When the maharaja of patiala sold out to the British and tricked the Nihangs into attending a meeting where close to 30,000 Nihangs were murdered whilst they slept what did the sikhs do to help the Nihangs?

when the British adopted a shoot on site policy to deal with any Nihangs who survived the massacre at patiala what did the sikhs do to help the Nihangs?

When Nihangs were forced to go into exile to Hazur sahib did the sikhs in panjab do anything to support thier Gurus fauj?

When the sgpc was formed & Nihangs were being forcefully removed by sikhs & even refused langar at gurughars where was the panths support for Gurus fauj?

Nihangs were denied any money from Gurus golak despite Guru Sahib giving a hukamnama that his fauj had first rights to funds from the golak for the upkeeping of fine horses & weapons why did the panth forget about the fauj?

fast forward 100 years.... the panth & sants who had placed their faith in the formation of sgpc 100 years earlier at the expense of Gurus fauj now cry out asking for help from the fauj as the reality of sgpc sets in. Now all of a sudden a fauj that was close to extinction 100 years ago with no funds for weapons & horses are supposed to be saviours of the same panth that abandoned them.

Everyone has to take responsibility for the mistakes made by both sides..... in the 1980s we had kharkus & Nihangs killing each other over issues like eating meat..... how pathetic is that, sikhs killing each other over what we eat to keep this temporary body alive.

The whole panth needs to learn from our mistakes & wake up to how we have been played & divided by our enemies.

Mahraj kirpa kare the panth unites & everyone carries out the seva they were supposed to do

I agree with what you say bro and like i said it hurts me to see the nihangs of today compared to what they should be like. As a quom we should wake up and realise why such measures were taken against nihangs...but you asking where were sikhs when X, Y, Z happened to nihangs is pathetic because last time i checked... nihangs were sikhs. in regards to kharkoos popping nihangs off due to eating meat, Sant Ji used to say that if you see an amritdhari eating meat or drinking - then set them on fire. sadly, due to there being dodgy nihangs some may have got dealt with by kharkoos. other nihangs such as phoola, kahna etc got dealt with for their paap, not for eating meat or maryada.

I have been among the Dals myself and the kanjar po I have witnessed has convinced me that it is high time now that all these sampradas and jathas, who are doing nothing whatsoever for the common Sikh, be on the receiving end of the bullet.

what you saying is true... where have the mainstream nihangs been in terms of defending the panth? its a massive blow to the quam that the main nihang sampardama have flopped so bad, these were and still should be the front line defence of the quam. singhs like avtar singh brahma, and even now mintoo nihang have done well to show the world what real nihangs do, but all these other clowns who go to hola mohalla acting like some top warriors are all just for show - which hurts me to say.

  3. During the movement in the 80s it is said that 250 raw agents in sikhi saroop were sent out to the west to infiltrate the khalistanis. Questions still hang over many ISYF, Babbar, Dal Khalsa etc members. Also chauhan, aulakh, amarjeet, bains, dhillon etc all got question marks around them? we are stupid to think the movement wasnt sabotaged, if people like dr sohan  who had his own panthic comitee was a snitch then what hope was there for the rest? people like atwal, probs had josh back in the day, but lost it has he got older and switched sides.

  4. as much as i was proud of SK15, it appears nothing has been achieved. great idea making hawara the jathedar, but realistically what can he do from tihar jail? has the panth listened to him? there was no mention of khalistan at sk15, but the same mokham singh was the one who announced it at sk86? it seems as if the sk15 jathedars influence has declined massively, while none of the matheh passed seem to have been implemented? in hindsight it seems as it was a political tool used against the akalis?

I feel sorry for his wife/ bachey, if he's still married that is, he was always out attempting to preach/doss. Obviously he's not all bad as he was involved in setting up the original Boss camps and does have a level of shardha but wants the attention to go alongside and, hasn't clocked his time to leave the student scene is loooong overdue. End of the day everyone has strengths and weaknesses ?

i thought he was with a gori now? i dont even think hes involved in the student scene sikhi wise, the bhangra scene then yes LOL. the guy is a laughing stock, looks like a younger version of baba dhumma

No, bhang and sukhnidaan would replace the alcoholism, so it would be better! But none of this silly weed stuff.

Also more of the panth needs the warrior and survival skills; 1984 and 1947 karma happened to us because we lost the skills due to SGPC and jatehbandis' rehits

sikhs are always students? If a sikh stops learning then there's a problem!

lol so allow your average punjabi hitting the sesh on glassiyah but tell them to jump onto bhang? Bro you are deluded, why dont we together to bring our nau jawani all forms of nasheh and show the light of sikhi and we can do  easily by leading by example. my circle consists of very few amritdharis, purely because a lot of full of BS which tbh i aint got time for. but also by stepping out of gursikh circles i am able to show others how the life of an amritdhari is, dont get me wrong i am far from perfect and consider myself to be a paapi, but even if i can lead by example for one other person then Waheguru has blessed me.

Regarding warrior skills... yeah we have lost a lot of it for various reasons, but the fire shown by the nau jawans of the 80s still shows the daleerhee of our quom, if you look back to then our biggest issue was the hating on each other, that ultimately led to our downfall.

And yeh all sikhs are students, BS bob is a middle aged guy who acts like a dodgy pradhaan of a university sikh society who uses sikhi saroop to chat to girls, session on the sly and meet like minded social outcasts.

    SNAKES.

Santa Singh was excommunicated from the Panth in 1986.

Baba Santa Singh chose Congress over the panth and had the sewa of Sri Akaal Takht Sahib funded by the same government that had once destroyed it. The true singhs of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj did not like this cowardly manoeuvre and on 26th January 1986 Sarbat Khalsa, the Jathedar Baba Thakur Singh Ji himself gave the leadership of the Budha Dal to Bhai Amrik Singh Jaura and tied him the dastar. It was also on this day that the sewa of Sri Akaal Takht Sahib was recommenced, but this time entirely by the Saadh Sangat.

Santa Singh should have never been Jathedaar again of the Budha Dal even after he came back into the Panth. Todays Dals are in total shambles.

Note. Bhai Amrik Singh Jaura was a Great Freedom Fighter who worked with Bhai Avtar Singh Brahma.

Amrik Singh Jaura did the seva on fake nihang kahana aswell (an action which is widely said to be done by shaheed sukhdev singh sakeera)

I don't even think the nihang wannabes practise jhatka and shikaar, I think I only see a few that actually do shikaar.

But what about the wannabes who want to dress in bana but follow their jathebandi practises? Are they not worse than the so-called wannabe nihangs?

bro i aint having a dig at nihangs, it breaks me to know that the pehredhaar of the kaum have now been reduced to a joke or going on large hyping over meat but not ready for any form of action. regards to others wearing bana but constantly slandering other jathebandis are just has bad, all these divisions in the panth i doubt are even out of sharda for Sikhi, its all self hype and trying to be bigger and better than each other. Until we truly bow our heads in shame in front of Guru Ji then we gona continue to suffer how we are

It's spelled you're. What I am is quoting google.

I'm pretty sure quoting legal acts isn't nindya.

For the record though, yes sometimes I am a besharam nindak.

Your boyfriend however is the one declaring people patit, casting aspersions at my truthful statements about myself in the forum, and talkin <banned word filter activated> about women, and entire organizations of people in general.

Probably while eating cereal in his mum's basement, while you both get schooled on call of duty with rediculous macho gamer tags in between rounds of dirtying every tube sock you own. Thinking that's somehow being a warrior.

The extra krodh on my part is free today.

    You're a besharam nindak. So there. ?

Meanwhile neither one of you want to address the guy trying to outlaw carrying kirpan or anything actually resembling a real problem, yall too busy on the third topic about Jagmeet getting married screaming patit and crying about my being besharam nindak when it doesn't even apply to the thread content. Well I guess now it MIGHT you wannabe <banned word filter activated>.

LOL proper little kid giving it loads behind a screen aint you. Maybe you should focus on speaking to real women in the real world instead of sitting around hating on others?

Do you think that suggests congress were the ones behind beadbi kaands?

Its black and white for me Simranjeet, Ajnala, Daduwal and other SK mukhis a gadars as much as SAD(B).   But would they stoop as low as supporting the above?? Im not sure.

Unfortunately not sure which credible potential leaders that leaves over in punjab.

    Sad state of affairs :(

Is it time to admit there are unlikely to be any or few khalse left in the motherland that are not behind bars.

Only Guru Ji can answer that, but i think its  clear most 'leaders' behind closed doors have got deals in place with either the Akalis or the congressys. and the ones who aint, are either locked up or got little voice/support

  11. Santa was a sell out and kicked out of the Panth as a result. Real Nihangs like Brahma and co represented, but then the so called Tarna Dal, Harivelan jathedars i dont know if they did much? I know there are quite a few nihangs who gave shaheediyah but as a whole the 'tyar baar tyar ladliya fauja' as a whole didnt do much

An old thread but just been thinking how quiet it is in punjab on thr sikh rights and justice front,  you would think since the badals are now out the picture, the sikh activists behind the sarbat khalsa would get moving again now the sikh butchers (congress) are back in control.

A few notable points that come to mind:

    1. The sikh killing congress are quite firmly in control of punjab.

    2. Badal Dal in freefall

    3. Still no closer to unhatching the planners behind the ang ripping of sggs mahraj across punjab 2-3 years ago

    4. Congress have recently dropped sedition charges against the front liners and jathedars related to the last two attempts of arranging sarbat khalse

    5. akali dal amritsar, baba daduwal and co shtum on biannual sarbat khalse.. all the issues they raised are still there though..... hmmmmmm????

Sounds like the likes of akali dal amritsar, baba daduwal and co have acomplished what they wanted hence no talk of future sarbat khalse. Stinks of a dodgy deal with congress and these fake sikh leaders especially (4), were they doing the bidding for congress all along????

The important kaumi issue (3) seems to have been "forgotten" by akali dal amritsar, baba daduwal and co, or was (3) just a convenient excuse for them to achieve (1) & (2).

Can't trust anybody at the sikh political top table.

Hopefully the world sikh parliament gets off the ground as diaspora sikh politics is more cohesive, less uncorrupted and not as pendu backward as punjabs sikh politics.. maybe this will lead to reformation of some kind of regular sarbat khalsa type gatherings to bring focus to actual issues and in turn addressing them.

Basically posted this to see if anybody else smells some rats in amongst; akali dal amritsar, baba daduwal and co??????

sukha amli and co did say during SK15 that it was set up by congress.... its a massive shame cus after SK15 things should have changed but in fact they are worse

Lol. You learn the definition of patit. Dude I'm a neophyte gora but I can google. Damn dude, really?

Its legal definition as inserted in the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925, through the amending Act XI of 1944:: Patit means a person who being a Keshdhari Sikh, trims or shaves his beard or keshas or who after taking amrit commits any one or more of the four kurahits.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971, contains a similar definition except a reference to keshdhari because unlike Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925, it defines only keshdhari, and not sahajdhari, as Sikhs. It states: "Patit" means a Sikh who trims or shaves his beard or hair (keshas) or who after taking amrit commits any one or more of the four kurahits.

    your a besharam nindak

I am not sure about the names of the singh but you should know that there were a couple of people in Canada who bombed a plane killed hundreds of innocent people. I forget their names as well.

    Those guys are actual terrorists

I know who you are referring to and i dont agree they were terrorists. Read a book called soft target and maybe then you will reassess.

To anyone who is replying, this thread isnt about Air India 329 in 1985, so dont bother bringing that up on this thread (that topic has been done on multiple times before)

  15. After seeing this in the news: http://www.firstpost.com/india/who-is-jaspal-atwal-khalistani-militant-convicted-of-trying-to-kill-punjab-minister-roils-india-canada-relations-4362871.html

I was wondering if anyone has got more information about the khalistan movement in canada during the 80s/90s. I know the likes of Parmar, Bagri, Para, Kooner, Khera and now Raman etc are all well known, but there were many other actions that took place in Canada. The likes of jasbir Singh Atwal, Jaspal Singh Atwal, Amarjit Singh Dhindsa and Sukhdial Singh Gill, I also remeber hearing about another group of youth who tried doing Rajiv Gandhi on his visit there?

Can anyone share any info as these are kurbaniyah that were taken by the youth during a dark period in our history.

Advance Warning: IF YOU GOT NOTHING PRODUCTIVE TO SAY THEN PLEASE DONT COMMENT ON THIS THREAD lol
