ok moving on, lol, whatabout this Gurudwara situation? I mean, i don't know if it happens in Canada or america, but in england, a lot of Gurudwara's have a specific caste allocation...meaning, that only Jatts are allowed to go to a Jatt Gurudwara etc... By the way, i am 100% against the caste scheme, BUT as my ancestors are Jatts, i have to say this:- Not all Jatts drink Sharab! I think ppl who do drink sharab are from all castes

Secondly, i know how exactly u feel, cus my little bro goes to an all gora school. we were worried at first, but if u explain that wearing a turban is your choice and part of ya religion most of them will understand. Also, the ppl who still don't understand that, will over time. So long as u make a few decent friends there u should be ok. the last thing u do, is show that them insulting you (if they do) bothers u, otherwise they'll persist. i think caste doesn't matter...in that all gurudwaras shouldn't just have a specific caste... But when it comes to marriage, i think it's wise to marry into the same caste. Btw, it's going to take a LONNNNNNNG time for ppl (especially traditional ppl) to forget about the caste...

i bet our parents thought about this before they got married...but MOST of them only want to protect their children with best interests. That's why they say things like:- * 'Wear appropriate clothes! Don't go around showing off your tedd!' * 'Don't give your number to boys! Their parents might think that your desperate' * 'Why u need to wear make-up for? U wear make-up after u are married, ucha!'

but has anyone noticed how some young idiots have nicknames with their cast in it? e.g. Jatt-king etc Oh and i think ppl will laugh at this...but i don't suppose anyone of u have heard of the Notorious Jatts? Hellooooooooo, i was looking through some videos on youtube.com and i couldn't believe my earsssss when there was this one video which included sikh ppl who were bragging about being a Jatt!!!!!!!!! And they didn't even look as if they were committed to their religion cus they were holding Vodka and had cut hair!!!! So i wanted to ask, has anyone noticed how ppl are really pathetic when it coems to castes?
