  1. Constantly mentioning Jatts all the time in topics not even related to Jatts is ironically causing resentment. No Sikh lurker (who happens to be a Jatt) will be happy reading their group being attacked all the time if they came here for advice or to read about Gurbani/history. The topic title and original post itself is ridiculous, Jatts have done more for the quom than anyone else. If Jatts hadn't unified then Sikhi might not even exist today. It will also be Jatts that will bring the quom forward once a strong leader unifies them again. The Indian government is solely afraid of Jatts abroad who assert a different identity, they aren't afraid of other groups as much.
  2. Anyway I don't think I should talk to him anymore. He told me he would like to come to England and see me and I'm not so sure anymore. Like he's handsome and has a good job but I can't be with someone who ignores a big aspect of who I am.
  3. Yh and I have not taken Amrit or anything. My hair is long and I don't wear a turban & I care about my fitness and stuff. Basically I used to post a lot on Instagram and other social media sites and if you saw pictures of me you would not think I am religious in any shape or form. I'm trying to change though. I'm trying to learn more about Sikhi. Like don't get me wrong there are definitely some Punjabi men who have taken an interest in me but I've noticed after talking to them more these are not the type of men I want in my life. A lot of Punjabi guys in the UK are very bad imo. A lot of Pakistanis always try to date me and get close to me. I would say it's mostly white men who show an interest in me though. There are also so many older Pakistani men interested in me, they stalk me online. Black men don't really show an interest but then again we don't really have blacks in my town and I don't interact with them either lol. It just makes me mad, how can that Dutch guy be so kind to me and talk to me everyday but whenever I try talking about religion he tries to change the topic and treats me coldly. It's so annoying. I noticed that white men are more empathetic than desi men, he rlly tries to listen to my feelings and what I think. Unless if it's about my culture or religion. He gets passive aggressive then and tries to divert the topic.
  4. Thank you and I did reach out to my mother and asked her to try to help me 'look' for someone back home. The only relatives we are in contact with are our aunt's family in Canada and my grandmother (who is not even supposed to be talking to us). I told my mother to ask my grandmother. Our grandfather cut off my mother bc my mum did some bad things apparently, I don't know. Anyway it's ridiculously hard for me and most well-meaning Sikhs would be put off by my family's situation. Actually I wasn't even religious until 2 years ago tbh. I've already said that I don't care about his family class, caste, or income or whatever as long as he's a Sikh and kind man. A Dutch man from the Netherlands really likes me and i chat with him a lot, he's not religious at all though. I was wondering if I could marry a gora and introduce him to Sikhi but most goreh are so put off, they think I'm mentally unwell when I mention my religion and if he would be willing to consider it for me.
  5. Lol if I lived in London or the Midlands I wouldn't even be making this topic. Unfortunately I live in a grim and dying town where everyone is either white or Paki.
  6. Hmm I haven't but I might try reaching out, although that's quite embarrassing for me. Like I said my mum doesn't help me at all, she just expects me to date and marry whoever I want. Yh I tried Shaadi lol and I got 500 likes and match requests overnight when I first joined, it's too weird plus I feel like there are a lot of pendu scammers on there. I can't trust anyone online. Also so many people who aren't even Sikhs contacting me.
  7. Aren't you a female too? Are you married?
  8. I live in a <banned word filter activated> dominated town near Manchester. We moved because we’re poor and now we’re stuck here because we’re poor. edit: why is <banned word filter activated> banned lol edit: muslim
  9. Yea but most men are sinister and they chat up multiple women.
  10. I am upfront about who I am. The only men who are kind and show interest in me are white men and Punjabi men don’t like me for some reason. Or they just want to use me. I don’t have a network, that’s the issue. Should I try Sikh dating sites? lol but that’s awkward
  11. It doesn’t. Age does though and isn’t Dally like 70 or something? lol
  12. Lol u troll. You ruined my topic by mentioning Dally. Not fair ? now he’s going to start crying about Jatts here
  13. Hi loves, As I get older, the thoughts of marriage can’t seem to stop going away. Unfortunately even though I’m Punjabi and a Sikh (still trying to become the best Sikh I could possibly be) I don’t come from a normal Sikh family. We don’t really have contact with our family and my mum is a single mother. My mum is also not religious and she doesn’t care who I marry. We’re also not in a good financial situation. I’m wondering how can I possibly find a Sikh man who can look past that? Because as we know family is quite important in Sikhi. I’ve talked to white men before and a lot of them have liked me and expressed interest in me but whenever I bring up Sikhi they become awkward and want to change the topic. I don’t want to marry a white man who doesn’t care about my religion. Meanwhile most Punjabi men seem to have a negative image of me for whatever reason.
  14. @Premi5 The difference is that these Sikhs will actually still pass on Sikh values to their children and even teach Sikhi to their foreign spouse. Most Sikh girls who marry out completely assimilate to western/goreh culture and their children end up being confused. Most Sikh girls who marry out did not even care about Sikhi in the first place. If I marry a white dude then he has to be a Sikh or embrace Sikhi.
  15. This thread is ridiculous. No one should be converting. The truth is that Sikh women marry out MORE. That’s the truth. Especially to goreh. Then they try living a goreh lifestyle and when it backfires they go back home crying to their parents. Sikh men (especially religious Sikh men) are less likely to marry out. If you really want a foreign spouse so bad make them grow fond of Sikhi.
  16. That’s why I’m saying they need to band together. Despite arriving fairly recent (most Sikhs there are 1st or 2nd gen) they’ve already accomplished a lot and make much more money than Canadian and UK Sikhs. They just need to start pouring money into certain initiatives. Also they need to make more babies
  17. Duh. Dally is too much of an <banned word filter activated> to understand semantics. The ‘European’ DNA he keeps seething about is actually Scythian DNA. It disproves his racial theories. If anything, he’s the one trying to create some weird divide by implying Jatt women are loose and slept with goreh. How can anyone not see what this dangar is doing?
  18. UK Sikhs are weird. There’s something off about them. I think American Sikhs are very successful and then we have the Canadian Sikhs which are very pendu and have made some parts of Canada a second Punjab. However Canadian politics pander heavily to Sikh minorities. Despite arriving and living in the UK at the same time as the sullehs and having similar numbers, sullehs have accomplished much more than UK Sikhs (in terms of recognition and politics). It’s the opposite in Canada and the US. Is it true that UK Sikhs also have the highest rate of marrying goreh? A lot of female Sikhs in the UK do this. Our best bet are the American Sikhs, they need to band together and help the quom. Some American politicians are also more willing to listen.
  19. 23andme goes back 500 years and I’m basically 99% Punjabi. harappaWorld goes back thousands of years. There weren’t even any Brits in India until 300 years ago. You’re delusional. You hate Jatts so much you’re creating false tales. You’re obsessed with kinky and disgusting ideas. Creep
  20. Here’s my DNA results. Legit, Dally you’re actually retarded. No offense. Anyone entertaining this clown should be ashamed of themselves.
  21. That’s literally not what they mean though, every Sikh has NE euro. It’s not recent ancestry. It’s extremely ancient ancestry related to Sintashta migrations. Stop being dumb. look at this man for example, he scores 100% Punjabi yet he has NE Euro on the ancient calculator
  22. My entire point was that Jatts have a long and complex history, it’s hard to erase tribalism completely. Jatts are an ethnic group, not even really a caste until the Brahmins placed them into the varna system. Distinctions will NEVER go away but discrimination (like what Dally does on a daily basis) has to.
  23. Sorry that you can’t pick up a book and read or decipher charts, Dally. Maybe one day you’ll become literate, lol. Keep revealing how vile you really are.
  24. He is actually a mentally ill slow man. Look at how he swears at me, lol. Is this what a Sikh looks like? That’s vile behaviour. He talked disgustingly about my family.
  25. I know, it doesn’t matter because Sikhi recognises all Sikhs as one. There’s obvious seething from people who are non-Jatts all the time about Jatts. Even though it is probably because of us Sikhi has survived and made it this far. they put down jatts as much as possible. Don’t you see the irony in preaching against casteism but nefariously hating and badmouthing Jatts?
