  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I looking to buy an iphone and one of my friends says he`ll give me his since he`s moving to USA. It`s a fairly new 16 Gb 3G iphone great condition but has no accessories (already gave them to someone else). He wants 240 pounds for it but I don`t know if it`s worth it. I`ve been wanting one for a while so I don`t have to carry my ipod and my phone at the same time but they have always been too expensive for me. My plan is to sell the 30Gb ipod that I already have for 20 to 40 pounds and buy it but I don`t know if it`s worth it. My question is, should I buy it and if yes, what accessories do I have to buy for it? I need to give him an answer by Wednesday morning because he`s leaving in the afternoon so if someone, anyone can reply before I would be very greatfull. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

    Hair Issue

***THIS MESSAGE IS POSTED ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE*** Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I am a practising sikh and absolutly LOVE rugby, when I was around your age I had the same dilemma. I used to wear a patka at the time and i was told that if I had great potential and I would have no problems at joining the international setup in a few years down the line. However during a match I relised that some of the players in the oppostion were aiming for my joora during scrums and when I was tackling them. I spoke to my coach after the match and he said that if I wanting to go professional then I will have to wear a "different style of turban that is more secure or cut my hair". When I realised no matter what dastar I tied on it would not be tight enough I was heartbroken. I then relised that I had to chose between my sikhi and rugby and no matter how much I love rugby I could not turn my back on GOD and chose to quit playing and to this very day I have never regretted my decision. The point I am trying to make is that you have to take your situation as a test from God and ask yourself: Whats more important to me rugby or GOD? Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  3. Have a kirtan program in your house and make some cake and don`t give them any. If you want to embarass them then shout out infront of the sangat and shout "DON`T GIVE THEM ANY CAKE, THEY DIDN`T GIVE ME ANY!!!!!" LOL
  4. From what I remember, the Rehit Maryada says only an Amritdhari can do paath infront of the sangat. I don`t know the main reason but I was told by an elder that if a mona is doing paath infront the the sangat then he`ll will be sending out the wrong "image" of sikhi. Personally I think its ok for a non amritdhari to do paath infront of the sangat if there is no amritdhari. As long as he is doing it with pyaar and as seva and not just doing it to look good infront of the sangat.
  5. does any1 where sikhi camp will take place this year
