Sangat Ji, I was reading Se Kineya and many times Baba Ji (in response to someone coming to them and asking for something they needed help with) would say something along the lines of "Go into the presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and do ardaas with full faith and then make karah parshaad and offer it to Guru Ji and the sangat and your wish will be fulfilled". Why is the parshad being made so instrumental in granting a desire? I'm also reading the Damdami Taksaal Rehat and they too make Karah Parshad when someone comes to admit their cardinal sin. Why is this and what is the significance of Karah Parshad?

One of the best experience of my life was listening to Baba ji perform Asa Di vaar Kirtan at Amritvela in Guru Nanak School Hayes.

Baba ji have helped many people with their problems. I personally have a lot of respect for them.

    That's beautiful. Maharaj Kirpa.

Sangat Ji, I have a question. In the Ardaas it is mentioned that if you "simar" (meaning to remember or like simran itself; to repeat over and over) Teg Bahudar then you will get Nau Nidh. Or if you bring your mind to Har Krishan (for me again, it means to do simran on them) then all your pain will vanish. Is this true or is there another meaning to this that I'm missing?

A mahapurakh/mahapursh doesn’t normally show that they are. I’ve met him and he guides one towards Gurbani. He does seva of education of poor children and arrange marriages of those not so well off. If he’s the one you are going to meet, then he will guide you to Gurbani as any other Sant ji would. Don’t expect miracles, because even he says everything happens in Waheguru’s Hukam, only Waheguru can help.

I wasn't expecting a miracle or anything I was just asking so I knew a bit more about them. I'm going to ask for advice but I'm not asking to change my life anything - I just want some sikhyia or anything I can do help me move forward. I asked if they were a mahapurakh because I thought everyone who was called baba was a mahapurakh so I was just clearing that up. Thank you anyway Ji.

Sangat Ji, just an update it's getting worse than before now. At one point, my mum literally just sat in the car and was like "I'm done with life" and she just wouldn't move the car. I don't know what to do anymore - I can't even communicate with my family now because they try to stop me from this path and when they talk to me about it they can't speak to me about stopping me from sikhi because my family obviously isn't it to sikhi and myself Maharaj has blessed daas with this daath. Long story short, I'm going to see a Sant Ji (Maharaj kirpa) on Thursday and hopefully they can help me with something that will bring peace to this family. Does anyone have any tips on anything I can do now - I've literally exhausted all my options? Does Sant bachan ever fail - I've heard a few people haven't got what they asked for and it wasn't anything that would be deemed wrong as such?

    Vaheguru Ji.

Eventually with so much naam/bani you can get your mind to such a higher consciousness that you don't even need to sleep anymore. Happens to many mahapurakhs. Maharaj doesn't say you NEED to sleep but they do say that if you call yourself a Sikh of the guru then wake up at Amritvela (or stay awake because you don't need to be sleeping but you definitely need to be up at Amritvela to do simran/paath) and jaap naam. Hope that helps Ji.

i am asking for some asvice here, i started doing some simran, walking working and try to remember waheguru as much as possible since few months. I try to listen more and more katha kirtan and try to avoid lusty thoughts, try to control eyes not to see bad and everything i listen in katha i try best to follow gur sikhi.

about 10-15 days before I missed some of my papers on work, it was two pages. I am doing this job from 3 yrs, i am very use to it and i put every single item on its proper place, i was very confused where it gone. I try to check all pockets racks and everywhere possible but I didn’t find. Nobody was there no wind no door open nothing. I was very confused and then i told the boss about my lost paper. Anyhow he managed a new copy from the client.

2-3 hrs passed and i was still thinking about it and i started to put my further papers more accurately under my rack. After 2-3 hrs I lost the another paper.i was still thinking about it. Its 10-15 days now and today I lost third paper again.

I have taken its scan copy in phone so i can print it out but could anyone here has some similar experiences. I searched google there are many stories about negative spirits regarding missing books papers etc.

( i am a true belief of waheguru and i have nothing to worry about negative or positive or neutral evils or angels) but still i want to know if someone has some this tyle of experience.

    thanks

    VJKK VJKF

Personally, because you do Naam you already have a barrier against these negative spirits so don't be worried about them. Maybe it's just hukam and you gotta just ride the wave. It might be that Maharaj bought this incident into your life for you to come on here and write your experience and look for an answer but you end up finding another conversation about bani or naam and then start implementing that into your life. We don't know the game Maharaj plays but it's beautiful and infinite. Carry on the bhagti. Hope that helps Ji.

It might seem hard but you'll be surprised how many love married couples have problems. Maharaj put you with this person for a reason - he doesn't make mistakes. It maybe that he's making you pay for past karma or it maybe that this person is helping you in ways you don't understand yet - e.g controlling some of your panj Chor through love. Stay strong and increase your nitnem and things will get better on your inside. Hopefully this helps Ji.

If your family took amrit 10 times they would've got a tankiyah.

    VJKK VJKF

    1) What's tankiyah?

    2) Personally I think that's so crazy people took and broke Amrit 10 ten times wow.

I've tried reading Japji Sahib quite fast and I'm reading a lot more Japji Sahib now but is it wrong that I read more and sometimes my mind wanders for a few seconds at a time? It wasn't so bad at the beginning but as I started doing more my brain became more tired so I would still only wander for a few seconds but just it would happen more times whilst reading Japji Sahib. Any help as to if this is okay - is it okay that my mind wanders but I try to bring it back even though I think my mind wandering isn't totally caused by reading fast's. I think it's that I got really tired as I was coming towards to the end of my set goal so my mind waiver more but I was reading fast anyway so it just seemed twice as worse.

Fastest I've heard is 30 minutes for Sukhmani Sahib by a Singh from Hitchin (Herts) and this was back in '99 at the 300th anniversary of Khalsa Sirjana at Anandpur Sahib.  To read Gurbani faster it is read in the 'man' without moving tongue. Singh's who become experts at this then overlap with audible simran or vice versa so get double laha as a result concentration increases.

My grandfather told me of a paathi Singh who could read one side of an ang with a single breath during raul, so imagine the speeds.

My Dad was on the verge of death, He heard about a mahapurkh and got in touch with him. My father had been rejected from all hospitals, the Mahapurkh healed him and restored his health. He was days away from dying and now he's as lively as ever.

Before my Dad met the Mahapurkh he lead a really hedonistic lifestyle, afterwards he stopped it all cold turkey.

    VJKK VJKF

Maharaj Kirpa. I hope he's well now. How did your father find out about the mahapurakh? I myself would be honoured to have darshan of a mahapurakh.
