  1. Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Winnipeg all have Sikh schools. Generally high ranked as well. Vancouver & Toronto have huge Sikh communities, but expensive. Edmonton & Calgary have large Sikh communities as well, but economy a bit slow right now. Winnipeg is cheapest, growing Sikh community, but still have several 20%+ Sikh population neighborhoods. In other words, you have all the options you need.

you could ask him if would be OK if you meet the lads before the program to wish them  and tell him you don't feel comfortable taking part in active murti/agni puja  as it is not allowed in sikhi. If he is dharmic he will understand since he is your friend  and has seen how things are in Gurdwara.

If you do this, you will surely lose your friend. I don't see anything too wrong with going, but I wouldn't participate in any of their shenanigans lol. I'd just walk and immediately go take a seat somewhere.

You should have been there in Delhi in 84.

As for the evacuations. The buildings are in horrible condition. I agree they need to be torn down.  If they remain and crumble on their own, then we would have blamed government for it. However, the govt should provide some sort of assistance to these families while new homes are found.

In winnipeg they know us pretty well, many goreh I see say sat sri akal and greet us. I even know some who have karas from sikh freinds. Everyone seems to be aware of us at the least. Only 5 times ive been called a muslim/hindu.

I hear the Sikh community is really growing out there? Got quite a few neighborhoods with 20-30% Sikh population.

I can just imagine had we cleared East Punjab including a similar area of West Punjab so that Nankana Sahib and over 85% of our historical shrines were under our rule, the siapa the likes of Ravi Singh and other liberal SJWs would have been creating would have been unbearable. Even though we suffered ethnic cleansing in 1947 from the so-called religion of peace our SJW are now actively assisting Muslims to build new Mosques in our Punjab and creating an environment where Muslims will become a powerful minority against in our Punjab. God save us from our SJWs.

But we did clear East Punjab, I mean their population went 40% average in East Punjab districts too low single digits now. I do agree these SJW would be denouncing our forefathers in some weak attempt of unity of forgiveness. Probably find ways to try and show we started it ?

It gave Sikhs a stronger identity. A open challenge to Nirankaris in 1978 was the turning point.

This, and woke up a sleeping nation. As for OP, idk what sort of "facts" you're looking for. Suspicious thread imo.

what about all the illegal immigrants from Punjab? i don't think they are included in the census ? If they are then then our population would be a lot higher. places like slough, hounslow, hayes, southal etc are full of fojis lol

Pretty sure no census includes illegals.

given that we never agreed to the Indian Constitution techniquely are we Indian? Given that we were born to be sikhs before anything else and that is where our first loyalty lies I see no wrong in calling ourselves sikhs ethnically since we have our own culture, written language /literature , History as a seperate nation prior to the Raj ... we have no real commonality with the ethos of brahmin led majority barring being humans.

I wasn't disagreeing with it. Just questioning their logic is on same page as mine.

Thats probably one of the more realistic scenarios in which a raj is formed. That or somehow democratically and demographically taking india. No way india will just hand over land to us in the current state.

And nor did the Brits. An interesting thought is how would all these liberal Sikhs feel about a Khalsa Raj on land pillaged, conquered, and ethnically cleansed by Sikhs? Or even about Sikhs of the old for ethnically cleansing Muslims from East Punjab?
