  1. In response to your question - I dont know!

I started investing in to it myself from December 2022 and continue to put a little away. Its my first time doing this and I have spent alot of time researching different coins and what makes a successful investment. The truth is, yes it is a gamble, but any investment is a gamble.

Some key things I have learned that make a successful coin to invest in:

    > Price - where has the price of the coin reached previously before?

    > Narrative - does the coin provide a real world solution e.g. AI coins seem to be a good investment at the moment as thats the way the world is going

    > Use case - is there a genuine use case for the coin which you can see in the future?

    > New/Existing coin - the research that I completed suggests that its the new coins that have had no prior bull market exposure are the ones that gain the most and make the most profit

I thought I would try investing and take it a bit more seriously so I keep on top of the news and research. If I lose I lose but atleast I gave it a go. Understanding the market cycles is key to it all and being patient - don't expect to see any huge profits till mid 2024 - 2025.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

  2. Is there anywhere I can download a compilation of hukumnama or paath similar to how hukumnama is read - Ive tried searching but couldnt find anything.

I enjoy how the hukumnama is read as I can fully take in what is being said. Alot of other paath is read fast and I struggle to fully understand it as my gurmukhi isnt too good.

If anyone knows of any other paath read in a similar way and at a similar speed please could you recommend? Ideally looking for something which I can download.

    Thanks

Gurbani tells us to focus on him.  So what is him/Akal Purakh? By focusing on the  meaning of Vaheguru we focus on his (Vahe) indescribable form/ability/hukam that (Guru) takes the soul out of spiritual darkness and into his grace.

Focus on his shakti of protecting Bhagat Prahlaad, Naamdev and others.

As a wife repeats her husbands name happily.  In the same manner love repeating Akal Purakh name.

Read Gurbani and find more reasons on how to focus on him.

I think this is what I was trying to get at, what is waheguru? Waheguru came in the form of the gurus who had wahegurus light inside them from my understanding. So is waheguru this light source/force/energy rather than a person? Is that what should come to my mind when doing simran or saying waheguru?

Thanks for this I will try it

  4. Sorry bro cant help you, thought you was in the UK - read the message i sent you hopefully it helps

Dont run scared like some of the advice your getting on here lol putting cctv up and all that sh!t is just showing them your afraid and come on bro, were sikhs. The last people we should fear is muslims after the example our gurus set

  5. You havent seen poverty till you been to India

Alot of apne go to punjab so dont see it as much but go to places like Delhi and its a big shock to the system

I wouldnt say its overrated, the amount of historical places there and things to see makes it worthwhile but they deffo need to do something about the poverty problem there. I would say the situation there is worse than africa  because i think most places in africa have access to clean water now

  6. All interesting thoughts ... so basically keep my distance and pray for them and by doing so, I will start feeling better within myself.

Ive been praying for them for a while now and it seems like a wasted effort.

In terms of my own personal relationship with them - any advice on this? by keeping my distance im almost being off with them, is this the right thing to do as a sikh? or i should i continue as if nothings happened and sort of love them unconditionally?

Im finding it difficult to make my mind up about them. Sometimes I feel as if i should just stop talking to them completely as it seems to have worked for other peeps who disown family members but then theres a part of me that thinks i have to live with this the rest of my life and deal with it throughout my life and i should just accept this

  7. Im posting this just to get some generic sikh views on how to deal with difficult members of the family

What do you do when you have a 'black sheep' in the family who throughout their life has hurt you and others members of your family and continues to do so? Its gone past the point of talking to them - we are at the point where we have just come to accept that this is their character, but how should we be with this person?

Ive seen alot of families just disown certain members but this is hard to do when you still care for them.

From a sikh perspective though, can anyone suggest how our attitude or way of thinking should be so we are not hurt? Or will we just have to live and accept being hurt by them?

Ive deliberately kept the scenario brief because im looking for a more generalised answer

    Appreciate any opinions on this...
