You should be hoping for development of the whole country not wars. Panjab will lose a lot if China / Pak invade, remember everything is fair in war , so chinese soldiers would not think twice about leveling Golden Temple into dust and then posing for photos. Unless you're hoping everything around Panjab is destroyed and somehow Panjab isn't touched. In 2050, India will have a bigger economy than USA, so in the mean time, since you live in Panjab, convince the SGPC to create missionaries to convert North India, so Sikhs can take over from the inside out.

In a country where Hindi has engulfed regional languages, Panjabi is the only one surviving and thriving in North India. I can't just move, my whole life is here along with my family. In different states I would need licenses and certificates of the new states, plus cops don't get paid as well outside of the bayarea . Plus California has everything, it has forests , mountains , ocean , open plains. I been to Yuba City for Nagar Kirtan , most of the city is just farm land , it was great. I'm 23 and becoming an adult but looking at the future of spending 10 plus hours at work everyday terrifies me. That and taxes I'm going to have to pay , no free days , mortgages, bills & etc. I'm going to become a Police Officer and the pay is great but in the back of my head , I hate the thought of working and wasting my life doing it. Now sometimes I dream about going to into the Santa Cruz Forest and building a little Cabin and living my life as a hermit . I would bathe and fish in the sea and find fruits and berries in the trees . Though this is just a day dream , it's a pretty nice one to have. I envy rich kids, lol.

In this recent decade, Panjabi music has hit a peak. I remember when I was 10 , my favorite singer was Jazzy B and his 2005 Romeo CD was a hit . He's still good but the young cats have taken over from Jazzy B , Dr Zeus , Sukhshinder Shinda , Babbu Mann , Gippy Grewal , Gurdas Mann and others. Todays biggest artist are Diljeet Dosanjh , Sidhu Moosewala , Sherry Mann , Mankirt Aulakh , Parmash Verma , Jassi Gill , Guru Randahawa , Ammy Virk , Zora Randhawa , Jasmine Sandlas , Hardy Sandhu & many others . Many of these guys average 40-50 million views each and some songs can reach 100-200 million views like US artists . This is great news as we Sikhs have made Panjabi famous , Sikhs carry Panjabi when hindoos and mullahs abandoned it and now it's GLOBAL . I assume most subs on here live in western countries. Now I think we'd all agree , when I say Panjabis are the best looking ethnic group within India. But............Indians have terrible stereotypes in USA . From " Pooping Streets " , " Poo in Loo " , poverty infused images the west likes to show of India to the terrible accents they have . It's very difficult to date as an Indian. But none of those stereotypes apply to Panjabis, except the accent but that's fixable. So everytime i hear negatives about Indian men on social media and news about how creepy and ugly they are , I don't give it a second thought since I'm Panjabi. Panjabis don't fit that nerdy indian geek stereotype like Raj from Big Bang Theory or Apu from Simpsons. I mean , Indian is a nationality not an ethnicity , so If you live in USA and are a citizen, you're a Punjabi - American . I've also noticed in my last Punjab trip , that guys really take care of their physique and many of my cousins and their friends had those western hair styles and casual western clothing. I think, since Panjab is well off for the most part, people have the luxury to work on their bodies and fashion. So for a litany of reason Punjab>>India.

My Family is Saini originally from Jalandhar [ Hot bed of Sainis ] and also Hindus. Even when I was young , there were puja being held in my house , where 15-20 other women would show up and sit in a room doing some hindu puja , I also remember being scarred when I saw a dude coming into the Puja room in a full tiger costume , down on all fours , and some young girl dressed up like a Sita ma or whatever hindu god , I don't remember. My mom also has built a little " mandir " in a closet in our house . Well you can't take over countries in 2018 , and Sikhs don't have a active army. Building an Island 100 miles from Ethiopia would put it near major trading routes. I was thinking , why doesn't a Panjabi billionare build a sovereign Island off the coast of east Africa ? It would probably cost more than a 100 billon dollars , but think about the potential. Look at Dubai and Singapore . I was thinking a really rich Panjabi " Elon Musk " decides to build a sovereign country. Once that Island has a 1000 mile foundation [ 5x as big as Singapore ] , the billionare would bring Japanese specialist to build Japanese like Infrastructure , you know what I mean , clean and developed with a vending machine every 2 miles . Most people in most religions are always casual and cultural as in they don't heavily practice what they're born into. Myself , I'm Sajadhari and I don't really believe in a all mighty God who controls everything. If I wasn't born a Panjabi , I wouldn't be Sikh. What I do believe in is the Warrior culture of Khalsa. So when a lunatic decides to go in a cave for a few days and proclaim himself " prophet " , I just say wow , what magic does did guy use on a 1,000,000,000 people . Or when I hear stories like the entire humanity coming from 2 people , Adam and eve. Then you start wondering , how the humanity can come from 2 people , and all the incest that comes with that not to mention , people becoming sterile and deformed just after a few generations of inbreeding and some how , Asians , Blacks and whites came from such things , not to mention Eve being created from the rid of Adam , like <banned word filter activated> ? Have you wondered why modern Panjabi names are so bland and awful ? Almost all people today have names that end with " preet " , " jeet " , " inder" . Sukhdeep, Ballsdeep, Sukhvinder , Balginder , Rupinder , Honeypreet , Paramjeet . Then you have names people literally picked at random like Pinkie , Honey , Lovely aka just adjectives. Also many names today are Unisex , so many women and men share the same name . What happened to originality , Panjabi names before the 19th century were great. Zorawar, Zora , Zail , Zayn , Arjan , Waris , Jassa , Gulab , Amar , Sher , Gobind, Hari , Har'rai . I don't understand why most people don't name their children after the Gurus. I do want names like Hargobind , Gobind , Tegh and others to be popular . I don't want to see everyone with these lame ' inder , pinder, jinder , jeet ' endings. Personally , when I have 5 boys of my own , their names will be Zorawar , Arjan , Amar ,Sher & Zayn . Possibly also want Gobind in there as well , not 100% decided.
