedoms are squashed for society security to live. It comes down to pride and giving up a little to serve a bigger purpose in life for your Guru. You can still read Gurbani from a gutka and partake in other seva during this time of the month. I have seen the crazy nonsense people use to justify there wrong doings while doing seva in the langar hall and of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. They compromise Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji's respect for personal wishes and failures to uphold themselves to Rehat Maryada. If a person like me speaks up i get hurled with insults. If these people were so inclined to practice truth, they would not hurl insults at me, but go on a plane with a kirpan on. But these people do not because they fear the consequences of being jailed? They fear the worldly people and worldly punishment. Sant Baba Nihan Singh ji was a soorma, who stood guard while Bibian did kirtan in Sri Harmandir Sahib and challenged the government when a Gurdwara was over run by masands and would not allow Akhand Paaths to be parkash. Almost lost his life in the latter act. This Gursikh agrees with the Maryada we discuss. Do not write off Maryada either by Nihang's and Taksals as nothing because the western mindset is in disagreement or it makes Sikhs look bad in the media. Read into it and ask the people who have done the sangat of Gursikhs from jathabandis started from Sri Guru Gobind Sahib ji.

  7. Nah, it is about your true hindu, brahaman, ritualistic, "hollow sucham" mindset.

Being more graphic might help move it along. The same pad can't be worn all day because it gets filled with blood. Women need to shower often during their periods to stay clean. Even after showering the blood keeps coming until the period ends. Women do not wear white under garments during this period because even with the pad the blood stains the clothing when there is a lot of blood. So what makes you think the clothing worn over the under garments cannot get stained? Guru Nanak called those brahaman(blind) who did not think through ideas like give water to the dead. It seems to me you put your hands over your ears when sex education was being taught in fear of the word sex. Why do true Sikhs like yourself wash a baby after it is born. The baby came from the pure women womb covered in the pure fluids. Why wash off the purity? Why don't doctors let other pure humans with flues and coughs around just born babies? Could it be because there is a chance the new born baby could get sick?

Guru Nanak Dev ji taught logic and not putting a blind fold on because some new aged brahamans cannot understand logic and keeping respect.

  8. This has nothing to do with women being impure during this period of the month. But it was a precaution for women not to sit on the taba during this period of the month. Also some women do not know when they will get the first day of the cycle and being stubborn about it and sitting on the taba can cause a mess. It comes down to which women do you allow during this period to sit on the taba and not. Some are prepared and some are the stubborn.........i don't care because i am big headed. To keep everything clean the fast rule is no one is allowed to during this time of the month. Unless there is a strict rule made women have to make sure no mistakes are made and they follow this rule to make sure everything stays clean and now there will be no problem with them doing seva of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji during this period of the month. But everyone thinks they know better than the next person standing in the langar line up. For saying this much, i will be labeled with many hateful names, but these same people will go into rage if I drop a piece of dirt from my shoe on to their car floor or a piece of food on to their car seat by mistake.

  9. They spend 350 000 on program expenses. What does program expenses even mean. Take a look at their expense and it seems as if they have no employees. There is no section listed as employees. I think employee cost is blended into program cost which will cover up how much Gurumstuk Singh and Guruka Singh make to "run" Sikhnet.

  10. The Arora and Khatri Sikhs I've met around London etc not only marry within their same surname and extended family but the Arora ones even marry their own chacha, thaya, pooah and mammeh's sons and daughters. In fact, the exact same first cousin marriage custom as the muslims.

And this is one of the reasons why it is important to know a potential spouses background. Sikhs live in a bubble who claim we should not look at last names and learn about the family background. Sikhi doesn't say put a blind fold on and just ask if the other person is a Sikh. Don't be naive, we live in kalyug not satyug.

  11. Recently becoming the highest grossing Indian animation films of all time (with out inflation adjustments), as well as the First 3D Sikh Movie, Chaar Sahibzaade has pretty much become a cultural phenomenon and a new Sikh Multimedia staple. The movie has been praised for its emotional and unbiased portrayal of one of the most important chapters of Sikh history. The movie has topped the business chart in other countries as well such as the UK, Australia and New Zealand. The movie has collected £81,348 (Rs 79.45 lakhs) from 16 screens in the UK, A$141,387 (Rs 75.31 lakhs) from 22 screens in Australia and NZ$33,832 (Rs 16.20 lakhs) from 7 screens in New Zealand in the first weekend. It has, in fact, pushed Shahrukh Khans Happy New Year down to second place in all these countries.

The Punjabi version of the movie alone is on its way to become the highest grossing Indian animation film ever which at the moment is Hanuman released in 2005 after grossing around Rs 5.25 crore in net collections.

The movie has received a rather high rating of 9.9 on IMDB. The State Governments of Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab and Uttarakhand have also declared the movie tax free. These are certainly some encouraging numbers for the Indian animation industry.

I myself has personally watched the movie on big screen and yes its a great Movie.

But Does the popularity earned by this Movie does seem to be over-hyped? Well I hate to not give you a straight forward answer, but its both a Yes and a No.

Now why yes? Well its obvious, isnt it?

This is the first 3-D Animated Movie in Sikh History.

    • This is the first time that a movie based on Sikh history has been released in so many languages and on such an expounding level.
    • This is the first time a movie on Sikh History has been released on a world-wide level in prominent Cinemas.
    • This is the first movie that even Singh Sahibaans from Sri Hazur Sahib have watched in the Cinema Halls.
Theres certainly more Im not covering, but yes this movie tied in new technology with breath taking Animated characters and art, and it came out as close to perfect as one could hope. Well, maybe not completely perfect

See nows the part where youre probably going to send me an emotional email. The part where we talk about why this movie might not be deserving that big hype

First off, Im talking about through its content, the Community hard-earned money, the sudden fan army and the measurable outputs. Does Chaar Sahibzaade Movie deserve it all? Frankly there are some strong points against it.

Let us first look into the word Hype itself. I have noticed from some facebook walls that some people did watch the Chaar Sahibzaade movie upto five times in a single month even. Really?? Why??? Was it the 3-D effects, or the beauty of technology embedded in the animated characters, the music or the story itself, that touched ones heart to such an extent. I can understand kids watching the same movie repeatedly but why will you watch it more than once or say twiceIsnt five times too much and that too in a single month? Shouldnt the same time be better spent on the teachings learnt from the movie itself rather than addicting oneself to watch it again and again on the Big screen.

There are organizations which are writing to Akal Takhat Sahib to categorise this movie as Educational Movie. Well sure, but then why not the other previously released animated movies like the ones released by Vismaad, CSJS Productions and many others. Is it because those movies were not released on a bigger scale or had such a popularity as gained by Chaar Sahibzaade movie

Scrolling through the content, there were many distorted facts in the Movie which I have already covered in my other article on review about this movie as well. Those were Khanda Insignia on the Dastaars of Sahibzaades, which was not even invented at time of Gurus. Also Mata Gujri ji has been shown without dastaar while she was a dastar wearing Singhani and was never weak or emotional too as shown in the movie. The dialogues of Moti Mehra ji were also not correctly scripted. In saying that, I do not mean to wholly contradict the movie as it can happen with any other project or movie too. But when a movie is so much over-hyped and also watched by Prominent Sikh dignitaries, it becomes highly important to have correct sequence of facts shown on the big screen. Also I would not complain about the distorted facts to the Director or Story-writer as the movie is directed under guidance of SGPC and other well-learned Sikh Historians.

No doubt that the Movie is portraying a very important chapter of Sikh History and its a great educational tool for our upcoming generations, but we need to understand if it is worth the Money that we have spent on the movie. The Directors might have spent nearly Rs 40 crores on the movie but the output we have given them is for Rs 300 Crores. Have we ever thought that this money has actually gone out of our community? Is this money well-spent or evidence of chronic waste? According to a study done by Australian Researchers, The money spent is twice as efficient if it stays within the community and it helps keeping the community alive and support better needed projects.

Infact Money is like blood. It needs to keep moving around to keep the economy going. If too much money is spent outside the community even for the community projects, the money (blood) still flows out, but like a wound.

Sikh community has recently evidenced many Film-directors and producers from within our community who have brought really good Sikh movies like Proud to be Sikh, Sundri, Bhai Taru Singh ji, Empty Inside, Rakhe Harmandir de, Ujjar thaon vaseo and many more. But I think only 5% of the Chaar Sahibzaade Audience only might have watched or heard about the above movies as the producers of those movies had limited funds to release them on Big Screens. But just imagine the output and benefits if the same money flows via the Sikh Directors and producers who can provide a similar output. That way we will also create more jobs for our own people and promote Sikhi Naale Punn te Naale Faliyan.

Moving further, Some people claim that many people took amrit or promised not to cut their hair after watching the movie Chaar Sahibzaade. Well, our heartiest congrats to those, who were inspired and took a step further towards a Gursikhi Jeewan. Firstly let me tell you there were two main Fake pictures posted on Social Media One telling 34 Radha Soamis took Amrit after watching the movie and other showing people sitting in Akal Takht Sahib awaiting to get Amrit di daat. Both the pictures had no source and were just hyped by FB Posters. People do get emotional after watching such movies and no doubt 1% of those might even make some big decisions about their life-style changes as well, but there is also proven evidence that behaviour might get altered but soon disappears too as soon as one walks outside the Cinema like a puff of bubble. Studies also show that movies can have a direct, but not sustained effect on behaviour.

Let us now take a look at some of the low-budget Sikh Movies like Bhai Taru Singh ji by Vismaad Productions or Proud to be Sikh directed by Satdeep Singh. I myself have personally evidenced the people with tearful eyes and many promising the same as well that they wont cut their hair in future or will prepare for Amrit. So my point is that if a low-budget movie can offer the same output, isnt it better for us to save money and then spend that saved money in other much-needed projects in Sikhi. We need to measure the outputs Is it just the 3-D effects, the fun, the tearful eyes for few minutes or are we measuring a bigger picture. No doubt, such movies are a great educational tool for our future generations but question is at what cost?

Some people may argue on this that the money given back to producers like Harry Baweja will promote other Bollywood producers to bring more such movies on Sikh History in the Market. But my question is Is that what we want? Do every time we want to return 10 times to the producers outside the community and especially to the ones for whom it is just a business. Have we done enough Needs-based assessment? Have we determined what output is it going to bring to Sikh Community. We dont need to measure only short-term benefits but should look towards long-term goals as well.

There is much more we can get into this, but I believe we need to first PAUSE here and think about above points first. So, I guess were back to where we started. Does one, Sikh movie deserve this constant overabundance of hype?

No matter, how educational, emotional the movies may be, we need to think from all angles and we need to limit the money spent. People may argue that its better to spend money watching such movies rather than spending same money on another bollywood movie portraying Sikhs as jokersbut lets even look at a wider picture. Something IS NOT ALWAYS better than NOTHING.

Pls think strategically considering Long term goals, think from Gursikhi point of view and then provide your feedback or comments.

Brother, thank you for being the one who looks at it from a clear point of view. This movie is a new fad and will attract sikhs to Sikhi but only for the bubble second.

I look at our brothers from the 17 century who had no movies, internet, fast communication devices, fast transportation vehicles or anything, yet they moved faster than light toward Sikhi and gave their neck for Sikhi in a heart beat. They had their families, and belongings on their back. Didn't know at times when their children will get a meal to eat, yet they achieved so much with so little. Today we have more than the Sikhs can handle and we are spiritually bankrupt. Where did we go wrong?

  12. If we look at Sikh history we notice how 5 Nitnem Banis are showing us this story cannot be true. Tvad Parsad Swaiyve is not one Bani, but swaiyve from a differnt Bani in Sri Dasam Granth. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji gave Amrit to the Sikh by taking these Swaiyve out of Sri Dasam Granth and not reading the whole Bani. The Sikhs were well aware of it and had no problem or objected to it. The Sangat would not later on turn around and curse Bhai Mani Singh who did the same thing his Guru did. Also before some chose to distinguish between Dasam Bani and Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Gurbani has this to say about Dasam Bani.

    ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਬਣੀਐ

The Gurus Bani is the true form and through Gurus Bani we become perfect as the Gurbani. ang 304

  13. Here is a good write up of these events.

    http://www.sikh24.com/2014/09/11/giani-thakur-singh-patiala-acknowledges-accusations-denies-molestation-charges/#.VGkEODTF9FI

Some imporant and telling questions asked in the article show the Bibi is not lying:

In the video, when the Sikh woman asks Giani Thakur Singh about how he ended up kissing her, he does not deny the fact but states that it happened due to her ‘karams’.

A clarification has now been made by Giani Thakur Singh, acknowledging that the phone conversation actually did happen, however due to the fact that he was sitting in sangat at the time, he could not attend the call properly.

he has stated that the phone call was recorded when he was sitting in sangat, this is why he could not attend the call properly. However, before the bibi brings up the issue of molestation, Giani Thakur Singh seems to be talking with much interest.

Both videos leave a few questions unanswered, such as why Giani Thakur Singh is hiding the identity of this woman—he could personally intervene and solve the problem.

Previous, but unsubstantiated, allegations of sexual misconduct in other countries with other women have dogged him in the past, but more recently his respect and audience have grown.

  14. If today I write another Panth Parkash for this time period and write Badal family were the greatest family for the Khalsa Panth will the future Sikhs blindly try to justify what I have wrote in a Granth? I surely can blindly justify how Badal family is the the greatest for the Khalsa Panth in a heart beat. They keep getting re-elected in Punjab the homeland of the Sikhs, Badal got the award for fakhr e kaum from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, they donate so much of their revenue toward Sikhi, Badal family built the Shaheed Memorial at Sri Akal Takht Sahib for 1984, the Sikh leaders of puratan jathabandis like Budha Dal and DamDami Taksal have complete respect for him and even sit lower than him to show him this respect. The list can go on and everyone knows these are all lies. However, who can find facts to refute what I have said 200 years from now? I would be labeled as an extremist, fanatic, and taliban for simply saying this write up of the Badal Family is not accurate.

  15. You have to understand that a lot of historic Sikh texts are varied on certain specific points. Matters are cleared if you attempt to understand the author's mindset rather than what he is writing.

To get a message across to the sangat, the writer of this text puts a stain on Bhai Mani Singh? This is not Sikhi. This is how sinister people with sinister motives act or this is how scriptures become corrupted and the latter followers of the religion blind try to find justifications which cannot be justified. From the first day Sikhi came out in the open there has been deliberate attempts to discredit those who have written Gurbani and have sacrificed their lives for Sikhi. Such a stain on Bhai Mani Singh leads others to believe he could have had made a similar altering of compiling Sri Dasam Granth Sahib. Bhai Mani Singh's was the first trusted scribe of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji and this may be an attempt to discredit Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji as authentic.

And do not jump on the hinduphobia beating a dead horse rant. Who are we more likely to trust. A person Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji put as the scribe of the first Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji or the other guy or a text which can be changed? The story cannot be held credible because other historical accounts of changing of Gurbani were dealt with more harsh punishments. Ram Rai was excommunicated out of the Khalsa Panth. The Khalsa Panth would have had no mercy for Bhai Mani Singh and done the same. Instead he was cursed with being cut from limb to limb. Sikhs do no fear the death of the body, they fear the death of the soul. After such a grave deliberate act he would have lost the life game and went back to reincarnation cycle or worse. The theory the sangat blessed Bhai Mani Singh with forgiveness is ridiculous because they cursed him with death. It will be wishful thinking to believe he was given forgiveness in the same breath of cursing death. The theory of sangat taking a more relaxed stance on Bhai Mani Singh does not hold either because in 1929 Teja Singh Bhasaur Singh was excommunicated for taking certain Gurbani out of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Prof. Darshan Singh Ragi was most recently excommunicated for very similar reasons. No matter how high of a position was held in the Khalsa Panth all will or have got the ax for changing any of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Bhai Mani Singh would not have been no exception. The Sikh sangat of Bhai Mani Singh time were stronger in jeevans and gave their lives easily for Sikhi. They would not let such a grave mistake go off by cursing him to death.

  16. This is the real - Thakur Singh

The above video of Dr. Udhoke was put on youtube on March 4, 2012 and Giani Thakur Singh saying something else in the below video was put on youtube on May 2, 2011. One person is lying here and I don't believe anyone of them because both of these guys are gappys.

Giani Thakur Singh left Sri Harmandir Sahib on June 6, 1984. In the following video Giani Thakur Singh gives a detailed account of where he was on the following dates of the attack. If someone can find other videos of his accounts of where he was on these dates that would be very helpful.

Dr. Udhoke is not an innocent Sikh in this at all. He was caught having an affair with a woman in Canada.

  17. AkaalSevadaar, you guys have many great points in the analysis. Yet I don't agree with all of your analysis as it is trying to grab on strings that may not exist. I made my mind up even before your analysis by watching the Giani Thakur Singh response video and the original phone recording of the bibi and Giani Thakur Singh speaking about the unwanted touching. Giani Thakur Singh is guilty full out. His stance has no ground to stand on by him changing his story.

Good on your team for making sure this is done in a respectful manner. Back in May of 2014 there was a report of Shivteg Singh being caught in the act of an illicit affair with a woman in Ontario, Canada. How come such a strong stance was not taken against him as today your team has taken with Giani Thakur Singh? During this news Sikh Voice did not report the incident and neither did they comment on it. Where was everyone when Shivteg Singh was suppose to be investigated by the Panth? No blog went up of Shivteg Singh either. Before you write me off as a Giani Thakur Singh supporter, I would like to say I consider Giani Thakur Singh to be a Gappy when it comes to many points he makes with Shakti and talking about how the future turns out. He adds spices to his stories to attract sangat to his name brand; Giani Thakur Singh ji of DamDami Taksal. Be fair and have the same stance with the missionary side and do an investigation on Shivteg Singh. I believe after Shivteg Singh was exposed he still came to the UK and was doing Katha. It was not small news either.
