Partition was a good thing for us in the long run. Imagine living in a Punjab where the vast majority of people were suls.

I also don't give a damn about Heer Ranjha, Mirza, Waris Shah etc. All sul culture and even Punjabi suls don't care about them the same way a lot of pathetic apne do, especially apne singers. Pakjabis would rather glorify Urdu writers like Ghalib who was from Delhi.

The odd grooming cases are everywhere, even in Europe where several Sikh girls have been groomed, but I am talking about the organized efforts like the ones visible in the UK.
Paks in the US - majority of them Punjabis - are pretty succesful, educated, have a low crime rate and generally good relations with Sikhs/East Punjabis.

Could it be that mostly Mirpuris were grooming back in the day hence creating the narration that groomers are mostly Mirpuris and now Pak Punjabs, Afghanis and others taking over.

If you really have access to figures and names in the crimes that we do not have, could you do a quick analysis of the cases of the past decades and see the % (approx) of Pak Punjabs vs Mirpuris ? Genuinely interested because most cases I have read about had Mirpuris involved in them:

BTW, you're probably referring to me in your post because I was the one who bought up the Mirpuri grooming issue in some other thread and I also suggested that we need to focus on improving our relations in West Punjab so we can further Panthic goals in Pak which was not appreciated on this forum.

Pakistanis in the USA are simply in far fewer numbers than the UK. White Americans are probably less likely to take any nonsense from them as well, most of them have guns. 

Even if more Mirpuris are involved than Pakjabis, both Mirpuris and Pakjabis hang out at school and are likely to influence each other. I cannot emphasise this enough - Islam comes before any silly concept of Punjabayat, which only laloo Sikhs believe in.

I also remember having an Egyptian colleague at university in the mid 2000s who would always talk badly about Pakistanis to me. Saying that Pakistanis are ruining the name of Muslims with their extremism and terrorism. Lo and behold the same extremism and terrorism became rampant in Egypt with church bombings etc.

There really is not much difference between them.

I couldn't care less if a sul is from Mirpur, Lahore, Karachi, Dhaka, Kabul, Delhi, Algiers, Casablanca. A sul is still a sul. They all exhibit similar behaviour and have little respect for those from other faiths. So much arrogance.

This thread reminds me of when some Hindus and Sikh people have said to me that Indian Muslims are better than Pakistanis. I simply tell them that the only difference is that they are a minority in India and they cannot do much with their numbers. I then tell them to look at how Indian Muslims behave when they do become a majority in an area - Kashmir. All minorities are thrown out or harassed.

I think it's more to do with the mass migration of Sikhs to UK/Canada/USA/Australia

The Hindus from Punjab do not migrate as much.

Sikhs were once 65 - 70% of the population, now we're less than 60%.

We're probably the only faith in the world so obsessed and tied to one language. It really shuts other people out. Do Buddhists in South East Asia speak any Indian language? Do Indonesians speak Arabic? Do European Christians speak Aramaic? Do western Jews speak Hebrew?

It's one of the reasons Sikhi never spread much beyond Punjab.

Ideally we would not have to move to Western countries but that's the way it is. We are just as racist if not more.

Why publicise such a thing?

Btw , which city are you in/close to ? Melbourne was a 'non-penal' city, I think, compared to the other major ones, so wonder if less racism there?

We are some of the most racist people out there. Anyone East or South of Delhi is referred to as a Bhaiya. Dark skinned people are referred to kallus. Then there are derogatory caste based insults like choora, chamaar.
