  1. lolz u ppl r so cruel....why uz makin fun of him man...so wha if he doesnt know how to speak gud english....im sure if he typed in punjabi most of uz wuldnt undastand so hes doin his best....give him a break pplz...and i've seen most of uz go on and on bout khalistan so why cant he express his feelings now...all of a sudden its stupid to talk bout gettin ur own country wacko.gif jus coz someone cant put it in words as gud as u can... no.gif makin fun of our own bro...

    Im not making fun of him but just saying that if he was from the UK he would have called himself 118118 not 10199. Plus i reject his hatred ideology and his fanatisicm dream for the formation of Khalistan by inciting hatred on this forum and talking about killing Hindus.

    Its simple im a lover and he's a hater :lol:

    I dont believe in violence unless its used as a last resort and im also not biased in any form i can say that both Sant Bhinderwalla and Indira Ghandi made mistakes neither of them were perfect.

    Sant Bhinderwalla had no right to use the vacinity of the Sri Harminder Sahib as a fortress even though he spoke the truth plus Indira Ghandi was a good leader but later in her life she made some retarded choices.

    But that just my opinion :@

    I just prefer the Punjab to be part of a secular India rather than be run by the Sikh version of the taliban and now i know that after typing this im probably going to be bombarded with messages from some Khalistani dudes. rolleyes.gif

    Ps: Im a Sikh so dont start saying your not a Sikh ladida but i believe Sikhism preaches the unity of mankind and by forming an independant nation which borders economic giants and aggressive neighbours we would just go even further down the gutter.

  2. From what i know Sikhs keep their hair because its a gift from God and no matter how many times you cut it, it grows back unless your suffering from some baldness condition like one of my uncles tongue.gif and its about identity so that you as a Sikh would always be recognised in a crowd. :TH:

  4. You know what, this is exactly what I'd expect from a "ramgharia" committee, but then again the way things are going this does not surprise me one bit.

    It was only a matter of time before the CLUB scene would hit these Gurdwara Committe run Community Halls.

    Another embarrasing committee!!!

    LOL RAMGHARIAS A JOKE lol jus like the 1 in southall they never have any 1 looking after guru ji or praying they jus stick a tape on secondly they eat on tables and chairs wid shoes ,used 2 give parshad out wid an ic cream scoop fing but stopped after complaints ,and they have a pic of sum nex vishkarama geezer which i do not like .....They naem gurdwaras on castes do weird fings dey jsu a joke

    If what you saying is right then these rami's sound like right idiots wacko.gif

  5. VJKK VJKF,

    Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan and Mela tomorrow (30th April) in Wolverhampton starting from Guru Nanak Satsang Gurdwara, Cannock Road, Wolverhampton and then passing all Gurdwaras in Wolverhampton reaching West Park and Approx. 1pm.

    A feature of this years Mela in West Park is the "Sikhi Tent" for the youth aimed specifically for our youngsters. The Tent will include:

    * multimedia presentations

    * Lectures

    * Sikhi Arts

    * Martial Arts and Gatka Displays

    * Sikhi competitions

    and lots more.....

    The aim is to reach Sikh Youth at the mela who are otherwise unreachable....ie never come to the gurdwara etc.

    They should really have one nagar kirtan from cannok road past sedgly and then onto west park instead the Gurdwaras pointlessly have two seperate nagar kirtans rolleyes.gif

    bhul chuk muaf...

    Ok this might sound weird but i had a dream or vision dont remember which but i think Guru Nanak dev ji was guiding me down my stairs slowly it was really weird since i dont understanding how i knew it was Guru Nanak, i dont recall how he looked like and i dont know the purpose of the dream quite frustrating really. :lol:

  7. I know but its just something interesting to find out who your forefathers were and how they would have lived and how their decisions had made you the person you are today

    Akhoza ji, i got no issues with that, just i got issues with denial. If its truth, we should not be shame and deny it.

    How can you prove your lineage ? Please enlighten me. Even the Phulkian Raja and Kapurthala Raja could not prove their lineage and had to resort to making up links to the Bhattis of Rajasthan.

    Really, well i was watching this programme where this british asian woman traced her forefathers back to the 18/19 century using people who have these massive books with all sorts of details. I hope its possible :lol:

  8. I know but its just something interesting to find out who your forefathers were and how they would have lived and how their decisions had made you the person you are today

    Akhoza ji, i got no issues with that, just i got issues with denial. If its truth, we should not be shame and deny it.

    I wouldnt be ashamed if my forefathers were muslims, id be proud that they took Sikhism as their religious path.

  9. You get Khosa people in Baloochistan.

    Also some Hindus use the surname Khosa.

    I suppose it could be like Cheema. You get Muslim, Hindu and Sikhs using this surname.

    But i still have a chance of my forefathers being muslim just something interesting, i think i should go to India and find out my family history.

    You guys make it seem like being hindu in ancestory lineage is a crime.

    It's very pretty self explained, before sri guru nanak dev ji- either our ancestors were in umbrella of orders under hind Dharam or were from Islamic muslim background because hind area(including afghanistan, pakistan) had two main dharams before sikhism- Hinduism and Islam

    All that does not matter at all.

    We are all humans at the end of day. After seeing some of responses on this thread, it reminded me off this hindi movie- karntikar something like that in that nana patekar breaks down all the hypocrisy exist in social norms by doing little cut on hindu's finger and fetch blood from the finger and then doing little cut on muslim's finger and fetch blood from finger. And then he asks un-educated pendus and katarpanthis in soceity, now tell me which blood belongs to which group?

    It was quite strong scene for anyone to see.

    I know but its just something interesting to find out who your forefathers were and how they would have lived and how their decisions had made you the person you are today :nihungsmile:

  10. wjkk wjkf!

    i've been asked many times if sikhs were hindhus before guru nanak and never know what to say..maybe the sangat could add some insight as some people say yes and others no

    I got a feeling my forefathers were not hindus but muslims since i have a unique surname which is widely ragarding as a muslim surname infact the guy who ordered the bricking up of Guru Gobind Singh's 2 youngest sons had the same surname as mine Wazir khan Khosa ohmy.gif

  11. Ive had too many embarassing moments but the most recent one was when i was in a rush to get to a university interview and i just came out the train, the escalator was full therefore i tried running up the stairs really fast and i fell LOL.gif face first, the worst thing was the escalator was full and the people were all looking and i barely got up LOL.gif

    Mind you i fall quite often- clumsy me blush.gif

  12. ARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :lol: :@no.gif :wub: no.gifohmy.gif

    ALL THE INFO IS WRONG.... COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!!

    You got that right!!!!!!!!!

    Sikhs believe in one formless God and Hinduism believe in many Gods, now how can we be from the same religion, Hinduism is heavily based on the caste system whereas Sikhism rejects the caste system even though some Sikhs may practise it :@ . We dont believe in idol worsip they do, we dont think a cow is any holier than a pig but they do. We dont believe in those meaningless rituals which Hinduism is full, a Hindu i know even admitted that. We have our own sacred text the Guru Granth Sahib which is remarkbly coherant with scientific facts. Sikhism preaches equality of women whereas in many parts of India Hindu girls are married off at an early age and some hindu women are even made to participate in sathi. Personally Hinduism doesnt really make alot of sense to me and the only thing i see that we have in commen is probably the fact that we both are dharmic religions and apart from that i would say we have more in commen with Islam.

    Ps: im not saying theres anything wrong with Hinduism, im just saying it doesnt make alot of sense to me blush.gif
