You are not married. I thought you are probably in 40's by the type of your replies.

Unfortunately brother I live under the tyranny of the missus..I signed up for it. Bachan was made. I often also find it difficult to believe. But yes I am married.

But you got 1 out of 2 right. I am in my 40s.

I reckon your younger than me based on your replies?

The amount of energy you spent on protecting evolution theory.  And dont down play it now.  Your first post was written as if you wanted to have a go at kulbir Singh.  Had you spent that energy asking questions we would not be having this conversation right now.

Go ask kulbir Singh how he translates life form.  He wrote it up.

This is the inherent problem with Sikhs.  They will defend worldly knowledge or theories with everything they got.  But when it comes to standing up for Sikhi.  Well then it's up to the individual how they want to interpret Gurvani and make the mass follow it.  But this is not all Sikhs fault.  They grow up brainwashed by their western school system.   They taught religions are all the same, but science is the hard fact.   And we see that here in this topic.  You may have spent 10 years studying science and you are all tangled up because someone didn't present science as you were taught.  But what about that high school teacher or university professor who butchers your religion and you sit back and take it like good citizens because everyone is entitled to their feelings.  What separate a Gursikh from a Sikh? When he hears bad mouthing of Sikhi, his core aad shakti is provoked and nothing matters more than speaking the truth.

What is the gurbani theory of evolution or creation? I see nothing in sikhi that is at odds with the the theory of evolution?

Gurbani tells us not to listen to profane songs in exchange of kirtan/ doing bandagi , but it's your choice ... agreed stop asking retarded questions , sikhi is totally a personal relationship to the divine.

Where in gurbani does it tell us that?

Guru it also predicted the invasion of feminists. Guru sahib says a day will come when men won't listen or respect there parents but will follow their wives, so women will take over.

If you look around women run families now, no wonder families are breaking up. Families were a lot more tight knit and successful when men were in charge.

    Guru sahib was right ...

Where exactly did guru ji predict this? With all due respect Please don't make statements like this without making a reference

    what nonsense !

if there's no follower of a religion left, how can that religion be called alive ?

Truth is eternal and everlasting.. Infinite.. Sikh philosophy can never die as it expresses truth.. Your statement that it is 'nonsense' that if there are no followers of a religion then how can a religion be called alive actually points to the fact that maybe you should not wed yourself to 'religion' and more to the message?

And...the bejewelled laptop comes out again. The great Hindu Gods gather round it. There is much merriment and joy in the room. They can't believe what they're reading. They are overjoyed. On a 'Sikh' site there are 'Sikhs' pontificating 'Hinduism'. "Hooorah....Hooorah" the Gods say in delight. "Bravo" says another. "Our job here is done" "and now we can safely put the diamond encrusted laptop away again and get back to whatever it is we were doing"

Atleast try and say something intelligent.. The site is a sikh Sangat platform.. I know you probably think you have unlocked the truth and are enlightened but conversation and khoj is a part of sikhi not alien to it.. Why don't you just become a wahabbi Muslim if you are looking for absolutes?

of course it matters between hindu matt and hinduism.

Again when Guru ji talks about hindus, he could be saying it in a cultural way as well. As in hindus practiced stone worship as cultural and folk traditions way etc Such as many punjabi sikhs practice punjabi traditions, it doesn't make it a matt, more of a culture.

We must must must get out of this gora mentality before looking at terms such as hindu and hinduism. The Gurus bani is in dharmik framework, not gora or middle eastern abrahamic framework!

If you wish to get out of the so called "gora mentality" then you have to ask what is it about that mentality that is restrictive..?

there is so significant evidence mate, there is none.

    there is no causal relationship.

how do we know the increase in temperature, isn't because of some gas leak by tectonic plates, or the moon moved close to the earth? or some other stuff?

We know because rational science tells us to accept what we can observe and measure. The evidence is overwhelming. and yes of course we can say what about this or that but until we can find evidence to support a counter narrative we have to accept the facts as they are..

However science is based around the idea that we have to try and disprove a proposition.. So climate change like all science is based on eliminating all the possible other propositions and climate change and increase in temperature is unquestionably linked to human behaviour and the release of carbon into the atmosphere

I did fully believe in it and still do, but have read a David Icke book and he makes a good case with arguments that ‘global warming’ is just government propaganda to try to control people

Are you being serious... David icke makes a good case that it is all propaganda? Before or after reading David icke on this topic did you read any books by any actual scientists?

BOS say where they are going to use money and we can see exactly it is used for only that  whereas Sikhnet claim they will use it for , well they never say completely just say to keep the site going , but then you see videos which promote antigurmat lines of thought under the banner of sikhi , also in the early days the site was neutral in targetting, had loads of goracentric imagery but now everything has been brownfaced to what end ? well to cynically target the same brown sikhs' money e.g. 'Aunty wants to talk you ' (and who they failed to support in India during their hard times even emotionally)

No I disagree bos don't elaborate very well on where they spend the money.. Have you ever looked at their charity declarations?

There are thousands of Hindu's with the surnames Bedi, Bhalla and Sodhi who claim to be between the 18th to 20th generational kul of Guru Sahibaan. They operate very profitable Mandirs which have one cheap painting of Guru Nanak inside them batched with various idols and collect all the money offered from Sikhs naive enough to pass through.

There are also many Mehra's and Dutt's who are Hindu yet claim to be the descendants of (sehajdhari Sikh) Moti Ram Mehra and Amritdhari Shaheed Kirpa Singh (formerly known as Pandit Kirpa Ram Dutt).

This pakhand is not only restricted to India as now there are even Muslims in Pakistan earning money out of naive and gullible Sikhs by claiming to the Muslims descendants of the first Guru ka Sikh (Bhai Mardana Ji).

The question that has to be asked is why would Guru Sahibaan and Sikh Gurmukhs whose descendents were provably part of the Sikh Sangat change from faith in Ik Onkar to believing in pedophile slaveowners or the caste system and worshipping cows? Or is that Sikhs encourage this pakhand by virtue of our gullibility? Whereas if someone tried to make a living by claiming to be a Christian or Jewish descendent of Muhammad they would be laughed out of court and similarly most Hindu's avoid claiming to descendants of Lord Buddha or Mahavir Jain as they know that most Buddhists and Jains are too smart to be fooled by such nonsense. But Sikhs on the other hand can easily be conned by charlatans and pakhandi's

You don't know what you are talking about

I am not sure what Sikhnet are about and what their aim is. The main guy behind it all. I forgot his name.  Akal Takt does not recognize 3ho as Sikhs. Yes they believe in many things Sikhs do. But they also have different beliefs such as kundanali yoga ect.

I am not sure what the aim of their website is. They have a news section about sikhs and punjab. Maybe they want all Sikhs to become like them?  As they dont have hardly any pics of their own type ie whites. but mainly brown people.

They also ask for donations. I wonder if gullible Sikhs are donating to them.

Basics of Sikhi also ask for donations?
