Sikhs believe in Satan?
Interesting stuff.
Waheguru did not make an error. The people of earth did. They had forgotten the ways of God.Thus,God sent multiple messengers to spread the message of God the truth. But they themselves got trapped in the worldly affairs so that was THEIR error not Gods.
Now about Satan,In Sikhism we acknowledge the existence of such creatures for example devils like Satan,Angels and other beings. But we do not believe them to be as powerful or more powerful than the Supreme Lord.

Yes I have seen some of these before. They can be quite scary looking.I remember once I went somewhere and when I came back it was about midnight. When parking the car I saw this creature about 2 metres tall black in colour with white and purple eyes.It stared at me and vanished. Then I saw it 2 more times in my house on the same day.

Shasters come in different forms, sometimes it is legal, sometimes it is political, other times it is financial.
You need to take out the right kind of shaster as per the situation.
Sometimes warfare is bloodless.
True, that's why theres the kirpan of Miri and Piri. The spiritual sword and the temporal sword. You are right the temporal sword does not only refer to our physical kirpans it also refers the other things that you mentioned. However, whichever Shaster we use,we cannot let this injustice of converting this gurudwara into a mosque.Agree with you

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
Bhenji, the only advice I can give you is that you should leave it to Vaheguru. Its like we are in a ship.We are not in control of it.So we should have trust in the One controlling it and have faith as He wont let us down and steer us the wrong way.

Admins and Mods are dead. they were quick to boot me out of here 3 yrs back for petty reasons. but now they can't see the mischiefs happening under their noses.
This will be my last post here. I am not interested in contributing my valuable knowledge to a site that has unfortunately become now a hotbed of jihadis .
bye .

Veerji dont leave because of a few trouble makers. The only thing they can do is to give useless arguments or to down vote our posts. Remember they do this because they are scared from within and they know they are wrong. You should stay here and help contribute to the rest of the sangat who needs help from Gursikhs like you.

Turn the abandoned mosques into gurdwaras.
Disband the waqf board in Punjab.
As per usual, the muslims have shown us the right way to do things. Give them a taste of their own medicine.
True.We have seen this pattern multiple times.Until we don't take our kirpans out and be a fauj they don't learn

all they want to do these days is convert everything to a mosque
mate, arent there already a thousand mosques around that area? why do you need more?
messed up people
True.Even if they want another mosque in that area they can get land and build it.Why do they need to occupy other Faith's temples and call it their own.

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
Something needs to be done to put them in their place. They can do whatever they want with their mosques but they cannot convert temples of other Faith's to theirs. This is similar to the mughal times where they would do such atrocities. They had no right to do this in the past, they have no right to do this now and they will never get this right. They need to be stopped.

Because I know someone who started doing it and a bharam giani went to his house to tell him off; they were furious. Breathing is just a biological function, if your dhiyan gets stuck on that reaching higher stages will be impossible.
Satguru Nanak Dev Ji instructed us to do simran by connecting surat with shabad (not breath with shabad). People might tell you to breath in saying wahe and out saying guru, but Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji - no where do they tell us this. Saas ghiraas simran doesn't literally mean simran with each breath. Guru sahib are only referring to a stage when simran happens just like breathing happens (24/7 non stop with the unconscious mind).
Our goal is to attach surat with shabad. The first stage is dhun main dhiyaan. Just doing waheguru simran (spoken as one word) and listening to it, keeping focus on the sound of Waheguru word; this will give you everything.
God bless you, brilliant you have thirst to do simran

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
Yes it's common to feel presence of spirits after hearing ghost stories. This used to happen to me last time but when I kept on reading more bani,I realised that spirits are nothing to be scared of.After that whenever I heard ghost stories, the presence went away.Im pretty sure that this is a psychological thing where if we hear about ghost stories,we start feeling the presence near us but it is nothing. And yes this happens to alot of people.

Honestly ,I'm not sure why he is getting these dreams and whether they are true or not.I think he is worried about something and that he keeps thinking about it,hence he is getting bad dreams. However this is my opinion and it may not be true.Really sorry that I can't answer the question.I humbly request the other sangat to please help answer the question so that the sikh above gets the answer

I would personally say yes. Your own experiences of Anand and bliss of Naam will prove to you undoubtedly. The Mahapurkhs have got to such a state in their Abhiyaas that they don't need to ask the question anymore. They know and are one with them. For example Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir and Baba Harnaam Singh ji Raamphur Khere Wale.
How many special events are associated with them? How many times have miraculous events occur? You can say that there is a small probability of chance etc. but miracle after miracle, Kirpa after Kirpa stacks up and really the odds of it not being the Creator's are impossible. Just read their Sakhis, the great miracles that have happened in Sri Harimander Sahib, Shaheed Singhs, effect of Paath. It can't be by chance.
You can also prove something transcendent exists:
The universe has a beginning,
The being that created it must beyond space time and matter otherwise you lead yourself into an infinite loop which reduces to absurdity.
Therefore we have just concluded that the beginner of creation must be at least transcendent.
Also a point on your emotions. I don't need to prove anger, pain or bliss exist. You're able to feel them, same with Naam.
Whenever you may get thoughts like this just remember the Sants.
So true

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh
No bhai sahib you do not need to go for pesh. You did not do it intentionally, people who go for pesh is normally when they break the Rehat Maryada purposely or when they took amrit but diverted from sikhi and now wish to come back to sikhi. However in your case,it was an accident so its should be fine, but if you feel uncomfortable, you can still go for pesh but you do not need to do other things like retake amrit. If anyone disagrees with me please correct me.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji's parchaar is not lost in time.It did not take 10 Gurus to come up with the 5ks.The 5ks are part of the recognition of the Khalsa Panth. The Khalsa Panth,as mentioned by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, was established on the order of God.It wasn't the case where it took 10 Gurus to simply come up with it.The truth is that the 5ks and Rehat Maryada of the Khalsa Panth was given to the Sikhs when God felt it was right. The evidence from Sikhism is Agaya Bhaiye Akaal Ki Tabhe Chalayo Panth. This translates to Upon receiving the order from God,the Khalsa Panth has been established.
