I think it's a good thing to do, but afterwards its probably worth going to pesh lol
Considering people here are going to pesh for pretty much eating an extra roti, tough mudder must be a guaranteed reason to pesh ???
reminds me of them brahmins.."oh nos some random Shudra touched me...brb need to have a bath like a bajillion times"

Use your grey matter and you will know that I did not insult the OP. I only said the OP is posting work of idiots. He then showed his upbringing and lack of social behaviour. I believe you need to go back to school to understand basic stuff.

Another story is that of bibi basant kaur i think. I dont know how accurate it is tho. Apparently Bibi Basant Kaur was captured by a muslim ruler. The muslim was gonna do nikah with her. She penned a letter to guruji and sent i off. It said something aling the lines of i have no choice. But i will not lose my dharam. And she used the muslims knife to stab her self to death when he came to take her to nikah. The letter reached guruji. And they say, that guruji who had never cried not at the martyrdom of his father or his sons or his mother. When he read that letter, a single tear fell down. I dont think this story is credible. But i did here it.
She didn't pen a letter to Guru Sahib but to Mata Sundri Ji, she was separated from the Guru army and followers during the attack at Sirsa River and left with Mata Sundri Ji but got seperated from there too, the mughal tried to cox her into marrying him but she got hold of his dagger and killed herself to protect her own honour. The Mughal then buried her with muslim rites but Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji later on buried her with sikh rites, though I dunno too much about this part, it could have been another Bibi.
really touching sakhi.

Every Religion or country has its capital, for us its Harmandir Sahib in the form of a Spiritual Capital (the amount of Bhagti done there is unparalleled in the world) and opposite it, we have our Political Captial in the form of the Akaal Takhat.

OP has some sort of a point, if Amritdharis were the only ones allowed to have AK, then perhaps all this interfaith nonsense might decrease slightly.

It's quite sad that the "enlightened" mystic beings on this forum, as always, decide to nitpick every single thing and ruin it for everyone else. Get back to your video games oh mystic ones, and let the people who want to read this just enjoy it. I've read parts of Dhaki's writings in the past, and they were very deep and spiritual... Perhaps these articles could be of use to someone (if only some people would just relax and let things be, instead of being whiny cry babies EVER SINGLE TIME. Another thread ruined. Congratulations.
so people correcting someone who said that the Guru of all beings felt pain is suddenly everyone being "enlightened", no one needs Brahmgyan to know basic facts that are uttered numerous times in Gurbani. If you really think posting things that are simply untrue in Sikhi and presenting them as facts, as being nothing more than "crying " then you really are autistic.

I didn't say they weren't able to not feel the pain.
I'm saying they chose to embrace it, detach n move on.

^ that pretty much covers what I was gonna say. You cant say they were within Duality and choose to not accept it when duality never was a thing for them.

Physical pain we feel. We feel the morning breeze on our face, the raindrops on our hair, we smell the beautiful fragrances of nature.
So why wouldn't a Bhagat feel physical pain? What you're describing is duality.
No what you're describing is duality, Duality is the being seperate, Bhagats and Guru Sahib are one with God. Those who are one with God feel no pain, heck that itself is something humans can accomplish through meditation. Yet you are sitting there saying that Akaal Purkh himself in his Sargun form no less would feel pain?
They are aloof from this world. Don't bring them down to your level, it only hurts your own spirituality.

This is not an official portrait..... it is the creation of giani thakur singh based on what he was told about what mata Ji looks like.
The best place to get a pic of Mata is from Mata Ji’s actual asthaan...... Gurdwara Mata Sahib Deva in Hazur Sahib. They have an old portrait of Mata there & it looks nothing like this picture.
Theres massive amounts of kirpa at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Deva..... I’m pretty certain the jathedar (currently baba Prem Singh) & other sevadars there would have a better idea of what Mata looks like based on personal darshan etc
Cool stuff bro, any info I can use to contact them? do they ship abroad?

The Guru doesn't feel pain, don't be daft people. They're the highest of all and completely untouched by the world. Pain is a part of the material world for us to experience, not them.
