When guru gobind singh ji formed khalsa panth they(he) asked for one head five times and at that time only 5 men went inside the tent so anybody can be a khalsa there is no discrimination of gender and it is upto you that if you wanna be called singh or kaur or for example name is aman you can also be called aman khalsa no singh or kaur but it is purely up to you that you wanna be singh or kaur
